Have you always wanted to visit historic St Augustine, have a child attending Flagler College, planning to come to town to enjoy a show at The Amp or just want to relax on beautiful St Augustine Beach??? Looking forward to experiencing the Nights of Lights?? Answered yes to any of those - then this is the place to stay!

Island South Retreat is conveniently located for historic downtown explorers; Anastasia State Park visitors, St Augustine Beach goers, The Amp Concert patrons or Flagler college guests.

The condo includes an updated and friendly kitchen with stainless steel appliances with many small kitchen appliances stored in the cabinets. You can serve up a frothy hot coffee in the morning and enjoy a frosty margarita in the afternoon. The kitchen opens up to the spacious dining and living room. The unit boasts two bedrooms with two full baths and a separate walk-in laundry room. The master bedroom is furnished with a king -sized bed and the second bedroom has a queen-sized bed. There is a full-sized air mattress provided for additional sleeping arrangements for children. Both bedrooms and the living room include large sliding glass doors providing beautiful natural light. The living room and master bedroom both open up to the spacious and green lanai and pathway to the community pool (no hot tub) and walk-over to the beach.

The condo is located in the heart of St. Augustine Beach close to numerous local restaurants, the beach, volleyball courts, pickleball courts, fishing pier, historic downtown St. Augustine, St. Augustine Lighthouse, Anastasia State Park, The Amp concert venue, Flagler College, and many more exciting places.

This was an amazing place to stay! The condo was beautiful, clean and so close to the beach and pool. Owners were great at communicating with us before, during, and after our stay. We love the beach didn’t feel too populated, but then we could go to town to enjoy the crowds if you wanted.

Great beach getaway

Fantastic property that has everything you need for a beach getaway. This is the fourth time we've stayed in Bert and Lisa's place and have loved it every time. They go above and beyond to make it feel like home with all the perfect details to make your stay enjoyable. We've already booked again for next summer and can't wait to get back. We think of it as our home away from while in St. Augustine.

This property was absolutely perfect for a beach get away. All the amenities you need are provided. Pool access was also nice when you dont want to get sandy! The rooms were clean and the furniture cozy. Close to downtown Historical district of St. Augustine and many other attractions. Nothing like a drive down A1A!! I would definitely stay at this property again.

Perfect stay for graduation!

The condo was perfect for our four day stay in St. Aug to celebrate my daughter's graduation from Flagler College! Lisa was an incredible host, very responsive and accommodating, The unit had everything we needed and we loved the location, the grounds, the pool, and easy beach access!

Bert is a local well-respected dentist. He has lived here in St. Augustine Beach for over 40 years. Bert enjoys surfing and spending time with friends. Lisa is a recently retired Program Specialist with the St Johns County School District for over 30 years. She spends her free time practicing yoga and Pilates , doing yardwork or enjoying beautiful St. Augustine Beach with her Brittany Spaniel, Izzy and Double Doodle, Bella. Bert and Lisa have four adult children and two grandsons. They enjoy traveling to Costa Rica, Hawaii, and Central America for the sun, surf, and relaxing atmosphere.
