You'll love our adorable, updated mid-century modern. It's pet-friendly and perfect for a quick getaway or a longer stay. Amazing outdoor spaces: a spacious deck with gas BBQ, screened porch, and large fenced back yard. Wifi and netflix included. Located between Avondale and Crestwood, the house is very convenient--walk to Cahaba Brewing Company; bike to Avondale's restaurants, bars and park; or get downtown by car in just a few minutes.

This stylish 1950's bungalow is fully-updated and perfect for your stay in Birmingham. Enjoy the screened-in porch, private back deck, and large fenced in back yard. This house can comfortably accommodate up to 5 adults. Each of the two bedrooms has a queen memory foam mattress. There is sofa in the living room (sleeps 1 adult).

For those visiting without access to a car, uber/lyft are super convenient, and it is easy to bike from our house to parks, food, and entertainment in Avondale.

Amazing, Clean, and Quiet Property

This property was great! The pictures show just how great this home is. Although I only stayed one night I wish I could have stayed longer. The host communication/response time was top tier as well as the entire property. I was allowed to host a small group of friends (about 5) and it was worth every penny. This is a great property and I will be staying here many times more!

Great spot to explore Bham

The house was well maintained, clean, and as advertised. The comfortable backyard and side screened porch were very relaxing. The house is very conveniently located to explore the Avondale neighborhood and make quick trips downtown. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Property is well maintained, very clean and well stocked. The location is perfect and the house is best described as quaint. This was my first time here but definitely won’t be my last . Highly recommended.

We enjoyed a nice overnight in Birmingham at this cute property. Great kitchen, very functional rooms, bathroom fully appointed and the backyard is wonderful for dogs. The host is so responsive and answered any questions we had. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!’

Peaceful and relaxing

This property is great. Very comfortable and quiet. I’m going through a stressful time and it was nice to be able to sit on the side porch hammock and watch the birds and neighborhood cats, or sit by the fire pit in the evening. The bath salts provided were also a nice touch. Comfortable pillows, too. My only two gripes are that the tub needed some drain cleaner, and that it’s definitely clear that dogs love this place—there’s a slight scent of dog coming from the furniture and rugs, which I could deal with but it was a bit strong at first. I appreciated the provided air/linen freshener sprays!

Charming Bungalow

Charming well-appointed bungalow with a "retro" vibe. The house was stocked with everything you need for your stay and included many extras that were nice touches, such as welcome snacks and coffee/tea supplies. Very pet friendly as well, with toys and doggie bags and a fully fenced in yard. The set up in the backyard was very nice, but we didn't get to enjoy those amenities due to the weather. The screen porch was a nice hangout spot. The neighborhood was quiet and seemed safe, although the neighborhood convenience stores had burglar bars on the windows, which can be unsettling, but we never felt unsafe in the area and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Perfect little oasis

My little AussieDoodle and I loved our stay! The place was immaculately clean. I cooked dinner for my daughter and her friends and the kitchen was fully stocked and Publix is so close. My puppy loved the backyard. The fire pit didn’t have the attached propane tank so we couldn’t use that, but communication was excellent. We were told someone would bring one over if we wanted it. It was so very quiet outside. We will definitely be staying again. This place is just precious!!

This was a nice house with a great yard. Everything was in great condition, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the natural gas grill was very convenient. My wife and out basset hound had a very nice time!

Cutest house in a great location

This renovated cottage was perfect for our stay. My sister and I grew up very near this location and it brought back memories. The house is very comfortable and near the very popular Avondale area with lots of great restaurants/bars. The best part of all was that I was able to bring my dogs! There is a fenced back yard that they loved running around in.

the online description for this property is inaccurate as it only sleeps 4 really with the two beds -- although it lists three bedroom. We moved to the Charles Apts and it was lovely and slept all of us comfortably with great queen bunks and a king. So this review is for the Charles Apt.

best VRBO ever

OMG, I had to take the time to write a review for this VRBO because it SO exceeded all expectations. It is beautiful, stylish, clean, and more thoughtfully appointed than any rental I have ever stayed in. Me, my sister, and my best friend came from Memphis and stayed one night for the Kesha concert; not only did this VRBO have everything we needed and more, it was extremely convenient for the Avondale neighborhood where the show was. I am coming back next month for another Avondale show and I wish I had booked this place again!!!

Our Stay

There was a problem at this property and Emma took care of it & immediately and gave us another place to stay that was VERY nice upgrade. I would definitely book here again. The new property we stayed at was very nice. I loved the old time feel of the house we stayed in.
