Maui's Best - Wailea Ekahi 47A

Aloha and mahalo for your interest in our spot in Paradise. Ekahi says it all. This one bedroom (with comfortable sleeper sofa), two-bath renovated unit is on the ground floor. This means the lanai is much larger than upper units. It also means that when you step off that lanai, you step onto grass. Lost of it. Our condo is a five-minute (barefoot) walk to the most wonderful of all Maui beaches; a ten-minute walk to the Shops at Wailea. Restaurants of all types are nearby. Convenient yet without the road noise of some places.2067153903Ambiance, privacy and peace. And maybe a whale or two.

The condo is often rented many months ahead of time, often repeat guests and often because of the reviews. We have many, many more reviews, just not from this site.

Nice condo but needs some maintenance

This is a nice condo. The kitchen is well stocked but it would be more convenient to have a normal height dining table inside the kitchen area with at least 4 chairs instead of just a high bistro table with only 2 chairs. At least one light is out in the kitchen. There is no shampoo, etc. in the bathrooms which is surprising for the amount being charged for the unit. The washer and dryer are functional but need cleaning/maintenance. The washer contains mold in and underneath the removeable detergent dispenser and the rubber rings at the front of the washer are coated in mold. This is not ideal for washing linens and towels in a sanitary manner. The dryer has visible sand in the glass part of the door. Once again for the amount being charged for the unit this was quite surprising and disappointing. All in all it was fine but perhaps the owners need to catch up on some basic maintenance.

Great Condo, Great Location!

We really enjoyed staying at Ekahi Village! The condo is tastefully updated with quality finishes and nice decor. It's very well-equipped for outdoor activities, and they have included just about everything you could possibly need for cooking, too - including seasonings, etc. The owners were very communicative and conscientious, which we appreciated. The condo is within walking distance of the shops at Wailea, and several beaches. The Ekahi Village grounds are expansive, beautiful, and well-kept. We definitely wished there was at least one hot tub on site. That is our only negative feedback point!

Great location in paradise

This one bedroom condo had just the right amount of space for our family of 4. One teen slept on the couch sofa and the other on a mattress on the floor. Once day hit, we’d pack up the beds and have a living space that we barely used since we were off to the beaches, pools, shopping and snorkel tours! When we cooked (kitchen had everything we needed) we would eat outside at the 4 top table and enjoy the views of the ocean in one direction and courtyard with beautiful foliage in another. Every morning we’d walk along the paved beach path and loop back home through the Shops at Wailea to grab spam musubi and fruit for breakfast at the market. Everything you could want is right here! And if it isn’t Kihei was a 30 minute walk or 5 minute drive and is such a fun surf town!

Wailea getaway

Excellent communication with owner. Property was very clean and location is great, short walk to everything - pools, beach, shops. While not directly on the water, there is a water view from the patio and a good chance of spotting humpback whales when they’re there. Gardens in the immediate vicinity are spectacular.

Perfect experience with great hosts!

My wife and I were looking for a place to stay with our 5 month old daughter for a family wedding. The rest of our families were staying within this village, so we were excited to find this property. It was perfect! Michael was fantastic and extremely prompt sending information over before we arrived—we felt effortlessly and extremely prepared before arriving. Once we arrived, access was a breeze thanks to the digital keypads, already programmed uniquely for us. Not only does the unit have everything you need (washer/dryer, towels, pots, pans, rice cooker, blender, toaster, coffee maker and so much more—even umbrellas, snorkel and fin sets, beach toys), they even had a great “pack and play” for us to use for our 5 month old daughter—saving us the need to drag ours through the airport. 🙌 The communication was fantastic. Smart TVs in every room, good WiFi and two AC units that really helped us stay comfy! A quick walk to shops, grocery, and the beach. All this to say, we couldn’t recommend this property or the hosts enough. We will be back! Thank you!

Wonderful condo!!

