Pleasant stay

We enjoyed our 10 day stay and were impressed with how large and clean the house was. The location was great for getting to both St. Augustine and Daytona. It was also nice to have a useable garage.

Nice Stay

Overall, we had a very good stay here, the host was very accommodating to our need for extensions due to unforeseen circumstances. House had ample rooms and was clean and bright. Outside area was nice. We had construction activity right behind the house which was a bit noisy during daytime. My only issue was that the house was dated and some of the furniture was uncomfortable an on the old side felt very used. But overall, a good stay for a few days!

We were glad to be close to our destination, but did not find this house comfortable or enjoyable. Dirty dishes, chaos in cabinet and closets, the furniture is old and not comfortable. We felt that we had walked into someone's grandparent's home and the kids took what they wanted and just left all of the other personal items. It has great potential, but needs a complete organizational revamp.

Palm Coast Get Away

We found this property to be just as pictured. The kitchen was fully stocked, the bedrooms were spacious, the family room was comfortable, the lanai was bright and large and the patio was a nice place to sit late afternoons and evenings. Travis, the property manager, was quick to answer all our questions and resolved a couple of issues promptly. Will definitely return!

comfort and convenience

the property came as advertised. clean and in order. Travis (property mgr) was very polite and helpful. The house is located in a great spot with easy access to shopping and beach. We would definitely stay there again- the kids felt right at home.

Like it enough for a second stay.

This was our second stay at the home. Both times it's been spotless upon our entry. Property manager Travis has been attentive the very few times we've ever needed to contact him. And those times were for very minor things like to get an updated wifi password. The home is in a nice quiet neighborhood. We never had any interaction with neighbors other than those who would sometimes wave as we passed them on the street. All in all I'd recommend this home if you like to be away from the hustle of the beach areas, and many attractions are within easy driving distance.

From the moment we first spoke the property manager Travis was extremely responsive and helpful. Within 10 minutes of our arrival we found that the WiFi was not working. He was there nearly immediately and had the problem solved right away. I pointed out some things that were dirty for future reference. We found other things that were dirty and opted not to use dishes, dishwasher, blender, pots etc basically only used the microwave and fridge in the kitchen. We got 95% of our meals out and reheated leftovers. As shown in the pictures (which I didn’t really notice) the house is like stepping into gramma’s house, lots of dust collecting chachkies (so). If you have asthma or respiratory issues look for another house. We were glad we were only there a a week. On the positive side my little Bichon dog was welcome and it is very convenient to I-95NS, the beach and golf.

When we arrived we were really surprised with how clean it was and how the house had pretty much everything already there. We loved staying there and would come back in the future. So we would of course recommend for other families to stay there as well. Thank you so much.

Perfect place to rent for a family!!

We had an excellent stay at the house! It was in a very quiet neighborhood. Close to restaurants and stores. It was everything the pictures portrayed. Travis , the property manager was the best!!!!! When I had any questions or was calling about arriving a few hours earlier, he responded back almost immediately.. Would gladly rent this house again and recommend it to anyone .

A great place to get away and yet feel at home.

We enjoyed the home experience as we had our dog with us and were able to ride bikes and go to the beach as well as a long day at Disney. The Washington park was nice ad well. The home made a nice home base. Our daughter and family joined us and house was set up nice for that.

Great Home away from Home Experience

This is the first time we have ever rented a home like this for our family vacation, the moment we walked through the door we felt at home. We were suppose to check in at 3, but arrived early and after a quick response from Travis we were allowed to check in a few hours early. We stayed for 8 days and never had any issues with insects in the home which were reported on the reviews. The house was well stocked with anything you could possibly need. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and close to beaches, store and attractions. We definently would reccomend this house and look forward to renting this house again on our next vacation to Palm Coast.

