Home On Large, Private Lot W/heated Salt Water Pool And Distant Harbor Views

This home is located on over an acre in Madaket on a private, professionally landscaped lot, less than one mile from the beach. There is a heated saltwater pool and state of the art kitchen. The bus to town is right out front, and the house is right along the bike path. Several decks allow you to enjoy the views and sunshine. There are two large screen TVs, wifi/high speed internet, two master bedrooms, each with its own bath, one bedroom with a queen, and one room with a trundle bed. The later two bedrooms share a bath. These four bedrooms are on the first floor. The second floor is a great room with vaulted ceiling, which includes kitchen, family and dining areas and beautiful sweeping views of the ocean and surrounding areas. You will enjoy central air, a gas grill, two dishwashers, ice maker and refrigerator drawers. There is also a finished basement with its own bathroom and a pool table.

Amazing property!

This house was beyond perfection - clean, comfortable and absolutely beautiful! The location was perfect to access the best beach in town - Madaket. The hosts were responsive and helpful every step of the way. Loved it and can’t wait to go back!

This house is amazing. It is situated on a gorgeous lot, the perfect distance from town and the beach! The pool is lovely, and a welcomed spot to finish off the day. The inside of the house is wonderful, and is equipped with everything you need for a great vacation!

Great family holiday

Our party of 5 adults and 3 kids really enjoyed our stay at the house. It is in a great location for families, with only a short bike ride (on the safe cycle paths) to Madaket beach and to (the excellent) Millie’s restaurant, plus the nearest bus-stop is 50 yards from the end of the drive and takes you into the heart of the town. The house has been recently built to a very high standard, with top quality appliances through the kitchen, bathrooms etc. and there was plenty of space for everyone, including a lower ground where the kids could watch TV or play games without disturbing the adults! We understand that this was the first summer that the house has been rented, and so it perhaps lacked some of the typical final touches that you see in similar rentals at this level, but the owners were very quick to organise the delivery of an iron and some beach chairs when asked, and no doubt the house will be added to over time. Overall, we had a wonderful family holiday here in an excellent property.

My husband and I grew up in Massachusetts. I have been visiting Nantucket since age 13; I brought my husband here in 1992 and he fell in love with Nantucket too. We ended up getting married here in 1995. This is where we come to relax and find peace and quiet. Our kids love it here too.

Why they chose this property

This house is new, immaculate, and has central air and a pool, as well as easy access to the bike path and bus. It also has incredible privacy from the road. With the windows shut and the air on, you will hear no noise from outside. We also put in window treatments in the bedrooms that block all the morning light, so you can sleep late!

What makes this property unique

All the convenience of access to bus and beach with lots of privacy and your own pool. beautiful sunsets and stargazing. Great kitchen.
