Always a pleasure

  • 5 of 5

We always have a wonderful time whenever we stay here, and my 2 Shelties are always welcomed which means more to us than anything. The trains are not numerous and do not bother us. The wifi and cable TV work very well. The kitchen is well stocked and everything is in working order. The house is clean and smells nice. [No mold or mildew.] The neighborhood is quiet and walking in the park on Sunday morning was peaceful. We enjoyed the back porch seating, and the rain on the metal roof was soothing. The air conditioner cooled the house adequately and the ceiling fans worked very well to keep the air moving. Hot water was not an issue with 3 adults showering! Mr. Manieri was available to answer any questions we had. He is most helpful with suggestions for the area as well! We love staying here and will return again soon.

Beautiful house and location!!

  • 4 of 5

This house was perfect for what we needed for the weekend! There was everything you can want in a vacation house...except..the TV's in the bedrooms did not work. If anyone is like me, I like to lay in bed and watch TV until sleepy and then go to bed. The upstairs bedroom TV's main box was not turning on at all. The TV turned on, but the cable box would not work. The downstairs bedroom, we could not even find a remote and when trying to manually turn on the TV, it would not turn on and it was definitely plugged in. Maybe a recent electrical storm blew them out? Who knows but they didn't work and the kids were also very disappointed. The WiFi worked great tho and at least that made things much better for them. You know how kids are nowadays! Other than that, the house was perfect. Walking outside in the backyard was beautiful to see the pond with the ducks. One thing is that the back yard is literally right on top of the park, people strolling and playing in the park were only a matter of feet from the back patio.

Overall, we loved this location and will use it again when we return!

Owner's Response: Yes, we did have a lightening strike which knocked out not only the cable boxes for this unit but also for the unit next door. I had the cable people come out to fix the unit next door but did not know at the time the other unit had problems too. I will have the cable people come back out and fix this as well.

Beautiful and comfortable!

  • 4 of 5

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. It is beautifully decorated, clean and has all the necessities for a home away from home. Joey was easy to work with and friendly. He was very knowledgeable about the area and gave some great food tips! The best parts about staying here was the fact that it was walking distance to the beach and the restaurants. It was also dog friendly, so we were able to bring our black lab along. We love Bay St. Louis and hope to maybe stay here again.

THANKSGIVING FAMILY STAY

  • 4 of 5

WE ENJOYED OUR STAY IN BAY ST. LOUIS DURING THANKSGIVING. ON THANKSGIVING MORNING THERE WAS A FUN RUN ABOUT 1/2 BLOCK FROM THE HOUSE. THERE WAS PLENTY OF WALKING PATHS BEHIND THE HOUSE AROUND A DUCK POND TO GET EXERCISE AND SEE NATURE. THE HOUSE IS BASICALLY BRAND NEW, IT'S NICELY DECORATED WITH A GREAT FLOOR PLAN. THE HOUSE IS CONVENIENTLY LOCATED CLOSE TO MAIN STREET. WE GOT FRESH BAKED BREADS AND SCONES THANKSGIVING MORNING AT THE BAKERY ON MAIN STREET. WE ENJOYED THE HOUSE, THE ONLY NEGATIVE WOULD HAVE BEEN THE HOUSE'S CLOSE PROXIMITY TO THE TRAIN TRACKS. DURING THE NIGHT YOU MAY HAVE 2-3 TRAINS BLOWING THEIR LOUD WHISTLES IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. WE USED A PHONE APP WHICH PRODUCED SOOTHING SOUNDS FOR SLEEP. THIS HELPED DROWN OUT THE TRAIN NOISE AT NIGHT. OVERALL IT WAS A NICE PLACE THAT EASILY ACCOMMODATED OUR GROUP. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO OTHERS. I WOULD RENT THIS HOUSE AGAIN!! BIG THANKS TO THE MANAGEMENT TEAM- THEY WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND EASY TO WORK WITH.
