Exactly what we needed

No frills, nothing fancy, but a great place to stay if you plan to be out and about in Miami or the beaches. We loved the porch! Great responsive host

Wonderful apartments. Has everything you could ask for and more. Area is very convenient to Shopping walking, restaurants. Only a few minutes to the beach. All in all it was a great week host was very accommodating.

Dirty unsafe terrible experience

When I arrived at the property, I attempted to reach the owner who did not respond for 2 days. At that time there were people doing drugs outside and the front door wasn’t secure. I felt very unsafe. VRBO attempted to contact owner and no response. The place was dirty and had mold on doors vents and windows. The towels were dirty or stained. It was gross. It is not in a good neighborhood. Ended up only in the property for a few hours before VRBO helped me with a hotel after confirming my above complaints. Do not stay here!

Convenient and reasonable

Convenient to Fort Lauderdale, Miami, Everglades and Hollywood areas. Convenient washer and dryer. Oven display is broken making it difficult at best. Couldn't find Netflix as stated in instruction notebook. Small but comfortable. Coffee, soap, paper towels, dishwashing detergent, laundry detergent, and hair shampoo were all included. Beach chairs for use also available. Bring your own toll fare transponder if driving!

Highly Recommend!

We had a very positive experience renting this property. It was exactly as advertised, spacious and extremely clean. Apartment was well equipped and the beds were fairly comfortable. Robert was very helpful and offered to come over to bring an extra fan.

DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY!

On Saturday, September 4, 2021 at around 1:00PM, my wife, myself and a family friend approached this property and immediately thought that not only did the area look sketchy, but also the property itself. We held out hope that the inside of the property would be nice, attempting to not judge a book by its cover. Here are the following reasons not to book this property: (1) The unit was not clean; the owner later told us that he cleans the property himself, so he had faith in its cleanliness -- yet, he is charging a cleaning fee. (2) The unit had the presence of some odor and/or airborne allergen that caused my family member to start to have an allergic reaction. (3) The advertisement boasts that there is a washer and dryer in-unit, yet there is a DO NOT ENTER sign on the door where the washer and dryer is located. (4) There were bugs in the unit, which is a hazard for small babies and just disgusting overall. (5) The owner of the unit is VERY UNRESPONSIVE. The company VRBO informed us that they sent the owner an email regarding our concerns and they encouraged him to follow up with us. He never followed up with us and we were waiting in limbo. (6) We requested a refund from the owner and he stated that he would be willing to do so if we changed up our opinions on the property -- we were not willing to do that. Why you should not rent from VRBO overall: (1) This is a terrible company that does not care about the consumer whatsoever. PLEASE DO NOT RENT FROM VRBO. (2) The customer service is terrible, there is actually no support from VRBO at all. This was one of the worst experiences we’ve ever experienced regarding the housing-sharing community. Do not ever book with VRBO. My family will be filing formal complaints against the owner of the home and against VRBO as well with the Better Business Bureau and with the Miami-Dade Office of Consumer Protection.

Great place to stay

We came back to this property again for a short stay to work and study for kids. Internet connection is stable. Place is close to airport. Overall a wonderful experience.

Great property and great locations

The location was great. It was near downtown and close to beaches. The house was great. We had a lovely time. The plates needs to be changed as most of them are chipped on the side. Robert was great to work with and very flexible and understanding.

Great place and owners.

Easy check in. Property was very nice and well-equipped. Reasonably close to beach. Owner was easy to get hold of when we needed a smoke alarm battery provided. We really loved it.

Great place to stay

We had a slight hiccup with checking in but Robert rectified the situation immediately and was more than helpful and communication during the stay couldn't have been better!! The suite served our purpose perfectly! Great parking and very fast internet service. Beds were very comfortable. Some minor banging around and kids having fun from the people in the front part of the house but was completely tolerable. Overall a great place to stay and I would certainly not hesitate to stay here again!

Exactly as pictured!

We had a lovely stay. The home looks exactly like the pictures. We enjoyed the Netflix access and the mattresses were comfortable. Both bedrooms had queen size beds. The house was very clean and well kept. The couch/futon seats 2 adults, which was fine for us since only two of us watched television. It was a 5 minute drive to restaurants and a 10 minute drive to the beach. There were plenty of beach equipment and beach towels. The A/C worked great too (very important for me and my mother-in-law)!! We really liked Hollywood Beach. It was not as crowded as Miami and the beach was just as beautiful!! As a side note, most houses we have stayed in supplied bath soap and shampoo, but this house did not. It wasn’t a problem since we brought our own, but it would probably be nice for future guests to know it is not supplied.

Just what we needed.

This was perfect. The check in process was seamless. The house was spotless. Robert was very prompt with answering any questions we had. Plenty of amenities. Very quiet area but just steps away from many restaurants. Short drive to Hollywood beach. Will be returning to this location on my next trip to South Florida. Thank you for your Hospitality Robert!
