You have finally found The Hidden Gem! This little vacation treasure is perfect for a small family group as it has 2 King Master Suites and 2 other bedrooms for children. [Note: No dogs or other animals are allowed in this home.]

Beds: 2 King Masters, 2 Twin Beds, 1 Pyramid Bunk with Trundle; 10 Towel Sets provided

TOP LEVEL:
An open and spacious Great Room features a Living area with streaming TV available. The kitchen is well-stocked with plenty of equipment for making family meals. The kitchen island seats 4 and the dining area (seats 8). A half bathroom is located by the kitchen. A tower room on this level has beautiful views. The King Master Suite has a flat-screen TV (streaming TV only), deck access and its bathroom has a separate tub and shower. [Note: gas fireplace is not for guest use.]

ENTRY LEVEL:
A King Master Suite with flat-screen TV and deck access is close to the other bedrooms on this level. The other two bedrooms a 2 Twin beds and a Pyramid Bunk which share a hall bath. There is deck access to the back porch overlooking the pool. A gas grill is available for easy meal preparation. There is parking for 2 vehicles max.

EXTRAS:
In season, The Hammocks section has a full-size pool and kiddie pool for the little ones. As guests within The Currituck Club, a premier-gated community and resort, your family can use its various amenities including free trolley service to the beach access and beach valet service (summer months only), a Clubhouse with on-site dining, a large community pool with kiddie pool at the main entrance, a Fitness Center, and courts for tennis, basketball, volleyball and pickleball. There are planned kids' activities offered during the summer and paths for walking and bike riding. Golfers in the family can make reservations to play the 18-hole course that is landscaped throughout the resort with sound and ocean views.

Great location

Property was very nice, great location, private beach with valet service, beautiful pool, hot tub, and the house was lovely! Great place for smaller children - safety features keep them from getting to the pool without an adult.

The house was nice but needs some attention . The nails on the lower deck are sticking up in spots and catch on your feet. The pool had a leak and instead of fixing it they just add water and the pool is constently ice cold. The pool guy was ignorant and rude.Wasnt really able to enjoy the pool so that was a disappointment. The stay was ok but probably wouldnt bool again. I called about the pool and management was suppose to call. Never heard anything back. Not real impressed.

Our stay was very good. I do have a few comments about the property. The hot tub could use some updates as the head rests are missing and the outside wood is looking pretty poor. The hot tub cover was also falling apart and needs to be replaced. The pool seemed to loose some water while we were there which caused it to not filter well. The house was very clean and everything seemed to be in good working condition inside. Would definitely consider staying at this property again.

Needs some improvements.

Very dirty windows and window sills. Doors did not open property to bedrooms. Not many seating options on the deck/patio. Walls marked up and dirty Headboard to the king bed torn up. Some other the other furniture in bedrooms nicked up. A lot of little things that could be improved to make the house much nicer.

Truly a hidden gem

We had a great time, the house was perfect for our party of 9. Currituck club is a beautiful gated community with golf course. We recommend renting a golf cart, it is a lot of fun and the grocery is so close you can take the cart there. We have a few recommendations for the property. We had an age range from 20 to 73 and there was no hand rail to help walk into the beautiful pool. It is really needed and there were no steps to get into the hot tub. The hot tub was great, just needed a coat of paint around the entire wood surrounding and on the front steps by the front door. We highly recommend this home and Currituck Club. Lots of activities for all ages and we loved the trolley service to the beach. Thanks for a great week. We hope to come back again!

Inside was nice, outside was very disappointing

The house has everything it says it has. Dont expect anything else though. No outside light for pool area. No pool light for swimming after dark. No light for grill. No table to eat n play cards at. I like grilling i was outside grilling with my phone light. Then carry the food up 2 floors to eat because its no table. Half the chairs were broke outside as well. Cant see to let kids swim safely. Cant get un rhe hot tube and let kids swim because its so dark you cant keep an eye on them. The beach was nice but ill drfinitly pick another house to stay in next year.

