Slope side chalet - Walk out, ski down!

NOTE: FIREPLACE UNDER RENOVATION AND NOT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME E. ALL OTHER AREAS OF OUR HOME ARE UNAFFECTED .

Please Note:
* This is our family's "get out of town" home. This is not a full time rental property. Due to our schedule we are blessed to be able to share it with you during certain seasonal periods.
* Due to the bedding set up we rent to up to 2 FAMILIES OR up to 3 COUPLES ONLY.
* Primary renter must be 30 years old AND an adult of at least 30 years old must be on the premise during the length of stay.
* Dogs must be non-shedding due to family member's allergy.
* Occupancy limits apply.
* Parking is limited to 2 spaces (1 reserved, other on a first come basis).
* Violation of above items will result in immediate termination of agreement.

Come stay at our comfy resort side condo. We have a 4 bedroom, 3 bath, with the fourth bedroom being a sleeping/play loft, vacation home that looks out over the Beech Ski Resort. Perfectly positioned on the new teaching slope "Carolina Caribbean" with a magic carpet conveyor style lift. (Carolina Caribbean Lift Operates 9am to 5pm Daily when Open) Enjoy direct access to skiing and soak in stunning views of the Ski Village from the rear decks. You can also easily ski out to the chair lifts that access the rest of the mountain.

The main level is an open living, dining, kitchen space. The lower level consists of three bedrooms, a single bathroom and laundry closet. The third floor is the games loft.

Easily park and leave the car during your stay!

We are an active family with 6 kids, if you are looking for additional information don't hesitate to ask us!

Please note / you are staying on a ski slope. This cabin is beside of snow blowing equipment and the resort turns them on whenever the conditions allow for snow making. This possibly includes all hours of the day and/or night. Our family finds it thrilling to hear the sound and know we will wake up with fresh "snow", but we also acknowledge this isn't for everyone.

Parking.... We have 2 car limit, this includes 1 guaranteed reserved spot, the second is a very limited first come first serve guest space. When this is the case we use the additional parking in town, a short 3 minute drive, across from Town Hall and the Visitors Center.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

We were there for an outdoor concert and it was such an easy walk to the base where the main stage was located. The house was well stocked and had great views from the porch. I'm sure this house is even better during the ski season when it is ski in - ski out.

Awesome!!

Great communication with property owner. Convenient to the slopes although a bit of a up hill walk back. Well stocked with Coffee, spices, pots and pans as well as towels, sheets and firewood. We definitely plan on going back and staying at it again. The kids and us absolutely loved it.

We had a party of six, and the size of the home was perfect. Teenage boys were out the door and the rest of us could access slopes whenever we wanted. Jennifer is one of the kindest owners we have ever dealt with. Loved it!

1st Time to Beech Mountain

We had a great stay! Directions from owner for check-in and other information were very helpful. The parking lot for the complex was very small/tight with the new garbage dumpster house being built. Also, the hot water did not last long for showers. Otherwise the location was amazing and we enjoyed our stay. Thanks!

Family Fun!

We had an amazing time with our kids and their cousins being right on the slope. We were thrilled to benefit from recent cold front and arrived to snow covered grounds and hill. The kids had a blast. We enjoyed many games of Uno at the large table and loved having a fire going. Kitchen is stocked with all things needed and the younger kids loved the bunk bed room and the teens loved the loft. Love that it was kid friendly, with bunk and loft space and even walkie talkies! Could not have been more perfect. So thankful for the opportunity to use this location and the kids could practice their skiing. Wonderful!

First off let me say this place was amazing we loved it. The only disadvantage is the location at night is a pretty good walk off the slopes. The location is right off the bunny slope. Not the park. Used to be the park. So it’s only open during the day and no lights at night. You rely on a conveyor belt lift to go up the hill. And it closes at 5pm. That being said we had a true beginner with us and having the bunny slope there was perfect for her and made it very convenient. The house is stocked with everything you could possibly need and the owners were very nice and helpful. We had a great time and would definitely come back again.

Nice spot near skiing!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The kitchen is well stocked and there were plenty of toys for the kids to play with! We loved the wood burning fire place also! The snow machines were on while we were there and they were the perfect white noise to help me sleep! The younger kids were able to sled right outside and there were several sleds provided! It rained one day while we were here which made the snow very slick. In order to get down to the slopes you have to walk down a hill. While we were there this hill was very slick and made it difficult to get our kids down. There are stairs but you can’t use them as they belong

SKI IN SKI OUT Christmas gift to kids and grandkids

We all had a lovely time skiing on one of the best weekends for snow at this quaint home with a cozy wood burning fireplace. The house was a perfect location for our young novice skiers/snow boarders. We could not have asked for a better location directly in front beginner slope with the tunnel lift. The house had numerous age appropriate toys and crafts/books for our 5 year old granddaughter which kept her occupied when the rest of the group was still skiing. We loved the ability to come in and eat, take a small break, then head back out again to the slopes. The kitchen was stocked with coffee, tea, hot chocolate and had many spices which made cooking so much tastier. All in all, we had a wonderful trip and I'd go back again if time permitted this year.

Amazing family vacation

This trip was everything my family and I had hoped for and more. The chalet was perfect for my family of 6 with all the comforts of home and more. Jennifer was great to work with and provided us with allot of information in regards to the area. Being from Louisiana we do not have much opportunity to play in the snow. With the ski resort literally right out the back door we were able to enjoy all the snow we wanted but be close enough to the chalet when it got too cold for the little ones. That is when the fireplace and all of the provided wood came in handy! Nothing better than watching the snow fall while sitting next to the fire. We are already talking about our next return trip to this amazing chalet! Thank you Jennifer for being such a gracious host!

We had an unfortunate experience with the property not being as described.The night before check in we were made aware that the fireplace (which was our number 1 amenity must have) was boarded up and had been for almost a year of which was not updated in the listing. Further more this is a ski out hike in. It’s on the bunny hill of which you have to take the magic carpet to access. The magic carpet closes at 5pm, so you’re unable to get back to the house without a significant hike after that time.

Fabulous spot for a mountain escape

We had a wonderful stay with our family! Kids loved all the toys and sleds for the hill. Clean. Well stocked kitchen. Why they chose this property

We found ourselves at Beech skiing and snowboarding more and more times each year. We finally decided we wanted more than a hotel room afterwards. In looking for our dream spot we found even more about Beech Mountain, it's an amazing mountain biking and hiking location as well. (See http://www.emeraldoutback.com just to start with!) We fell in love with the small Main Street and just watched for our spot. A slope side, ski-in, ski-out, overlooking the Terrain Park! was beyond our dreams. Now we hope to share this with you.

What makes this property unique

The loft space won my son over on this house! Being close to Fred's and pizza won me! The fresh Terrain Park sold my daughter! The slope side and easy/safe access off the road sold my husband. The rest of the family just want to play!
