Jandals Bach - Original Kiwi Bach with fantastic views and short walk to estuary and surf beach.

Jandals - one of the last standing original kiwi baches in Mangawhai with location and views that will be the envy of many! This is beach holidaying at its best! This is what is used to be like to stay at the beach....the sound of the waves, the smell of the salt and just stroll to the beach in 30 seconds.

This charming wee house has 3 bedrooms but note that two are downstairs with no internal access. The bedrooms downstairs have a second bathroom attached to them and please be aware that the bedrooms and bathroom are separated by only a curtain and access to the bedroom with the bunk set is through the other bedroom.
The commanding views from the house are almost unbeatable and you cannot get much closer to the beach - and certainly not at this price!

If you want to experience a true Kiwi beach holiday the way we used to in generations past then this is a great place to holiday. There is also a double kayak for you to use as well.
Please note that the kitchen only has a bench top small oven and single hob - Jamie Oliver will be at the BBQ NOT slaving in front of a hot oven!
This is a basic but tidy kiwi bach and in true old school bach style it does not have Wi-Fi.
Please note there is a new house being built next door to this property so there may be building noise during working hours through the week.
LINEN OPTIONS: To keep your holiday more affordable, for this property we offer linen as an optional extra for guests who prefer to bring their own. If you choose to bring your own linen, you will need to supply top and bottom sheets, pillowcases, towels and bath mats. Pillows, Duvets and Duvet covers will be provided.
Alternatively, a rental linen package is available for $25 per person. To request this service, please add a note to your booking specifying the number of people requiring linen and which beds you would like prepared.
BOOKING PAYMENT: Although your credit card details are taken during the booking process, we won't automatically charge your credit card. Once your booking is approved we will send you a payment email with a choice of credit card payment (a 3% surcharge applies) or bank transfer (no charges).
