This cute and simple family and dog friendly cottage is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. It is warm and sunny with relaxing views to the sunset and Brynderwyn hills. The surf beach, estuary, golf course, shops and Mangawhai Activity Zone are all within a 5 minute drive or a 15-20 minute walk (30 minutes for surf beach).

Would suit families or mature couples. The perfect place to relax and enjoy Magical Mangawhai!

Enjoyable place to stay Clean and comfortable Awesome to be able to have our 2 little dogs with us. Loved the fire which warmed every room in the cottage so great for our short winter break.

Ideal house for family weekend. Only improvement would be wifi as Mangawai cell tower overloaded on Easter weekend.

Magic Mangawhai

We loved the bach, great location, well appointed and a homely feel with plenty of space both inside and outside on the decks. Quiet, surrounded by bush and birdsong and only a ten minute walk to the Estuary and the village. We would love to stay here again.

Brilliant golf spot

Played golf with a few friends at Mangawhai. Bach was super close to the course and an easy walk into town to meet the others. Clean, tidy, easy to do everything in the property. Would be great in the summer wuth deck and BBQ (august was a little chilly !) Popped out for

Peaceful Mangawhai haven

Such a great bach - close to Wood St. Shops and cafes and not a long drive to the beach but very peaceful. No wifi but a great TV , its a great spot to relax and have time out. Nice secure property for dogs. Really recommend it. Nick .

Bush and Birdsong

We have stayed here several times. Just as in photos.Comfortable, well stocked kitchen, good shower pressure. It's in a cul de sac so little traffic, easy parking. Lovely and quiet with birdsong and bush outlook. 5 minute walk to wood street shops. As always Dave and Bachstay a pleasure to book through.

Super clean, functional and well set up. Warm and cosy with the fireplace- great instructions how how to best use the house. Loads of books, dvds and games to get through the rainy periods too. Photos don’t do it justice.

Beautiful

Location and property is stunning. Very spacious (photos don't do it justice). Great toys under the house to play with (paddle boards, bikes, boogie boards). Only downside is no internet, which in this day in age is surprising and if you like good water pressure showers, this ain't the place for you. In saying that, would go back definitely!

The perfect retreat..

The best little bach in mangawhai .6 adults comfortably slept cooked and bbqed..facilities excellent.great parking.didnt take advantage of all the games..next time..we will be back.
