This property was absolutely stunning, and the cabin exceeded our expectations. Definitely recommend this to anyone looking to stay somewhere with amazing private views, while also being so close to Telluride!
Amazing, secluded mountain view perfectly situated between Ridgeway and Telluride to enjoy the San Juans! We loved the cabin for enjoying mountain views, weather and wildlife while staging for hiking! The owner was responsive and very helpful!
Beautiful property, excellent secluded location. We had a lovely weekend "away from it all". We would highly recommend this property, it's just as advertised and we had a very comfortable stay.
Nice property, picturesque location with privacy and close to surrounding towns of Telluride, Ridgway & Ouray. Owner was responsive throughout the stay, property was well equipped.
Had a great time at the property and exploring nearby towns! The house is beautiful and secluded. Only complaint was that the cleaners showed up at 8 am when checkout was at 10 am.
As always we are enchanted with this special cabin! We love the serene, remoteness that creates such a relaxing stay! Thank you to Charles for sharing this fantastic oasis with again and many more to come!!
This cabin was a lovely place to stay—secluded and very peaceful. The abundance of wildlife, including deer and wild turkeys, was a welcome surprise. A perfect spot to get away from it all.
We loved our stay in Placerville. We wanted to stay away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Telluride as we had our dog with us and wanted to give him space to run around, but be close enough to enjoy Telluride and this was the perfect place to do that. The property was clean and comfortable and the perfect retreat for our family and friends.
We had a wonderful time at the cabin. The views were amazing, and we had a fun time exploring with the kids and our dog! Thanks for sharing your house with us.
We absolutely loved our stay and can’t wait to come back. This is an amazing property. We enjoyed hiking the trails around the property, lounging in the hammock while soaking up the breathtaking views, and cooking in the well stocked kitchen. Charles was very responsive and accommodating. Internet and phone worked great, cabin was clean and cozy. Exceeded our expectations
We loved this cabin and the property. The view is amazing and loved seeing deers, chipmunks, wild turkeys, bunnies and hearing the elk in the distance. Would love to return someday.
A wonderful stay at an extraordinary property! The hosts were excellent to communicate with. The drive up to the property is so beautiful and the property is unique and experience driven.
Me and my partner stayed a few days with our 2 dogs (rottie mix and pyrenees mix), and couldnt have asked for a more pleasant setting. We spent our mornings and evenings on the deck, listening to and watching to the birds, as well as the deer/elk that came down to the
The views right from the deck were even better than we imagined. Just a beautiful area, very priviate, and with several unique features and places to sit and hang out (teepee, greenhouse). We've stayed all over Colorado with our dogs and highly recommend this property.
We chose to stay because my boys wanted to be able to fish. Unfortunately, the pond wasn’t stocked and full of algae, which led to more driving to fishing than I had hoped. We loved the sauna and the house was cozy with beautiful views.

We apologize about the low pond, it has come to a surprise to us this year as well. The Rockies have been having prolonged drought and poor snow fall for past couple of winters which usually fills up the pond to about 2 acres and 20 feet deep. We are removing mention of the pond from the VRBO site all together. I’m addition if such drought continues we will just be taking our property off VRBO. Climate change sucks!
Our stay was wonderful and the cabin was perfect. Just far enough from Telluride to be isolated; however, close enough for a short beautiful drive. The only thing to mention is the online listing did not mention the $100.00 extra fee for a pet. I would definitely stay there again!
