Private beachfront oasis on pristine Green Lake with 100 feet of private sandy beach and crystal clear water for swimming, fishing, and relaxing on the water..
Enjoy the quiet, relaxation and complete privacy at the end of a private dead-end road. Clean, comfortable, non-smoking, newer furnishings, 2 bedrooms each with king size bed, and all the amenities, with Verizon WiFi internet, fire pit, huge but still cozy and comfortable screened porch with comfortable outdoor seating, charcoal grill, and kayaks and canoe for guests to enjoy. Walk the beautiful blueberry lined dirt roads (pick all you want) in the neighborhood, or walk nearby at the National Fish Hatchery for walking, hiking, and enjoying gorgeous views.
Large screened in porch with beautiful views of the lake and mountains to enjoy in complete privacy surrounded by beautiful maine woods. Facing west overlooking the lake with spectacular sunset views listening to the calls of the loons looking over the mountains.
Quiet area without close neighbors. Dogs allowed with prior approval only.

Clean cabin with a well stocked kitchen. Easy check-in. We spent most of our time on the screened-in porch or on the beach and in the water. Fantastic swimming spot. The west facing view is tremendous.

Wonderful Lakeside Cabin

We had such an amazing time staying at Greenview! The cozy house was a perfect size for our family and kitchen well equipped for our needs. We enjoyed the lake every day and made good use of the kayaks and canoes. Easy drive to Ellsworth stores and Acadia for day hikes. So quiet and peaceful right on a beautiful lake! The hosts were very responsive to all of our questions. Highly recommend staying here.

Idyllic

This was our second stay at Greeview. The location could not be more ideal! The dead end dirt road means privacy in abundance and with only steps to the lake, you’ll never want to leave! There are plenty of restaurants in Ellsworth if you feel like venturing out and Bar Harbor is a short scenic drive away. This is a highly recommended spot!!

This is a beautiful cabin, with gorgeous views. It's close to lots of things to do, while also being tucked away and secluded, which was exactly what we were looking for!

Tranquil Getaway

The beach and lake were beautiful, the house was very clean and well appointed, and my family had a great time. One highlight was the large screened in porch for hanging out, eating meals, drinking coffee, and listening to the loons. Can't wait to go back!

Our stay on Green Lake was just lovely! The cottage was exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway and the lake access, views, and sunsets were unbeatable!! Beautiful lakefront

Great little cottage. Loved the large screen porch. Use of kayaks and items in the bunk house (umbrellas, beach chairs, etc.) was a great bonus. The beach and view are fantastic! Thank you.

Idyllic setting

Absolutely wonderful place to stay to unwind and relax. Beautiful lake views. Seating around the fire pit and down at the lake added to the comfort. Access to kayaks to explore the lake… nice touch. Loved listening to the loons! Sunsets amazing!! Easy access to bar harbor!! Would definitely return!!!

Charming & cozy

We came with our dog over Memorial Day weekend and had a great stay. We wanted to relax away from the noise of the city but also be close enough to Bar Harbor. The cabin has everything you need. I could have stayed on the porch all the day! The sunsets were great too. Thank you for having us!

Perfect location to get away. Totally private. Excellent for dogs. Easy walk in sand beach would be perfect for kids.Great sunsets. Only suggestion would be upgrade the kayak as the single one is quite tippy

A Little Slice Of Lake Life....

Our family of four (fur babies included) loved our stay. Hearing the loons everyday was amazing! And being literally steps from the beach was beyond convenient with little ones. The house was super clean and comfortable, and we never needed A/C with the windows open. The location was amazing as we were minutes to downtown Ellsworth, and less than an hour to Acadia National Park. Would very much come back.

Great Retreat

We loved staying at Greenview, it was a lovely cabin on a beautiful lake tucked into a beautiful forest. Great carriage like roads that allowed us to walk through the woods with stunning views of the lake. The cabin was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The hosts were friendly and easily reachable to answer any questions. It was close enough for us to drive to the amazing National Park, Acadia, each day for some fun hiking and walking. After a day outside enjoying Acadia, we returned to a quiet evening at Greenview.

Allison and Joseph live with our two springer spaniels, Ben and Herbie. We married in 2004 in Rhode Island. We both still work full time and love to travel, especially with our pups to Maine.

Why they chose this property

We love the town of Ellsworth for its beauty, and quiet charm. It remains a tourism centered area without the busy traffic, and crowds of Bar Harbor. We started off renting seasonally here and finally found the property we were looking for. As soon as we saw the waterfront view and our first sunset we knew Green view was for us. We still have trouble figuring out why anyone would want to rent anywhere but Green Lake.

What makes this property unique

Green View has the most perfect 100 foot cresent shaped sandy beach. The waterfront is a sandy, clear, with gradual entry. The water is so clear it feels as if you are looking at an aquarium at the fish and wildlife below you. We feel we have one of the best lots on the lake!
