Beautiful Lakefront Home with Private Beach

Rustic lakefront home ideally located for exploring historic New England. The house is at the end of a private road on a 1 acre wooded lot. The house is on a wooded peninsula and surrounded by water on three sides. Most rooms include water views. There is a sandy beach that includes a dock. The gradual slope of the beach is ideal for young children. The house sleeps 8 in bedrooms and has a queen sofa bed in the living room. There is easy access to Boston via car or public transportation. The house features a spacious great room with gas fireplace, large dining room and a fully equipped gourmet kitchen.

Summer and Fall are excellent times of year to enjoy swimming in the lake or relaxing and enjoying the reflection of the fall foliage in the pond. In winter there is easy access to trails for cross country skiing. Downhill skiing & snowboarding is available at Wachusett Mountain Ski Area which is a scenic 30-minute drive. New England Sport Center is a short drive down 290. The house is also convenient to the many colleges and medical facilities in the Worcester area.

Please note this is a multi-level house. There is a flight of stairs to get to the main level and a small number of steps between areas within the house. If you have mobility issues this would not be a good fit for you.

Beautiful property and well cared for. Host was friendly and actively try to help. Kitchen was fully equipped. We enjoyed our stay it very much. Note:Being your own shampoo and bath soap. Bring charcoal for the BBQ grill.

Lovely location! My grandson had his 1st fishing experience! He's 18 months old and wore the same fishing vest his mom and my other kids wore! Unfortunately I wasn't feeling well so I spent a lot of this relaxing on the small very sweet porch off the master bedroom. Absolutely healing! In addition, I had to make a trip to the ER, the host was very helpful making sure I got to a good ER. UMASS was wonderful. My afilt children found great activities . A lovely farm that the grandbaby and everyone loved. And a indoor outdoor nature spot with playgrounds, informational kiosks. Wonderful stay!

We've been coming here for years! Lovely home and beautiful pond. We love sitting out on the peninsula. There is some traffic/construction noise. However, also lots of birds/wildlife. We've seen great blue herons, ducks, beavers, etc. Love the large dining room table with a view of the pond. Debra is a wonderful host!

Debra was a gracious host and a wonderful communicator. Had a small issue with house due to weather. She had the handyman on site to address within an hour and all was good. Big house. Big kitchen.