My husband and I stayed at this condo for 5 nights in November. It was perfect! Large super comfortable bed, having 2 bathrooms was a huge plus, fully stocked kitchen, great lanai, washer and dryer. Check in was smooth, communication with host was great. Really could not have asked for more. Highly recommend!!!

Wow wow wow!!! This place was so perfect. My husband and I visited Maui for a quick overnight stay, and this rental is EXACTLY what we wanted. Definitely hope to book this place again in the future. It felt like a home away from home…

Must stay!

Michael’s place is absolutely perfect. He was so communicative and helpful the entire time. He had a pack-and-play ready for our toddler and connected us with a local org to rent a high chair (and whatever else you might need). The reading book in the bedroom is perfect for bedtime stories for a little one :) The condo is clean, so close to the pool and beach, and the lanai + grassy area is the best. We will definitely be back!!

Wonderful stay in Wailea

Michael's condo in Wailea was exactly as described and we had everything we needed. We also loved that it was a short walk from the beach! We would definitely stay here again the next time we find ourselves in the area.

Maui Family Vacation

We highly recommend staying at this condo for your Maui vacation. Michael was easy to deal with and replied to all of my questions promptly. There were 9 family members in 3 condos on this trip and I secured the 3 condos keeping in mind that the kids would want to be close enough to walk to each other. The green belt was great for them to play on as well. Michael's condo was clean and accommodated our family with beach chairs, sand toys, etc. and the twin aero bed was a saving grace for our little one who wanted to be in Mom's & Dad's room. Thank you Michael for making our stay in Maui so memorable.

High recommended property!

From booking to check out, Michael was incredibly responsive and accommodating including ensuring a pack and play was set up for our daughter and ordered new sheets for us! The unit is exactly as described and met all our needs. Can’t say enough good things about the village and location. Highly recommend!

Wonderful place and location!

Definitely the best part of the island to stay on - everything was close and the property was perfect. Perfect condo for 2 and wonderful amenities like the pools. Great communication with host. Would book it again in a heartbeat!

Perfect area

This rental was as advertised, within walking distance to the beach. The sofa bed is not amazing and made a lot of noise with the slightest movement but it served it’s basic purpose. Nice guide binder of the area and rental amenities. We were always out exploring Maui but coming back to the rental felt like home and the lanai was nice with a well kept garden landscaping. Our upstairs neighbors were quite loud before 9pm but they quiet down at 10pm so we were able to sleep peacefully. I would rebook again!

‘We'll be back…’

Excellent -- from the beginning to end, the owner was fantastic! The information and communication leading up to the trip was very helpful, it could not have been easier to get into and settled into the home. The place was clean and accommodating, everything we needed (and more) to help make our stay a great experience. We cooked most of our meals in the home during our week stay and it had everything we needed in the kitchen. Plenty of towels, bedding, pool/beach gear and many other things to help make the stay nice. The Pavilion is a great accommodation to this place, the easy access to the pools and beach is wonderful. The patio and green space were really nice. The beach was fantastic, great sand and snorkeling. We could not have enjoyed our stay more, thank you Michael!

Amazing Vacation

The property was beautiful and on the perfect location. We walked to the best beaches in Maui! The unit was even more lovely than described. Comfortable, bright, clean with all the necessities. Michael, the property owner was great to work with; answered all our questions, provided island insights, and made sure we were comfortable. We will definitely rebook for our next Maui vacation.

Stay at Wailea

Great property close to Grand Wailea and the shops at Wailea. There is a heated pool next to beach, very quiet and not very crowded. The condo is a 1 bedroom but very spacious plenty of room for family of four. Lots of closet space, large patio with partial view of the ocean. Great place would stay here again!

Fantastic Stay

Outstanding Property with unsurpassed mature landscaping and impeccable grounds.

From the ease of getting our questions answered from the owners, to the idyllic peaceful manicured grounds, this property was top notch! Pool, beach access, and condo amenities were top-notch. Outdoor patio was a dream to relax on. Would not hesitate to book here again!
