Newhard Chalet - Casa de vacaciones de montaña grande durante todo el año

El Newhard Chalet original, construido por la familia Newhard, fue la primera casa de vacaciones en Snowmass Village, construida en 1967. El actual Newhard Chalet es una casa de montaña más contemporánea, construida en 2000. La casa está en tres niveles en 1/2 acre contiguo a un cinturón verde, con álamos y abetos enmarcando la casa.

Ingrese al Chalet en una gran sala con una cómoda área de descanso alrededor de la chimenea, un comedor con dos mesas ovaladas con asientos en sillas de capitán para hasta 20 personas y una cocina grande y muy bien equipada, todas con vistas panorámicas al valle y a la montaña. Entrada desde la sala de estar / comedor a la terraza con barbacoa de gas y sillas para todo clima. Medio baño de visitas en el nivel principal. El dormitorio principal con su propia terraza y baño completo se encuentran fuera de la sala de estar. Entrada desde la sala de estar / comedor a la terraza con barbacoa de gas y sillas para todo clima.

El nivel superior conduce a un dormitorio tipo loft con 2 gemelos, una cama nido con 2 gemelos y un loft con balcón con 2 gemelos, además de baño completo. El nivel inferior tiene 3 habitaciones queen, sala familiar con sofá cama queen, 2 baños completos y lavadora / secadora. Habitación familiar se abre a la cubierta inferior con bañera de hidromasaje grande.

WiFi gratuito disponible. Todas las habitaciones tienen televisores con televisores más grandes en la sala familiar y sala de estar. Varios reproductores de DVD también están disponibles.

This place is one of the best we have stayed in. We enjoyed the location to Snowmass mountain, about a mile from the village. The bus stops right off the main road in front of the house. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with everything we needed for making breakfast. We also enjoyed the hot tub after a day of skiing. We would definitely stay here again!

5 stars is too low a score for this house! It is warm and inviting, beautifully organized and set up for a large group and close to everything. The owner is wonderful - and there is an onsite (over garage) manager as well. The home is steps from the shuttle, so trips to the mountain or to Aspen (or other mountains) are just steps away. We only used the car for one trip!This is our favorite out of all the homes we have rented over the years.

House was clean and matched the photos. It was about a mile from Snowmass Village and the free bus picks you up at the bottom of the hill. Lots of chairs and common spaces to gather with friends and family. Persie was great to communicate with and the onsite property manager was really helpful. We were there at peak fall and loved the views.

Everything you need in a fabulous location

We loved our stay at Newhard Chalet. The house had a great layout for our group of 10 (6 adults and 4 kids). You can tell the owners are very thoughtful with so many kitchen supplies and labeled instructions throughout the house. The location was great - easy access to both Aspen and Snowmass. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful house close to Snowmass

We had a great stay at the Newhard house. The location is perfect with easy access to the bus line (no need to rent a car). The host was very responsive and helpful with check-in. The house is clean and spacious. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Aspen!

Amazing Stay!

We stayed at this property for 5 nights to attend my nephews wedding held at Maroon Bells. The property was great with all the bedrooms and bathrooms we needed to house the family who traveled from Ohio and SC to attend. It was close to the town and activities, stores and restaurants. I highly recommend this property!

Snowmass visit in July

We had a GREAT time at this roomy house. We appreciated the 2 living areas and having 4 full bathrooms the powder room since there were 9 of us comfortably staying here. The bocci court and the hot tub were both great. We walked into Snowmass Village along the trail while the 7 year old and his dad biked. We were amazed at how many garbage pick-ups there were (4th of July, Sunday morning, daily). Many thanks for a wonderful stay!

Amazing house and great location!

Our group loved this house! We stayed with a group of 12 and everyone had a comfortable place to sleep. It is right on the bus line too, with very easy access to all ski mountains and downtown Aspen. The photos also do not do this place justice, it’s beautiful and super cozy! Very clean and well stocked kitchen too. Highly recommend.

I built the original house with my brother and friends in 1967. We were the first to receive a certificate of occupancy in the newly opened Snowmass Ski Resort. I continue to visit Snowmass frequently with family and friends.

I began skiing in Aspen with my brother in 1961, and had the opportunity to get in on the ground floor of Snowmass Ski Resort. My sister's children own a place nearby (the Snoke Chalet) and we created family vacations throughout the year to enjoy the area and each other's company.
Skiing conditions are unbelievably good, with splendid snow conditions and attention to grooming the hills throughout the ski season.
In addition to ski season, Snowmass Village is a lovely get-away for family and friends at all times of the year. Summer season is the time for the Aspen Music Festival, Balloon Festival, Aspen Food & Wine, and many other events in the area, as well as enjoying the Lost Forest adventure area on Snowmass Mountain.

Very well stocked kitchen for cooking for large groups. Ideal climate, great skiing, year round leisure. Excellent snow conditions are typical during the ski season. Off season offers many options for leisure, such as hiking, golfing, fishing, biking, fine dining, horseback riding, river rafting in summer, the beauty of seasonal changes, and a great place for multi-generational family and friends get-togethers.