Great family Vacation Home

The house was extremely clean upon arrival. Plenty of pots, pans, cups, silverware etc. we had 10 people stay at this house with ages ranging from 1-35yrs old. There was plenty of space for everyone to enjoy the home together or separately. The home was in great shape and up to date appliances. Pots and pans were not that great, but it was the least of our worries. There wasn’t a grill on site, but paramount delivered us one in under an hour. Brand new Weber grill. The pool was very clean and perfect temp for swimming. As described in other reviews. The pool light did not work. Kind of a bummer, but didn’t stop us from night swimming. The hot tub looks worn, but works great!! The telescope was also broken when we arrived. Not a big deal, but was interested in giving it a shot. So some small quirks, but I’m still giving it 5 stars because everything worked well and met all of our needs. Also use timed dry for drying clothes and may need to run twice. This may be the only applicable that did not work that great.

Hidden negatives

My family was guaranteed an 8-day stay booking through VRBO which I was then later contacted (after signing a complete lease agreement and booking flights) about how a "glitch" had caused this mistake and the home could only be rented for a maximum of 7-day stay. The "compensation" offered was a late check out (stated to be of $200 value which to me was worth $0.00). We had to reorganize travel and flight plans making this compensation useless (as you can confirm by our check out time). Instead of inquiring to the customer as a business who should own the mistake on a preference in compensation, an action that was useless was forced on me. Other Issues: No working pool lights or good lighting for pool Multiple television remotes had no working batteries. No available streaming services Coffee maker has significant issues with functionality making it useless Literally one trash bag and no hand soap for a paid FULL week of stay. The location and amount of activities as well as beach access are amazing. Really great. This feedback was provided to Paramount Destinations (property managers) 6/26/23 to offer direct response; however, they chose not to respond at all to me with even acknowledgement or apology.

Hidden Gem had hidden issues

Beautiful, large, roomy home. Overall it was super nice but it needs some updating. The gate by the pool was broken and the master toilet handle was broken upon arrival. Paramount fixed those issues immediately as soon as we let them know. The deck had many nails sticking up which is a safety hazard. Hot tub and pool area fencing needs some updating/painting and cleaning mostly. Pool light did not work. Landscaping in the pool area needs to be done. There are no blinds in the main living/kitchen area and the houses above could easily see into the house which was kind of weird. The bedrooms all had blinds which was good though. The windows were really dirty in the main living/kitchen area. Some of the doors in the house drug on the carpet and were hard to close. They need to be trimmed it looks like. There is no garage access and no outdoor grill. Alot of the vents that are in the ceiling seem to have dirt or mold in them. We wiped down the living room sofas because they were very dirty. The sheets feel crispy and not very good quality in my opinion. I feel like for the amount of money that we paid, the property should be a little nicer and cleaner. Many things are cosmetic and wouldn't take that much to fix in my opinion. The area is beautiful and it's a really nice house but it does need help. We enjoyed our stay though overall and there were plenty of kitchen utensils and stuff for us to use while cooking, which was awesome. I took pictures of the issues I have listed to show that I am not exaggerating and I do realize that our standards are pretty high but we spent alot of money and were disappointed. Thank you

Feeling a little mislead...

We had a good time and the house was very spacious. We've never stayed in a VRBO managed by a management company and we're quite shocked. The disclaimer scared us before we left with the list of things to take. Salt and Pepper? Just ridiculous! It all turned out OK. Beware that the living room TV doesn't have a dedicated remote and we spent the week fighting to get weather updates on Ian. Toilet seats slid from side to side and the fake widows walk in the picture is just that... fake. The telescope will not get you sights to the ocean only the neighbors and this house is on the main road and the road noise at 5am was overwhelming some days. I would rather pictures and description be more honest. Outer Banks was great but beach access was hard to get to as you had to walk a long way from the parking lots. Don't expect to see much of the ocean as the houses line the beaches with little to no view. If you can't afford to stay on the beach you will be disappointed with the view.

Nice house, convenient shopping nearby, quiet neighborhood

We stayed here for a week and really enjoyed ourselves. The property is located right by the grocery store which is very nice. The neighborhood is quiet, and clean. We were surprised how many activities the neighborhood had (movie night, soccer clinic, tie-dye, etc). The provided travel to the beach wad conveniently located near our property and the drivers were very friendly. We waited about 10 minutes max for the next bus. Overall a very good experience and would recommend the property to anyone.