Lovely home, quite neighborhood

This home was spotless and spacious. Plenty of room for 4 adults and a garage that easily held our 4 motorcycles. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood that was perfect for our group of middle age adults. We saw no evidence of bugs or pests mentioned in another review and everything was as clean as could be. The master bedroom was very nice with a large shower and twin sinks. The room on the rear of the home let in plenty of sunshine and fresh air and was a fantastic spot to have dinner or relax & read or check out the tablets with wireless internet. The only tiny problem we had was that the wifi password in the guide book was incorrect. This was on day one and within 20 minutes of sending Travis a note on the VRBO app he was knocking at the door to solve the problem. Speaking of Travis, any questions asked before the stay always got a prompt and courteous reply. I'd recommend this property to anyone looking for a roomy spot in a quiet neighborhood. Publix, Dollar General, Walgreen, Target, etc. are all close by but not on top of you. We'd definitely stay there again if it were closer to the places we generally frequent on motorcycles.

Very Nice House, but needs TLC!

Very nice house. Good location, which is close to grocery stores, restaurants, and the highway. Have TVs everywhere with good Internet. Travis was very responsive. I would have giving it 5 stars: 1) If it didn't have the bad smell in the sun room 2) If it didn't have the small cockroaches every where in the kitchen 3) If it didn't have the screen sections on the garage door 4) If it had less nick nacks every where in the house (the house was very busy with items - if I had kids, it would have been an issue for me) 5) If it had a sofa bed in the family room since it didn't have two twin beds in any of the rooms (not sure how it could sleeps 8 people with the current configuration) 6) If it had comforter (or more blankets) in the master bedroom 7) If the lawn was better cared for 8) If all light bulbs worked! Basically, the house and location is good, but it needs someone to care for it more.

Disappointing

The home photos are mostly accurate, and it could have been very nice, but cleanliness was an issue. Immediately upon arrival we discovered several places with dog urine stains that had not been cleaned. We called Travis asap and never received a return call, so used cleaner to clean the areas as well as we could. Later in the evening, found a few bugs on kitchen counter, so used Raid to attack that issue. The beds were comfortable, the furniture was not. The lanai was large and bright, but furniture badly needs to be replaced. We paid for 5 nights, stayed 2. On the 3rd evening, we started seeing some bugs on the kitchen floor....roaches. Out came the Raid spray. Texted and emailed Travis explaining everything and prepared to pack our car and leave. No response. After we vacated the property at 11 pm on thanksgiving night. I texted again and he called. He apologized for not returning texts or calls and said he would check out the issues in the house and get back to us the next day. He was very apologeic and assured me would make up for us having to leave.early. We thought he was very sincere, but as of this moment., 5 days later,, we've never heard another word. This could be a very nice property with a thorough cleaning, exterminator, and upgraded furniture..

Great home for families

We rented this home during the hurricane Florence evacuation and were very pleased with our accommodations. Even better, the property manager Travis Keith was beyond reproach! He helped us set up everything with our situation and was more than willing to help and easily available, simply great at what he does! Thanks again for letting us have our unplanned vacation here!

Our concerns were not taken seriously.

When we arrived everything was lovely. Then on Monday the ac went out. We called Travis. It took awhile for him to get back to us. Then he came over took the cover off the thermostat, put it back on and it started again. The ac people came and looked at it, said everything seems okay. Then that night it went out again (1am). We did not want to disturb anyone at that hour so my husband called at 9am Tuesday. He left several messages for Travis. Then at noon he called the ac people since we had not heard from Travis. The repairman came within the hour. He said it was a bad thermostat and that he told Travis that. He put a new one on. My husband is a heart patient and takes 5 blood pressure medicines. The house was hot. It also impacted our vacation since we had to stay home both days to wait for repairmen. Also the ignition on the barb q did not work. When my husband spoke to Travis and told him of our concerns he contacted the owners. The last we heard (a couple days after our visit) from Travis was that the owners had not decided anything. That was a month ago. Apparently they do not care that we were very uncomfortable without air conditioning in Florida in August. If we were at a hotel we would have been moved to another room. There should have been something done. Otherwise there is no reason not to stay in a hotel in the future. A beautiful house in a quiet neighborhood means nothing if you have trouble breathing.

House felt like my great aunt’s house with so many kitschy treasures everywhere.

Home was clean and comfortable with all comforts and decor of your great aunt’s home. Be prepared to clear away some breakable treasures and replace them as you leave, especially if traveling with children and puppy. Nice quiet neighborhood, not far from beach and St.Augustine. Very nice stay.
