Lobo family vacation

Perfect getaway

The lodge was better than expected. Very private, amazing setting, and beautiful views. We rented a pontoon boat for the weekend to explore this amazing lake. We will definitely be back.

Our heaven

We love Robinson Lodge and have come here since 2015. Everyone who comes with us loves it too. We can't wait to go back. Peace, quiet, relaxation every minute.

Gift to my family

We always wonder where the time goes when staying at Robinson Lodge…I give my family (children and grandkids) options to go other locations or other countries, and yet we continue to come back here year after year…It is my GIFT to my family.

Another Year!

I believe this is the 3rd year we have stayed at this property! I gave my kids the option of coming to Lake Jocassee this year or a trip to Costa Rica...We stayed another year at Lake Jocassee. A unique lake and this house is just as unique.

Relaxing with adventure!

Throughly enjoyed our week! We had 6 adults and 5 kids and did not feel cramped. The porch and dock add a lot of living space. We brought our boat that we put in at devils Fork State Park and the park allowed us to leave our truck and trailer in their parking lot for the week. We will hopefully be back!

Stellar view

The reason to rent the Robinson cabin is for the solitude and the view. But you are only 25 minutes from Cashiers. Most things in Cashiers don’t really open until ‘the season’ starts in May. We kayaked most everyday and the water was so calm. Lovely place.

Rustic and relaxing

Our family had a wonderful family vacation at Lake Jocassee in the Robinson lodge. The porch and views are outstanding. Beautiful new dock was a treat and was used daily with our jet skis and rented boat. Got a good workout daily climbing the 55 stairs from the dock to the house but I need it. Only two things would have made it absolutely perfect - two jet ski ramps on the dock and a marina on the lake.

Beautiful Location

Love this property but steps down to lake are in need of repair. I wouldn’t take an elderly person down steps in fear of them falling. This is my only concern about this property. We’ve stayed here for 2 yrs in a row and love everything else about the home. Hopefully they will install a safer set of stairs.

Great House on Lake Jocassee!

I booked this house for a birthday weekend with friends. The house is awesome! Great views and a nice rustic look to the place. The porch was where we spent all our time when we were home, including meals with the large dining table located on the porch. Lake Jocassee is just beautiful. Our favorite outing was to rent a boat and private 4 hour tour with Jocassee Lake Tours to see the waterfalls. I highly recommend this - we would have never found the waterfalls without it and our tour guide provided both history and expertize about the area. That was unexpected and made the tour even better. We went into Highlands one afternoon to shop and had a great meal at the Lakehouse Restaurant. Also highly recommend. To summarize, the trip and the house was perfect. Side note - the driveway is not for the faint of heart with the incline and curves. However, it appears that is the same for all houses there and it makes for amazing views when you get to the house!

Remote and Remarkable

This was our second stay at the Robinson Lake Front Lodge. (It would have been the 3rd if it had been available when we wanted it last year.) There is nothing else quite like it. Peaceful, quiet, and serene lodging on the most charming lake in the southeast. I was there with my wife, our adult son and daughter-in-law, and other family members. The 800sf covered front and side porch with views of lake and mountains, cushioned porch swing, other comfortable lounging, small tables, and a large dining table is the centerpiece of this property. While there is a huge dining table inside, we ate every meal outside on the porch. We trekked in all the food and drink we needed for our 8-night stay as the closest store is a bit of a drive. Only using our cars occasionally to explore the area, or go for a hike. The large dock, with another porch swing, is also a great place to hang out. Go swimming, paddle boarding, or boating from the dock. The stairs down to the dock are rough and need improvement. The host, David, was very accessible and helpful. We spent a lot of quality time together and we all felt this was one of the best family vacations ever.

The view from the porches was spectacular. Excellent dock for boats as well. Steps from dock to house were tough but it’s the mountains. Lovely time.

You will not find a better lake side location. Outstanding property and a perfect getaway if you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing vacation. Our 2nd visit and we will return as soon as possible.
