Beautiful property for a perfect vacation

Great experience! Beautiful location and top notch customer service. There were minor housekeeping issues when we arrived (empty food wrappers and trash in the couch cushions). Staff were wonderful and offered a complimentary breakfast. This was simply the best location to enjoy Lake Placid. The on-site amenities were fantastic! Our three kids used the game room for hours. The bowling alley and movie theater were an added touch. We can't recommend this lodge enough!

Family fun!!

We had the best time staying in your condo. It was beautiful and everyone had a great time in the resort!! There were 12 of us- 6 kids and 6 adults and we had plenty of room. We will definitely come back! The snow storm was an added bonus. Thank you very much!

A Gem

The McKenzie dwelling is superb. It's as simple as that. Three bedrooms...sparkling clean. Sleeps ten...and we used all of the sleep areas. Total space, near the stairs and elevators. We were thrilled to return to this suite. We were not able to stay in October 2022. It was booked way too soon. We were able to book the suite for our granddaughter's Paul Smiths College graduation. The Whiteface Lodge is special to all ten of us and we plan on returning again and again. You will love it all.

Lodge and amenities were excellent.

After a few unexpected problems, children and grandchildren enjoyed their stay. The staff, from cleaning, reception, etc. we’re friendly and eager to assist. I would highly recommend this property for families.

AMAZING STAY

This was our second time at the Whiteface Lodge. The facility itself is incredible, and a wonderful place to stay for a long winter weekend. The 3 bedroom condo was all you could ask for, with numerous sitting areas and only one floor above the restaurants. Everything is close by. The bedrooms were spacious and the kitchen well equipped to cook meals. The beds were comfortable. It was an absolutely fabulous stay! The only negative, and I feel bad writing this, was that on one night of the stay, the smell of frying oil was so strong in the suite that it was almost unbearable. We hadn't noticed it until Saturday night, and that was the only time it was a problem. The temperature was zero outside, so not conducive to opening the windows to air it out. Aside from that one issue, the stay was absolutely wonderful and I would highly recommend staying here!

Condo in Lake Placid

The condo is comfortable and as advertised but somewhat dark as porches hide the sunlight. The resort and area offers many winter activities that keep little ones occupied. Ample restaurants and take-out available in the village. A nice break 'away.'

Great getaway

A group of 9 of us traveled to this property to celebrate 2 friends 40th birthdays. I’ve stayed at WFL before and just as always it was a beautiful stay. Gorgeous rooms/grounds, wonderful spa and fantastic service! A trip we will always remember.

The Northern Beauty

Our family of ten enjoyed every moment at the Whiteface Lodge. There was so much to do and see. The staff was so polite and positive that we were "spoiled" to say the least. Quite honestly, it was picture-perfect The views from our rooms were breathtaking. We are definitely returning !.

Perfect family stay!

This was a lovely resort in every way - and the suite was beyond perfect. Relaxed and comfortable - but luxurious too. The location is ideal and the rooms are spacious. Two porches that can be screened or leave the glass in. Convenient to all amenities at the resort, but quiet too. Can't say enough good about it. Thanks so much - hope to return -

Vacation

We really enjoyed our stay. It is a great place. The only issue we had was the kitchen. It wasn’t stocked with stuff like we thought it would be. We own a timeshare also at a different place and the kitchen has a lot more stuff. I should have asked before going. Overall, it was a great time and place.

Family friendly getaway

We had a great time at this property with our family. The pool and landscaping are beautiful and the staff was friendly and helpful. Due to COVID there were some limitations on the indoor facilities but we managed to get reservations in the game room and bowling alley. The kids had a great time and we will be back. Tim DiLeo from Last Hoorah made the booking process easy and was a delight to deal with. Thank you, Tim!

Amazing location. Everything about this rental exceeded expectations.

The pictures don’t do this rental justice. Much nicer. Multiple fireplaces and balconies and plenty of space for our group of 11. 4 adults and 7 kids. So much to do for the kids and plenty of adult relaxation time. The host was really accessible and made for a seem less experience!!!!

Great Stay

We had a great time at the Whiteface Lodge. Our group of two families stayed here for two nights. The kids were amazed by the size and decor of the room. The suite was spotless and very well done. Big bedrooms, fireplaces, 4 balconies/porches, one with a fireplace that allowed us to use it for game night even in February, a full kitchen and even a clothes washer (which doesn't seem like a big deal until your son spills his iced tea all over his sisters new sweatshirt) . The chocolate chip cookies provided with turndown service were a wonderful touch. The outdoor pool and hot tubs were a huge hit with the snapchat selfie taking teenagers, as was the ice rink. It is easy access to the commercial center of the village from the Lodge for shopping an dining. The only minor issue we had was that one bedroom has a balcony overlooking the main restaurant and as a result cooking and food smells were quite noticeable in the suite. Overall a memorable and highly recommended suite and property. We would return.

Great family winter escape

Tim was extremely communicative and the property was exactly as listed, if not better. The whiteface lodge is a great place to escape with the whole family. Lots of activities for everyone- including my kids personal fave, swimming and nightly s’mores by the fire. We have stayed at the Whiteface lodge previously and were pleasantly surprised by the spacious layout of this unit. Although you are there as guests of the owner, you still have access to all resort amenities. All in all a wonderful winter weekend spent for my sons 5th birthday! Thanks Tim!

Winter Dreams are made of this!

The property is the ultimate family winter getaway! We absolutely love the lodge!!! The room was perfect for our group of 9. We had plenty of room to be together and also to spread out... the only downside to the room is that it is directly above the restaurant so there is a hefty smell of the grill and the noise are slight drawbacks.

Food horrible

The food is horrible. The buffet breakfast is cold, the fruit was bad, the pancakes burnt, eggs watery. We stay at the lodge twice a year and for years now the food has gone downhill. The menu is not child friendly and prices are too high. It's sad for this type of place.

The Whiteface Lodge is the only Lake Placid property in my exclusive portfolio because when I am visiting Lake Placid there is nowhere else I would rather stay! I am an owner here at this property too. I am renting a Junior Suite, multiple 1, 2 and 3 Bedroom Suites, and two separate 3 Bedroom Grand Lodge Suites at this property.

My calendar and rates are updated daily, and I will respond to your inquiry and work with you through the entire booking process.

Because it's Awesome! If you are looking for more than just a room to lie your head down, this property has all the amenities to pamper you and your family. You can fill your entire day with everything from swimming in the pools and hot tubs to playing in the game room, watching a movie in the theater, to treating yourself to a spa treatment or taking a quick trip down to the guest only Canoe "Beach" Club. I love bringing my family here, but I also like treating my friends. The property is great for couples and large groups too. We love getting together here and each time we do it is a very special experience.
