About this property

The Beach Place. Amazing Ocean Front Views!

Welcome to The Beach Place at Hatteras High!

Here you will have DIRECT ocean front views from the rear balcony and distant sound views from the front porch.

There is NO ELEVATOR, so you will need to be able to navigate 2 flights of stairs. There is a LUGGAGE LIFT located between the two stairwells (This amenity is not guaranteed. If you cannot carry your luggage up two flights of stairs, please do not reserve this condo).

There are two bedrooms, each with a QUEEN bed. There are two bathrooms, each with a tub/shower combo. One bedroom has an ocean view, sliding glass doors to the balcony, an ensuite bath, and a smart tv.

NO BED SHEETS OR BATH TOWELS are provided. You can bring these with you or rent from a local company. Pillows, blankets, and bedspreads are provided. The complex offers 3 free washers and 3 free dryers.

There is a QUEEN size pullout sofa in the living room. There is also has a smart tv with a dvd player. You can choose to turn on the fireplace just for the ambiance or you can set it to have additional warmth to the room.

The Kitchen includes dishes, utensils, pots, pans, cutting boards, a KEURIG and a DRIP coffee pot, wine bottle opener, mixer, crock pot, and can opener. A few starter items such as dish soap, toilet paper, and paper towels will be provided. Usually (but not guaranteed) there are coffee filters, potholders, dish towels, sponges, dishwashing pods, laundry pods, and salt and pepper on hand.

The POOL is open from mid-May until mid-October (Please confirm opening and closing dates with me). Resort amenities include picnic tables, charcoal grills, outdoor showers, and a fish cleaning station.

Please bring your beach towels. Beach chairs are provided. This is a seven-day Saturday to Saturday only rental in the summer season.

Please note that pictures might not be an accurate depiction of how the beach will be during your visit as storms and tides impact the structure of the beach daily. VRBO incorrectly advertises the walk as 9 minutes to the beach. The building and the condo are direct ocean front.

This is a NON-SMOKING and NO PETS allowed unit and facility. There is an RV park next door.

There are no refunds or rescheduling. Hatteras is an island subject to wind, rain, road flooding, beach erosion, and power outages, so please protect your vacation with TRIP INSURANCE. Make sure the insurance allows you to cancel for any reason and that it covers both trip cancellation and trip interruption.

Our ideal is to make The Beach Place a homey, 5-star condo, so that you can have the BEST VACATION! We have many repeat guests who take care of The Beach Place like it is their second home and we hope you choose to become one of them!

Everything about this place is just as listed! The view from balcony/deck is perfection - the best viewpoint for the sunrise! It’s our second time staying here and we will definitely be back. The unit is clean, kitchen is well equipped and beds are comfy!

Wonderful stay!

View was so beautiful. We saw SO many dolphins. It was cold and rainy for the majority of our stay but the condo was comfy and with such a beautiful view of the sea we didn’t mind. We had dinner at good winds and it was yummy, close and had a great view of the sunset. Even during the off season I highly recommend staying here! Nancy was a great host!

This is a great property right on the beach. One bedroom has two windows facing the ocean, providing fantastic views. We saw dolphins and enjoyed sitting on the porch for an unparalled view. The unit has all the essentials for an enjoyable stay in the OBX.

Great place to stay!

This is a great property. It was very clean and nicely furnished. It was a little bit of a drive to get to a lot of the things to do in the area but it was extremely quiet and relaxing.

I adore The Beach Place and try to make my condo a welcoming, homey, five-star vacation place. I love it there and I want those with whom I share it to love it as well.

Why they chose this property

Rodanthe has a relaxed atmosphere. The beaches do not get crowded. I like that the location is in between Nags Head and Coquina beach to the north and Avon and Hatteras to the south. I really enjoy watching the kite surfing and dolphins while here. Oceana's and Waves deli are our local favorite eating spots.

What makes this property unique

As a Dare county year-round resident. I am up to date on what is happening in the area. Because I live close by, I stay in the property when it is not rented; therefore, I usually can catch things that need repairing or replacing before my guests arrive. I have many repeat guests who take care of The Beach Place like it is also their second home. Thank you!
