Comfortable house

The accommodation was really charming and comfortable. It is perfectly located at only 20 min from Victoria station and about 30 min by bus from the main sites in London. Gina was really sweet and we enjoyed time spent in her flat. She was also flexible for the hours of arrival and departure. Thanks !!

Good location in a great neighborhood.

We stayed here for a few days while visiting London. It was close to buses and about a 10 min walk to Clapham Junction station, so it was pretty easy to get around. The neighborhood was great and the flat was clean and spacious. A few things to note: there’s not a private entrance, the bathroom is outside the main flat (it’s still private, it’s just not directly connected) and there’s only a bathtub with a handheld shower nozzle, not a full stand up shower.

Attractive Home Base

We enjoyed the spaciousness and tasteful decor during our six day stay. The nearby bus and train connections made exploration easy.

Nice flat in a great location

Gina's flat is very homey and warm and welcoming. We surprisingly slept great on the bed all week. As noted in other reviews as you have to climb a few flights of stairs to get to the flat - if you have mobility issues this probably isn't the flat for you - the stairs didn't bother us any, however. The flat is actually the top floor in Gina's house and she resides below so also not for partiers since she's right below you but my husband and I didn't mind at all and we actually thought Gina was very accommodating and very helpful and lovely to deal with and we felt right at home in the flat. Kitchen was well stocked and there is a coffee press for those wanting coffee. Great proximity to pubs, restaurants, grocery stores and the main overground/underground station Clapham Junction making it a prime spot for convenience and being able to get around easily. Loved the neighborhood! A special thank you to Gina for helping us out during an unfortunate emergency we experienced on our trip!

Great little apartment in a brilliant location

We had a great time at Gina's property. The bed was comfy, kitchen had great amenities and we felt like we had great privacy. A couple of things to note for people to consider - there is no shower only a bath with a hand held nozzle - you do have to walk up 3 flights of stairs to get to the apartment so its not for those with mobility issues - the actual address is not provided to you, Gina has to send this to you so we recommend sending a message requesting this at least 24 hours before you arrive or you could end up spending 20 minutes walking up and down the street like we did. - there is no coffee machine or instant coffee so you either need to bring your own or be prepared to walk to the main street of Clapham for a takeaway (which lets me honest isnt the worst issue to have!)

Stay in Clapham

It was in a great location, close to both Wandsworth and Clapham Commons and to Clapham Junction station. The property was clean, spacious and very comfortable. There was no washing machine, which was a slight drawback for us as we were staying 11 days, but there was a launderette 15 minute walk away in Clapham Junction. There were some communication issues with HomeAway, but we were met by the owner and shown round at the appointed time. We were very happy with our stay and would come back again. Thank you.

Gina’s Great!

We loved the apartment! It’s inside an older house with a lot of character. The dressing room above the bedroom was perfect including a sink for washing hands and hangers in the closet for your clothes. The kitchen had everything we needed when we wanted to stay in and cook. The bed was very comfortable. I slept 12 hours the first night there, recovering from a long overnight flight. Clapham Junction was a short walk away, buses stop almost in front of the house. There are stores and restaurants a short walk from the house. The apartment is on the third floor so be prepared to climb. The steps to the dressing room from the bedroom are steep and narrow, but there aren’t very many of them. Overall Gina, a very gracious hostess, ensured our stay was a wonderful experience.

Well located and comfortable!

We spent 3 weeks in this flat over a very warm period. The flat had good ventilation and a sense of spaciousness, especially in the lounge room. A couch for each of us! The flat was clean, well equipped and had plenty of storage. Perhaps the lack of a direct private entry might deter some and make this flat better suited to older, quieter guests. The close proximity to Clapham Junction meant trips to the city and in our case to the Surrey countryside were very easy. Gina was a delightful host and at all times made us feel welcome, showed interest in our activities and provided assistance when needed.

A lovely stay

The fkat was homey and comfortable. Giba was a wonderful host, very pleasant and helpful. The neighborhood had several nice cafes and restaurants, especially The Round House just a block away. The flat is within walking distance to the Overground rail and links easily to the Underground. I would certainly stay here again!
