We had a very nice stay at this quaint little cabin in the woods! It’s in a great area that’s literally a couple miles from table rock and waterfalls. The owners are very kind and prompt about handling any concerns, as they live on site. Only criticism we have is that the listing photos could use a little update(older photos from when the unit was brand new and kind of threw us off at first), and the parking space was very tight for the size truck we have. Thank you for the hospitality!

Excellent location for our planned activities and quaint little cabin. Easy check in and out and Karen our host very hospitable and friendly when we unintentionally forget to list our pet would be joining us. The only downside to our stay was the condition of the mattress…needs replacing for a better nights sleep.

Nice little cabin peaceful and quiet did not like there was no door on bathroom and mattress needs to be replaced. Kitchen has everything you need to cook meals

An excellent little cabin. Not far from the owners if we needed help with anything but tucked away enough for privacy and to feel like we were out in the middle of the woods. It had all the necessary conveniences, while still having a very rustic vibe. Very close to numerous hiking trails and only a short drive from the town of Travelers Rest.

The cabin was located within close proximity of things we were wanting to see and experience. The layout of the cabin was perfect and decorated nicely. The outside of the cabin did not look like the pictures listed. The pictures listed may have been when the cabin was new. That itself was not an issue as cabins age over time. The only concern was the yard was not kept cleared and concerns of getting from parking space to cabin was grown up and not cleared. Overall the cabin was nice and cozy for our 2 day stay.

We have stayed there 3 times now. We love it. Quiet. Just right for two of us and our fur babies. It is our romantic anniversary getaway. Bring some food to snack on but there are restaurants and places to visit in the area. Everyone is so nice in the area. The cabin has everything you need. I do bring extra towels.

The cabin was great and has everything you need for a stay in the woods. Everything was very clean and well kept. Enjoyed our weekend getaway. It is also located perfectly for quick trips to see amazing scenery.

Location is key to peace and beauty

The cabin is located near a fabulous area for exploring the beauty of Table Rock and the surrounding area. The setting in the woods is perfection.

In the woods

We chose to stay here for the location being close to where we were going to be hiking. It is in the woods and quiet which we enjoyed. Bring bug spray as the mosquitoes were very happy when we were there. The cabin is very cute and kitchen is well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The downside is the mattresses were not comfortable and the bathroom has no door only a curtain, so that was disappointing. We did not mind the curtain on the bathroom as much being it was just family. But, the matresses need to be updated cause that made for a rough nights sleep. If the mattresses were updated would stay here again. The area though is amazing.

Weekend get away

Very nice, had everything we needed. Secluded. Very good deal. Hiked at nearby Table Rock, then dinner in Pickens. We were tired after our hike, ate a late lunch at the cabin. All the nearby local restaurants close early at 5 or 4 on Saturday. Good time to hang out together.

Lazy Host

Cabin was OK. The outside picture is misleading, the cabin is much older and has turned a different color, and the landscaping wasn’t as nice. Wasn’t much of an issue as it was purely cosmetic, but did make it difficult to tell if we were at the right place. Definitely felt “catfished”. When I went inside, the cabin looked the same as pictures listed. However, I was greeted with #2 stains all inside the toilet. Gross. Then found spider webs and dead bugs on the floor in kitchen.

My boyfriend introduced me to this area, it was not my first time here but I saw it through new eyes when I first visited his vacation rental with a friend and was introduced to him. He was my inspiration to find stay in this little paradise, to see the beauty every day and not to be held in the bustle of the city. #citygirlgonecountry! We built this guest cabin and my cabin home in these woods (with my boyfriend and a friend who is a builder) as a place to be in nature for myself and as a lovely place to share with vacation guests coming to this area.

I looked at many properties before deciding on this particular one. Nothing else offered the kind of location that this property does. It's fantastic and was the best buy of my life.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

This hand crafted cabins, built by myself, my boyfriend and a builder friend are unique and cozy. I tried to think of how things would work so people could move about the cabin comfortably and would have anything they needed to cook with and relax.
The small porch is where you will spend relaxing time watching the birds and listening to all things in nature surrounding. You can hear the world beyond every once in a while and that makes this cozy place all the more special.
