About Kenneth Hinton
We are life long residents of Ocean Springs. Our town is one of the best kept secrets on the Gulf Coast, drawing travelers from all around because of it's quaintness, old moss covered Oaks, and beautiful man-made beaches. We believe you will enjoy visiting our quaint little town as much as we enjoy living here! We live right next door and enjoy our downtown neighborhood! It's a jewel!
Why Kenneth Hinton chose Ocean Springs
Turtle Crossing is tucked into the heart of Ocean Springs, walking or biking distance to shops, restaurants, beaches, and local art galleries. Come enjoy a stroll to downtown and breath in the beauty of magnolias and magnificent oaks along the way! You wont have to drive far for anything that you may need during your stay. Many places are within walking distance.

Exceptional location, immaculate housing
Ken and Teena have thought of everything to make your stay relaxed. We were just a couple older Yankee's on our first trip along the gulf. I can't say enough about Ocean Springs being the greatest place for exploring the coast for the first time, or returning each year to feel as if you have always lived here. K & T personalize the visit like you have always known them. This location is a short walk to Government Street, which is the center of town and the restaurant area. We arrived a day before the local Mardi Gras parade, and as our first experience at that, it was exceptional... Lot's of live music of various types along Government St during our visit. Turtle Crossing is in the center of it all, and you won't want to go back home.
They do have wi-fi, which we noticed has been reported wrong. It's slow, but that's just how it is in the South. Every size of bikes are in their shed, if you need them. We were able to set up a couples massage while in town, and I would highly recommend that. And several yoga classes are nearby, if that's your thing.
We can't wait to go back, and we just got home today... You will feel at home.
Thanks so much for visiting our hometown and our house! We are blessed to be able to open our rental home to visitors and meet some great new friends! Love that y'all really got around to a lot of local places. Come back anytime! It was a pleasure meeting you and Carol. Stay warm!

The house is in a great location. It had everything we needed. The owners even provided a high chair for our daughter. It was great to have a washer and dryer in the house. We definitely recommend it!
A touch of southern charm
We enjoyed our week at the Turtle Crossing. Everywhere we went we experienced true southern hospitality.
The house was spotless with plenty of room. Everything you needed was provided. A nice touch was the small coffee bar.
The house was located a short walk to shopping, restaurants and the man made beach. It was close to Biloxi and Gulfport for sightseeing trips. New Orleans was also within reach for a day trip.
The owners, Kenny and Teena were very friendly and helpful.
The only detriment was that the internet was occasionally intermittent, probably the fault of the local provider.
We would definitely stay here again next time we’re in the area.
Super location with friendly and responsive owners!
We really enjoyed our weekend stay at the Turtle House with our kids! Tina was very welcoming and friendly. The house was perfect and within easy walking distance to everything on Government street...we had a blast! We will definitely be back!
Clean and comfortable in a great location
FYI there is no wifi in the house! The "Internet" amenity they refer to must be the Roku device on the TV that you can sign into your own Netflix, Prime etc accounts to watch movies, which was definitely welcome, but don't forget to download your Kindle books before you get there! Also bring your own Beach towels!! You can't take a towel outside of the house. The house itself is very cute and clean and close to everything and my aunt and I really enjoyed just spending time together and exploring Ocean Springs! Thank you for letting us stay!
Thanks for staying with us. Glad y'all enjoyed OS. It is a fun town! Yes, we do have internet in the rental. The internet router is located next to the DVD player under the living room tv. The Roku sticks in the two tv's uses the internet to stream movies. I am sorry if you had problems with connecting to it. Wish you had let us know while you were here instead of after you left! We surely would have been glad to come next door to help you get connected. There are instructions and passwords in our info book on the kitchen counter and our contact info for any issues as well. We supply many extra things in the rental, beach towels we don't supply. Thanks for bringing that suggestion to us! We do have 4 pop up chairs that are allowed to be brought to the beach that were in the closet. We do supply a good quantity of linens for in house use. Just didn't want them destroyed by beach and outside use! So, again, thanks for mentioning beach towels.

Great little cottage in a great location!!
We had a wonderful month in Ocean Springs. We thoroughly enjoyed this pristine cottage which was perfect for my wife and myself, but was the right size to host our adult son too. The high ceiling in the living room makes the living area seem extremely spacious. It is well appointed with comfortable furniture for tv and games playing. The Hintons are wonderful, friendly hosts who are right next store and eager to assist in any way possible. We enjoyed the festivals and happenings in Ocean Springs and Biloxi. When we return to Ocean Springs we will definitely wish to stay here again.
Thank you, Mark and Linda for staying with us! Glad you were comfortable in the house! It was a pleasure meeting you both. We are glad you enjoyed the coast! Thanks so much for the Canada mittens, maple candy and syrup (was wonderful with our pancakes)! Come back to see us again!

We are just a short walk (5 or 6 blocks) from many shops, restaurants, and bars located in the heart of Downtown OS. One Mile to front beach, a little further to East beach!
