Over all the whole family enjoyed our stay. awesome area!
The main problem we had/have is that many guests got hot tube folliculitis and one person went to the ER. more chemicals need to be used in the hot tub!
This home was just what we were looking for! It was clean and well maintained. The owners took extra care to be sure we had everything we needed for time at the beach-chairs, corn hole, spike ball, boogie boards, and even a rolling cart to transport it all! Our stay was in April so we were not able to take advantage of the pool, but the hot tub was amazing! The walk to the beach is quick and easy. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this home to other families!
Our week long stay with 4 adults and 5 teenagers was a success. Plenty to do at the Outer Banks. Pool and hot tub are added bonuses at the house! Short(ish) walk to the beach, 2 blocks away. Steps to beach (public access) are VERY steep and lots of them so plan accordingly with beach gear.Bring 1-2 more kitchen towels and 1-2 more pot holders as only 1 of each are provided at the house. Additional hooks in bedrooms for towels, etc. as well as additional outlets in bedrooms were missed.Yes, the house sleeps 10, but with just 2 bathrooms, there was lots of waiting. Even just a half bath would have been nice. Also not enough seating for meals together, luckily we brought a folding table.Brindley Beach rentals is great to work with. Response time is great, we did need maintenance and they came right out. Our issue was fixed same day. Check in and check out was a breeze. House was very clean.

We have stayed at this house for the past 3 years without issues. June 2026 was horrible. We checked into a dirty house. Some utensils and cookware were rusty, the oven was filthy and both can openers were broken. They did bring us a new can opener. The floor was filthy; the living room furniture was stained. A plastic doll looking like a drugged-out Miley Cyrus was glued to the light fixture hanging in the stairway. The picture is hilarious. A housekeeper (male) knocked on the door after 9 pm check in day. Scarred us, we (5 women) all were in pjs and not expecting anyone until the next day. There was trash in the back yard and hot tub area. The pool area needed sweeping and the pool needed cleaning. The pool chairs were old, rusty and one broke and the cushions were stained from the wet leaves. The Tiki bar area needed cleaning as well. They did send someone to clean the pool and tiki bar. I did take pictures for documentation for the rental company. We will not be going back or using Brindley Beach Vacations. We were hoping to get reimbursed for the cleaning fee considering it had not been cleaned upon our arrival. I left several personal items behind in a top drawer of a nightstand. After a week and a half of going back and forth with them, my items were found. They were kind enough to mail me my stuff.
The pictures don't do this property justice. It's a beautiful home that was perfect for my wife and I, my 2 adult daughters and 3 grandkids. We had a great time in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood with public beach access only a 5 min walk away
