I am an interior designer and real estate agent, with two beautiful daughters. We live between Los Angeles and Aspen and absolutely love our life, our family, and this home. I have been an short term rental host for 4 years, and love the flexibility it gives us for our homes and travel. This property is incredibly special. When I found it, I was looking for a safe, comfortable space to feel at home with my daughter. This home sat on four private acres in the heart of town, walking distance from Starbucks, Whole Foods, and tons of restaurants, but it also sat at the end of a private driveway, providing us with the seclusion we needed, while not removing us from town. The property was perfect, but the home needed a lot of love. I did a full remodel before moving my daughter and I in. We took the home down to it's studs, restored the beautiful hardwood floors, and replaced literally everything else. It is truly a labor of love, and that is obvious when you walk into the home because love resonates throughout. Outside, there is a deck with Restoration Hardware outdoor lounge furniture, a bbq, and unobstructed views. There is also a large two story play gym for kids, complete with two swings, monkey bars, a slide, rock wall, play house and picnic table. The bedrooms are cozy, the bathrooms are beautifully tiles, the kitchen is a dream, and the main living room has large sliders going out to the deck. We are also a short drive to all the ski mountains in the area, and within walking distance to RFTA (the bus system) that will take you there if you don't have a car. There are great parks withing walking distance, and there is a children's splash pad just across the street.
