About the property

House, 3 Bedrooms, 3 Baths, Sleeps 6

At 28 Big Leaf, you will enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room table for six, and a spacious living room with a wood-burning fireplace. You'll even have eight SHARC passes and a private hot tub!

This home is just four miles away from the tennis courts and golf courses at Sunriver. Head to Bend 17 miles away, or take the shuttle (for a small fee) to Mt. Bachelor 23 miles off.

There is an extra-large wall-mounted flatscreen TV located in the downstairs living room, so you won't have to miss that game. WiFi is available, and there is a beautiful deck located right outside the dining room with a nicely landscaped backyard. It is a great place for children to play while you relax outside on the deck.

In the fair weather months, enjoy beautiful deck furnishings and a propane barbecue for entertaining, or cook inside in the full kitchen. Badminton games, bikes, scooters, and snow toys are in garage for summer and winter use.

This newly remodeled three-bedroom, three-bath home offers you a downstairs master bedroom with a queen bed, vaulted ceilings, an extra large Jacuzzi tub, and access to the deck where the hot tub is located. The two remaining bedrooms are located upstairs.

With room for six, the bedrooms consist of a queen-size bed in one room and a full and a twin in the second; they share a hall bathroom with a tub. The new slate and tile depict scenes from the cliff drawings in the Columbia Gorge. A private washer/dryer cuts down on messes.

Spend hours on the 40 miles of paved bike trails, or cast a line in a nearby lake to catch fish for supper. Don't forget your camera—this area is beautiful!

Enjoy your stay at this lovely Central Oregon vacation rental.

About Vacasa of Central Oregon

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

great 5 night stay

 • 5 of 5

The home was wonderfully appointed (laundry & dishwasher detergent, pool and bath towels etc) and was very comfy and inviting. Beautiful backyard. Few minor complaints. When we signed up for house VACASA said it had 4 bikes, but closer to
stay reminder reservations said only 2 bikes (and as home accommodated 6 folks, that was disappointing to us 5 guests). I wish the home had better instructions on how to use backyard umbrella (we never used it as we couldn't figure it out) and about pool/fitness center access ( We discovered the North Pool is only for owners or guests accompanied by owner, we never could figure out if we could use fitness center). Also wish there were better instructions on how to use the AC, which we didn't muck with other than to put on the fan on mode in evenings. Otherwise wonderfully relaxing stay in this lovely home.

A lovely retreat

A gorgeous, well appointed home! The location and yard was especially beautiful and peaceful. Loved the layout of the home too with the master suite tucked away on the main level! Would rent again for sure!

Gorgeous home in a park-like setting

 • 5 of 5

The home has been completely renovated, which makes for a very comfortable stay. Lots of windows looking out on a gorgeous yard made the home so tranquil. We had everything we needed. There were only a couple minor issues—when I rented the home, it had four bikes, but (probably with summer preparations), two of the bikes were taken away. We ended up needing to rent a bike for two weeks, which was unexpected. The home has the most amazing patio with gorgeous furniture and a big shade umbrella. A table for eating outside would make the space perfect. Finally, while I understand the need to mask stains, the dark carpet is virtually impossible to keep clean. We had to vacuum every day. As mentioned, these are relatively minor complaints as everything else was wonderful. The location is great—very quiet and close enough to everything by bike. We loved having more than enough towels. Though it was too cold to use the SHARK passes, it was nice to have them. We would definitely rent this home again.

Good home in a quiet part of Sunriver

 • 4 of 5

One of the best homes we’ve stayed in at Sunriver. Loved the deck, the grass yard, the hammock, the location, and the home layout.

A couple of things prevent me from giving a full 5 stars:

- shower head and pressure in the master bath could use some attention. The volume of water coming out, paired with the shower head itself made for uncomfortable showers.
- expected staples (like sugar) weren’t in the house. Given how well appointed and stocked everything else was, it was a bit disappointing
- window treatments in the east facing windows in the master bedroom. I loved the amount of light that came into the house, but in Oregon summers, the sun comes up at 5:30am. Having that sun stream into your eyes is not ideal, so we had to block out the sunrise with pillows.

All of this said, I’d definitely come back again.

Owner's Response: We apologize this guest was disappointed by not having staples provided; this is not something the owner does. Maintenance has taken care of the shower. Thanks!
