This privately owned, family mountain retreat is tucked away between historic Nacoochee Valley and Unicoi State Park – convenient to Helen, Unicoi State Park, Clarkesville, and Cleveland.
We welcome you to visit us and enjoy the majesty of the beautiful and ever-changing North Georgia Mountains where each season displays its own distinctive colors and scenes. Helen GA area
Absolutely loved staying at this cabin. It is right on a mountain stream and you hear the water all the time. The cabin was well-supplied, neat and clean. Don and Brenda were great hosts. I plan to rent it again later this year.
Great property including driving thru a creek & then having another creek right by the cabin.
Cabin was clean & stocked. Very small narrow bathroom for 4 people & no storage. Living room had a couch, but could have used a loveseat instead of 2 rocking chairs, so 4 people could be more comfortable. In the downstairs bedroom the dresser was full of Christmas stuff, couldn't unpack, but used closet. Upstairs you have to move the rug to close the door & no room to unpack, our friends used the twin beds in the out side room to lay their clothes on.
Didn't use the fireplace, because we didn't bring wood, heat works great. Grill didn't heat up for us to cook, Jenn-Air range was great. Great privacy & grounds kept very well. Very well lit out side on all 4 sides. Pouch swing & chairs a plus. Would rent again for a long weekend for just the 2 of us.
Peaceful and Relaxing.
The cabin and owners Mr. Don and Mrs. Brenda did not disappoint. The initial call from Mr. Don was great. He went out of his way to describe the cabin and location. Once we arrived they wanted to make sure that we was satisfied. The cabin was just as describe. We really enjoyed our trip. The cabin was very clean and organized. The location seem like you was deep in the woods but you was less than 10mins for Helen. We look forward to staying again soon. Thank you for a much needed relaxing weekend.
Charming, clean, peaceful
This was a short relaxing weekend in the perfect spot. The sound of the water running through the creek is so peaceful.
We will stay again a d highly recommend you give it a try.
We enjoyed our stay st the cabin. It was clean, well-taken-care of and functional. It was a great place to disconnect and explore the sights in Helen and surroundings. Hope to be back in the Summer!
Everything was absolutely beautiful.
Don and Brenda were at the cabin to greet us and make sure we knew where everything was. There is a pretty little stream right next to the house. The house is so cozy and perfectly clean. There is a great kitchen for cooking if you like. If you enjoy walks there is a great gravel road. There is a swing on the porch for relaxing. We would love to visit here again.
