Very beautiful and modern cabin located in the Laurel Mountains just down the road from Seven Springs and Hidden Valley ski resorts. This is a unique opportunity to experience the Laurel Mountains with the privacy of your own rental home. You will find this home to be a beautiful rental at an exceptionally reasonable rate.
The home has two bedrooms. The master bedroom is very large with two queen beds and a single bed. The second is a loft that has one king bed and a single bed. This bedroom overlooks the great room.
The great room is very large with cathedral ceilings and plenty of space for the guests to spread out. There are many skylights and windows to let in the natural light and the beautiful wooded scenery. There is a stone fireplace in the great room and a wood burning stove. All of the firewood is included. There is a full kitchen including all major appliances and cooking utensils. It has a dining room table with seating for eight.
There are one and a half bathrooms. The master bath has a shower with unlimited hot water, so many guests can shower without running out. The second is a powder room.
The Home is located within walking distance to Koosier lake, which has a swimming area and fishing area. Both Hidden Valley and Seven Springs resorts are a very short drive away.

This cabin was great for a group of friends who spent the weekend at Seven Springs however, it could use some work - the mattresses aren't great and the cushion on one stool in the kitchen was completely detached when I sat down. As mentioned in other reviews, the loft is best suited for children. There is a pull ladder to get up to it - fun idea but not great for adults.
One word of caution - if you are staying here during the winter or if there is a chance of heavy rain, you NEED either all wheel drive or four wheel drive. There was quite a bit a snow and ice on the dirt road and in the parking spaces when we arrived so we spent around an hour shoveling and struggling to park our cars. Also, if you have more than 3 cars you are going to run into a space problem.
It is a charming cabin - but it needs a good cleaning
The road to get up there is in need of some real work. The cabin is certainly a cute cabin. Not even one bed in the place is sleepable, no one could sleep on the mattresses you have, you really need to invest in some new ones. The whole place really needs a good cleaning, you can't expect the people who pay to stay there to really keep it up for you. The firepit is great, but the back step to get out to it is very dangerous. People should be told that the only person that can get up and sleep in the loft are children and that it is enter through a drop down in the ceiling like an old attic latch (not real accessable for an adult) It is a cabin though. Cute but needs work. Thanks for the use of the property.
Great location! Family loved the shuffle board and fire ring. Thanks for everything. We will be back!
Good location. Nice cabin. Tight parking.
Cabin was nice and exactly what we were looking for. Plenty of room for a large group of people. Unfortunately parking is very tight and the bushes around the driveway need trimmed. Without care they could scratch a vehicle. Additional parking is available a short walk away and we made it work. Septic tank needs emptied and is seeping into yard. Overall cabin was nice and what we were looking for. However not a very secluded location. The lot is small and surrounded by other cabins.
Great experience, would highly recommend this cabin for use. We had what we needed to cook on site. We roamed the area and we're away from the cabin most days, but when we returned, there was plenty of room for all 7 individuals (kids included). Great price for a fantastic cabin. Thank you.
Great cottage/cabin with all the essentials
We stayed here for 7 nights with 5 people and 2 dogs. The cabin is affordable, clean and cutely decorated, and had all the essentials including a fully equipped kitchen, dining table for 6, comfortable living room with cable (basic only)/internet/DVD player and DVDs, and beds for everyone. We enjoyed the firepit, hammock, grill and picnic table as well. However we would have enjoyed nicer bed linens and towels - don't expect hotel quality here. One cautionary note: the cabin is on a VERY rough, rocky dirt road. 4WD/SUVs will be fine but some vehicles may be unable to get to the property and may need to park on a nearby road, as we did. It is well situated for outings to a number of state and national parks and historic sites. We really enjoyed our adventures in the PA Laurel Highlands with StoneCliff as homebase.
walking distance to lake with sandy beach and fishing, walking distance to large bar/restaurant with indoor and outdoor entertainment
