This is an absolutely beautiful room with an excellent location. Giampaolo is a very responsive and welcoming host. I cannot recommend this property enough. The only very minor issue I had with the property was that the shower in the bathroom could use a cleaning. But everything else was lovely and I am very pleased overall.

The Room was Fantastic, centrally located close to everything within 20 mins walk. About 12 mins walk from Train Station. Just minutes to famous bridges to enjoy Sunsets.There is an elevator or 99 stairs to the room. Plenty of room to unpack & feel comfortable. Filled with good art & selection of novels. Good for a short or long stay. Takes a while to get hot water in the Super Clean bathroom, plenty of room for toiletries. Great if you want a historic Italian feel for your stay in Florence.

A clean, private, quiet, historic, and just cool property. Originally a 17th century Palazzo. So many useful amenities. There's air conditioning and it works well but we did not use it even when it was over 30 degrees. Probably because of the stone walls and narrow streets blocking the sun. Very nice! Maybe plumbing could use an update but it's workable. Location is more important and the host is amazing. Polite, accommodating, responsive. Thank you!

Struttura in edificio antico situata al 4 piano, in pieno centro di Firenze, letti e cuscini molto comodi, bagno un po' datato ma funzionale.Un po' rumoroso a causa della strada sottostante alla mattina ma sopportabile.Soggiorno piacevole.

This was a great place to stay! The host was super welcoming and accommodating, and was graciously able to let us check in a couple hours early when we had asked only the day before. The room was very comfortable and clean; the entire flat is beautiful and historic. The location is great, with lots of good restaurants and stores nearby; very easily walkable to major Florence sights.

Like staying in a museum

The host was so gracious and attentive without interrupting our vacation. The location was so close and yet you aren't bothered by any noise (except the occasional church bells, but that's everywhere). We made sure to include the stair master in our pre-visit workouts as he did not exaggerate about the 99 steps. But between the accommodations and the great legs we now have, it was definitely worth it!
