Nice property - lots of room!
The property was nice, we were comfortable. It was convenient to the ATV trails we were riding. The house could use a little maintenance and TLC but overall, we enjoyed our stay there.
Out dated needs cleaning and freshing up. not what I expected
Not clean when we arrived. Had to fix front storm door handle. Door to garage would not lock very well had to work on it... Door to back handle had to be worked on was very loose...Was suitable for only about 9-10 people.. miss represented. burners on stove had to be lit with matches.. Game room was a messy garage with things pilled everywhere. Had to buy 3 bottles of propane $66 to cook outside and heat garage. Not a good experience.. For the price I was expecting a better experience.
Our apologies, Jack. Thank you for bringing these matters to our attention. Despite the challenges, I was glad Beth wrote to say you were having a great time at the house. We told Beth we would be pleased to reimburse you for the propane tanks refills for the gas grill and heaters since we are not able to gauge the propane tank usage. As you can imagine, we were shocked the house was not clean when you arrived. Our housekeeper of many years normally does a great job even during the busy winter season. Thank you for adjusting the loose or stuck doors/handles. The gas stove challenge is its safety feature which requires the burners' center disks have to be solidly in the grooves or the autopilot will not light. While you are correct, the ping pong table, dart board, karaoke machine and other recreational items are in the 2+ garage, it is still a garage where you may find tools and other items you can borrow, if needed, on your trip. Although the garage was completely cleaned and organized in the last 90 days by our family, it is possible when the rain shower was added to our home, the contractors did not clean up well. We will follow-through. We have 5 bedrooms with 8 beds, 1 King, 2 Queen, 3 Full, and 2 Twin, in addition to a queen size sleeper sofa and two full size air mattresses. We have had as many as 21 stay for a week. While a little cozy, we made some great family memories. We are glad your family did too. Looking forward to making it up to you on your next trip our way. Safe travels.
We loved the setting and convenience.
We will definitely be back. Loved the house and the location. Everything we needed.
Really comfortable house.
We had a great time.
Great place to stay! Lots of room!
We had a great time and the house was wonderful. Lots of room. Everything we needed to cook was supplied in the kitchen (pots/pans etc.). The owners were very accommodating and allowed us to extend our check out time.
We are glad that you had a great stay! Please come again soon!
Had a great vacation. Everything in house was great. Had nice weather but, our elk hunt wasn,t successful. Thanks to Kathy and all involved. Might be back. This was our third stay at the house.
