Discover your own piece of paradise at this incredible beach getaway! 'Our Happy Place' is the perfect retreat for up to 7 guests seeking comfortable, tastefully decorated accommodations. This cozy vacation home is clean, simple, and fully furnished, including amenities that will make you feel right at home. Even your furry, 4-legged family members can join in on the fun, small to medium dogs are welcome.

Situated in the desirable Oyster Bay I waterfront community, 'Our Happy Place' is located at the end of a wide-mouth canal, offering unobstructed water views and a private dock platform. You'll love the convenience of being situated next to the community boat ramp, making it easy to launch your watercraft for a day of adventure.

Relax and unwind on the expansive wrap-around screened porch overlooking the water, featuring plenty of comfortable seating and a dining area. Savor your morning coffee or sip a cool drink after a day at the beach.

'Our Happy Place' is a single-level home with 3 cozy bedrooms that can accommodate up to 7 guests. The bedrooms include 1 queen, 2 twins, and 1 bunk bed (twin over double). There are 2 full bathrooms, one of which is a tub shower combo.

- Linens and towels are included with your reservation.
- No smoking is permitted on the premises.
- This property is pet friendly with a pet fee per pet. Pet fee is $150 per pet. All pets must be disclosed prior to arrival.
- Any reservations made for a future year (known as "Advanced Reservations") are subject to rate and availability changes. These reservations will be confirmed in January of the arrival year.

Great stay

My family and I enjoyed our stay at our happy place. Great location, house had everything we needed and it was pretty clean. The only thing I would say is there were quite a lot of stains on the carpet, I’m assuming from peoples pets, but overall great stay!

This is such a lovely home! The porch was a great highlight! Very tidy too! Nicely-appointed kitchen. I wish we had picked this one previously!! Cottages are getting expensive, but that's for all of Chincoteague.

Clean Nice Location

This is a nice place with plenty of parking. The house is clean. The management responded to a door issue in a few hours. Remember to bring plenty of bed, bath, and kitchen linens if you do not rent theirs. I did not. Also remember to bring extra toilet paper, dishwasher and laundry detergent, and other basics as there was not an adequate supply.

We had a lovely stay at Our Happy Place! The house was well equipped with modern conveniences, clean, and beautifully decorated. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking all our seafood dinners. The wrap around screen porch was great for bird watching and eating meals, bug free. Enjoyed crabbing and catching some sun on the dock. If I were to add anything it would be a kayak and fire pit but other than that we had everything we needed for a great vacation. Love the keyless entry too! Thanks for a great stay!

July 2022 Stay

Our Happy Place was everything we wanted in our Chincoteague vacation rental! The location was superb! We loved being able to go kayaking right from the dock! The neighborhood was nice and quite for walking our dog. We loved the view of the stars at night - just remember the bug spray! The beds were extremely comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and the house was very clean. We would definitely rent this house again!

The house was great. It had fishing poles, crab traps,all the necessities. It was furnished beautifully, very beachy. The kitchen had all the things you could possibly need. Beautiful area to walk Daisey our golden doodle. She loved it.We had a really great time. The only thing Imissed was a lamp on the night stand in the bedroom.

From the moment we got there, it was nothing but a great time. The screened in porch was nice anytime of the day, especially when you catch the wind from the water. The open floor plan of the house and the decorations where lovely. Every piece of furniture in the house was super comfy so we all slept soundly. The kitchen was fully stocked and even had an Air fryer! The outdoor shower was a must after the beach to wash all the sand off. We brought our boat so having a boat dock and ramp right there to launch was very convenient. There is honestly not one bad thing I could find about this house. We will definitely be staying here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great, pet friendly house along the water.

This was our first time staying at Our Happy Place and it will definitely NOT be our last. This house is absolutely beautiful. It had everything we needed and more. Great location. You can definitely tell the owners take pride in their property. Our family had the best vacation. I love that they honor our Military and First responders as we have one of each. Looking forward to our trip next summer.

We really enjoyed the comfort and cleanliness of Our Happy Place. The porch and the view Are great. Chincoteague maintains its charm, along with some new activities and places in town. We’ve been coming here for years, and I wonder why anyone would not like to live here! Thank for all your help at the office: linens, payment, and suggestions, timeliness on what to do.
