Why Katherine Putnam chose Edgartown
This studio is updated for central AC and is total new construction in 2018. Pictures are from the prior studio which was slightly smaller.
What makes this Apartment unique
This is walking distance to everything in town and easy biking to great beaches. A car is unnecessary because of its proximity to everything Edgartown has to offer. It is also walking distance to public transportation to se more of the Island.

Kate was great, didn't really see her- but very accommodating and professional.
The property was perfectly sized for a couple. Edgartown is busy at the time of year, but it was what we expected. Very close to the water, shops...,etc. the property was clean and well equipped.
I am sorry I was away, but glad everything was professionally handled in my absence and that you had a good time in Edgartown.
Location was good and owner was charming. But the studio was worn out. Everything needs an update.
Good location. Thoughtful owner. However, it smells and interior is worn out. Much smaller than it appears. Silver lining is the window AC unit works.
I am sorry for the disappointment. The studio is represented as being small, as it is. However it has a new bed, new sheets, new towels and was updated with new appliances and new flooring as well as painted in the last two years. I can detect no smell that this guest references. Any hotel in the neighborhood would have a 3 night minimum at this time of year and charge double the per night price on the studio so, despite its size, it remains a relative bargain. The guests made no complaint while on the premises despite interacting with the owner and did not check out on time which created a problem with cleaning crew.
Quaint studio in a quiet neighborhood
This studio is located in a very quiet location within a few blocks of downtown. Great little kitchen with everything you need. The bed was very comfortable and the bath towels were amazing! We used the Chromcast on the TV and it worked great. Def would stay there again!
We are so glad you enjoyed your stay. I hope it carries forward. Best wishes for your future happiness.
Fine for one night.
Not much privacy. A/C didn't work. TV didn't work. Fine for one night for one person to explore the island. Host was very accommodating.
We are sorry the guest was disappointed. We had numerous contacts with the guest who never asked about AC or TV during his stay. We allowed him to check in early and to stay late.
We had not installed the AC unit since it was June and cool at night. A fan was provided. The AC unit is now installed since it is July.
The studio does not have cable TV although internet access is provided via Chromecast and a flat screen TV.
As to privacy, this is an intown location which impinges on everyone's privacy. We have always thought the tradeoff worthwhile, but some may value that less.
Close to everything and easy to get to!
My young daughter (age 7) and I stayed in Katherine's studio apartment in Edgartown for a week in mid-July, as part of a longer vacation to the Boston area. This was the perfect location and size of unit for us -- we were only about four blocks from Main Street and all the shops and restaurants, but it was quiet and peaceful as well. Typical of the area, it is an older building, but it was very neat and clean. Nice fluffy towels, even the beach towels, and all the supplies needed for a studio apartment -- I cooked breakfast every day in the kitchen and even made a lobster dinner one night. Katherine lives next door, and was friendly and helpful with ideas for beaches, restaurants, etc. This is a great place for those who love and appreciate the historic residential neighborhoods of Edgartown -- the Martha's Vineyard Museum is half a block away, and we enjoyed learning about the seafaring history of the island talking with the staff there. I would definitely stay there again.
