About the property

Cabin, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, Sleeps 6

From the private hot tub to the firepit to the dog-friendly attitude, this Sautee Nacoochee vacation cabin has everything you'll want for the perfect mountain retreat!

The cabin is private and secluded, with the charming Bavarian town of Helen only eight miles to the southwest. The quiet and serenity of the forest helps you relax and enjoy the break.

This delightful cabin marries sophistication with rustic charm, with leather seating in front of the flatscreen TV and fireplace. Keep on top of the news with the fast WiFi, or challenge someone to an air hockey tournament. If it's dinnertime, head to the full kitchen to prepare something delicious. When you're done, slide the prep dishes in the dishwasher and enjoy a sit-down meal around the dining table.

A screened-in porch has a private hot tub where you can soak out any aches from the day's hikes, or just enjoy a fresh breeze.

This cabin has two bedrooms and two bathrooms, providing plenty of space for six guests and up to three dogs (with a small nightly fee). One of the bedrooms has a king bed, and the other has a queen - both have TVs. There's a sofabed providing sleeping space for another few travelers.

Take long hikes in Unicoi State Park, enjoy the superb German cuisine that there's so much of in Helen, or look for your new favorite beer at the town's Oktoberfest, one of the largest in the southeast.

Reserve your dates today and get ready for outdoor fun!

About Vacasa, GA - Atlanta Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Great stay!

  • 5 of 5

My family of 4 stayed here for a week and absolutely loved it. Really liked how there was a little yard for the kids to wonder. Secluded at the end of the drive was perfect!!! Kitchen has all the amenities that you would need including crockpot, waffle maker, mixer, griddle, coffee pot, lots of dishes. Really was a great stay. My only complaint would be that the hot tub wouldn't heat up for us. But would still stay there again.

Very clean, quiet place in a close proximity to Helen but still secluded

  • 5 of 5

Loved the proximity of the place to the waterfalls and the town of Helen. Lots of stuff to do within 10-15 miles, archery, indoor go karting, water falls, hiking and zip lining. Places to eat along the river in Helen and a nice country store to get fresh food and products. Everyone is really nice they’ll let you know what’s going on in town. The cabin is clean well kept and comfortable. I recommend if you want to get into the jucuzzi turn it on ASAP. Because of the weather it takes it longer to heat up if the water is cooler. I had absolutely no service which is fine because it’s vacation but just a heads up on your service.

Great Little Cabin

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I, along with our oldest son, his wife and their 3 year old stayed here for the weekend. There was plenty of room for everyone and the cabin suited our needs perfectly. The kitchen is well stocked and the bathrooms had plenty of towels and washcloths. The location was great, not too close to town, but not too far away. It was secluded enough to offer the privacy we desired. We enjoyed making S'mores with our granddaughter around the fire pit. The price for the cabin was reasonable and I was furnished with all the information I needed, such as the code for the door, check in info and check out info, etc, in a timely manner. I had no issues to speak of. I would definitely rent this cabin again if the opportunity arises. Thank you :)
