About this property

The Howard Johansson

This is a garden apartment with a view. Tastefully decorated with a modern kitchen equipped with all your basic needs including three full size stainless steel appliances and a dining table. You will find a two large sofas, one is a queen size sofa bed, gas fireplace, ottoman, flat screen TV, desk and task chair, and wifi connectivity in the living room. In the bedroom you will find a two twin size beds placed side by side = king size bed, full size dresser, two night tables, two lamps and a full length mirror. There is a three fixture, bright bathroom. There is a covered patio with BBQ for your exclusive use and shared fenced back yard. There is a shared laundry room and parking for up to two vehicles (tandem). We live upstairs and will be more than happy to help with directions or recommendations as well as assistance with public transit if requested. The location is a short drive to shopping, parks, lakes, beaches, and directly on transit route. 40 minutes drive to your choice of three local ski hills and 90 minute drive to Whistler.

Just like home
Comfortable, spacious, fully-equipped kitchen. Modern bathroom, lots of space and lovely views. Conveniently located to shops, restaurants and the sky tram.

Great location with homely feel
The place is in a lovely neighborhood, benefits from amazing view and easy access to SkyTrain (~15min walk as opposed to what Google suggests). The owners were welcoming, friendly and didn't mind answering questions or helping with advice. Their home, or at least the part that you rent, is very spacious and has a nice cozy open plan living room/kitchen with comfy sofa. Having a fireplace was also nice and convenient. It wasn't cold inside, but if you just came from a walk outside and needed to warm up, it made a huge difference. Overall a very pleasant experience staying with Gina and Peter. We're not entirely sure we'll have the opportunity again, but would definitely recommend them.

Incredible Home Away From Home
The VIEW is stunning! To wake up to the mountains every morning seemed like being in a movie. No photograph can do it justice. Gina is a wonderful hostess - very approachable, quick to respond, and just an all-around lovely human being. The rooms are spacious and decorated tastefully. Make sure to read the instructions for the fireplace, and you will be cozy whenever you wish. Excellent kitchen with everything you need, including coffee & tea - just bring groceries! Shower pressure is to die for!!! It’s one of the most important parts of a stay, and they nailed it 😁 Nice quiet family neighbourhood, but a very quick drive anywhere. Great to have off-street parking there. Loved having laundry facilities available on a schedule - helped us a lot! Very quiet, exceptionally clean, well-maintained property. The next time we visit our daughter and son-in-law, we will definitely be booking here again. If you’re on the fence, jump down and book this before it’s gone!

We are a loving three person family living on the property. We enjoy skiing and all types of summer sports. The man of the house is from Stockholm and fluent in Swedish, Italian and English.

Why they chose this property

This is a lovely family oriented community. Walking distance to one of the largest shopping centres in Greater Vancouver and close and all amenities. Located on the bus route as well.
