Sant' Egidio apartment is located of the ground floor of a 19th C. building and easily accomodates 3 adults (1 is sofa bed). Is a very quiet apartment since orientated to an internal court.
There are 3 stairs to enter the apartment.
The apartment is in typical Tuscan style with beams and joists. Holds 1 large master bedroom, 1 bathroom with shower, 1 kitchenette with oven, microwave, dishwasher, electric kettle, toaster, smoother and small little lounge with flat LED TV and sofa bed. In both bedroom and lounge air conditioning is available. Internet WI-FI connection is free and available together with washing machine.

Our stay in Florence Italy was wonderful. The apartment was very cozy. The location is perfect. It is very close and easily walkable to all the attractions, restaurants, and stores for essential needs. The communications with the host is great. I would recommend this apartment to any one staying in Florence.

Exactly as described.

We enjoyed staying at this 15th century property for our two-week stay. Comfy bed, updated kitchen, very quiet and insulated from any street noise. It was perfect for a couple on vacay in Florence. We were softly greeted in the mornings by the bells of the Duomo. All went 5-stars until the last two mornings with no hot water in the shower - just like in the 15th century... Advised the owner through VRBO text but never got any response to fix the issue before we departed. Otherwise a 5-star experience.

Near Perfect Apt in a Terrific Location

A quiet gem in a busy city

This was a new location for us to stay in the city. We have stayed in Florence more than a dozen times. It is well positioned between the Duomo and Santa Croce with a grocery store and plenty of wonderful restaurants around the corner. Great location, quiet, well appointed, and good bed

The bed was very comfortable. Kitchen had all cutlery and utensils you could want. It even had a blender and toaster which is more North American. Grocery store two blocks away at local not tourist prices. And excellent restaurants and pubs nearby. While it has a lot of late night action close by by the thick walled building kept the sound out so much we slept in!

Location, location, location. Only 5' walk to Duomo and no more than 15 min walk to heart of shopping district. Shower is as small as it looks but would go back.

Wonderful Florence Home

The home was perfect for my wife and I to stay in on our honeymoon! The location was so amazing being walking distance from basically every single tourist destination in Florence and specifically very close to the main cathedral. The home was well stocked and very clean. The 2-in-1 washer/dryer was very convenient for laundry as Florence was only the first leg of our trip.

Fantastic 6 day stay

This location could not be better for walking through all of Florence. That includes groceries, cafe and wine window 100m away to the pizza, Italian restaurant and outdoor beer square just across the street. So many museums, churches and historic sites so close by as well (including Day trips and local tours on bike and golf cart). Great communication from our hosts on check in and out. Thanks for a wonderful stay in your city!

Great location in Florence

The apartment was charming and clean! The bed was very comfortable and the AC worked great as it was very hot in July. It was centrally located to the leather markets, restaurants, train station, and other attractions. I would absolutely stay there again. It was also great to have a washer and dryer. Would have liked a few more towels and toilet paper. The bathroom was a little tight but an overall great experience.

Beautiful Stay

Thanks so much for the beautiful stay in Florence! The hosts were very helpful and attentive with all communication prior to and during our stay. The apartment is so spacious and convenient to the Duomo and so many great restaurants and locations. The check in process was wonderful, easy, and convenient. The hosts left us a wonderful welcome present and there was nothing we were left wanting. Will absolutely be recommending this place to friends and family who will be staying in Florence in the future!

Great location- gracious hosts

We are in our late seventies and this ground floor apartment was perfect. In a vibrant area with many cafes, markets and restaurants but literally 10 minutes walk to the Duomo and all adjacent sites. Yet the spread totally quiet. Francesco met us with a bottle of wine and snacks and showed us the apartment and walked me through the neighborhood to see the restaurants atms markets etc. He couldn’t have been nicer.

Quaint Apartment in Florence City Center

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Florence in April- May (12 nights) at this apartment in the center of Florence. There are a number of great restaurants within a two or three minute walk. All of the many churches and museums that we planned to visit were within walking distance. The owners were there to greet us when we arrived and came to the apartment to help us call a cab to the airport when we completed our stay. Linens and towels were exchanged during our stay, which was not expected, but very much welcomed. We were welcomed on arrival with a nice bottle of wine with a supply of snacks and water. We could not have asked for a better vacation. Thank you Francesco, Mirta, and Enrico for your allowing us to use your apartment. CIAO

Magnificence in Florence

Perfect location to visit key sights in Florence. Easy access by car to front door. Parking across the street did not work for first day due to heavy weekend traffic and a full parking garage. I parked elsewhere and moved the car the next day to the "Parking Duomo" lot across the street. Very friendly and helpful parking staff. Excellent apartment in all aspects.

This property is in an excellent location, easily walkable to everthing (the Duomo is barely 5 minute walk). It is very quiet as was advertised. Kitchen and bedroom were well appointed and comfortable. We had 2 complaints: the couch is uncomfortable and the shower stall is tiny. Everything worked well in the bathroom, especially the on demand water heater, it’s just small. That said, I can recommend the property and would stay there again.

Great place!

What a great apartment. Ground floor was a big help with Kristy’s mobility issues, and right in the heart of Florence. Check-in came with a full tour and answered so many questions. When I needed a cab they even called them for us. The kitchen was well equipped and we made a couple of lovely meals with stuff bought 40 meters from the Flat. When we return we will check the availability here first!!

Great location in Florence

Check in was very simple. We were greeted upon arrival after parking rental car in parking garage next door- host was very helpful with instructions small kitchen but who goes to Italy to cook? Porch outside is small but a decent quiet spot to have coffee and a smoke- I would upgrade porch a bit - the shower is small but we read reviews so was aware - great location with walking to all sites 🇮🇹

My husband and I were looking as an investment a flat which was in the heart of Florence, in an ancient building and we fell in love with the beams and joists of this flat which are thypical of the Florentine style. This is also the reason why we tried to give Sant' Egidio a warm touch mantaining a very relaxing atmosphere.
