This beautiful and private 3 Bedroom villa is situated on a hillside within the gated community of Hermosa Heights. Recently updated and conveniently located within a 25-minute drive of the Liberia International airport, the villa offers relaxation and beautiful unobstructed views of the ocean and the gulf of Papagayo. Parking is steps from the main entry and patio for the villa. The patio area includes comfortable seating and a dining table for four, a propane BBQ, chaise lounge and a private waterfall edge pool.
Entering through the large sliding glass doors, the main living area has vaulted wood ceilings and beautiful views of the ocean. The kitchen is open-concept and well-stocked with an adjacent dining table that seats six. The living area and each of the three bedrooms are comfortably furnished with amenities that include air conditioning, WiFi, TV, bath and pool towels, and extra linens. Two full bathrooms and separate laundry with a washer & dryer provide the convenience of home.
Within Hermosa Heights is a large communal pool with 2 water slides, spa, mini golf, movie theatre, and a first-aid facility.
Within a short walk, you will find a variety of bars, restaurants, and a convenient mini-market.
The “Blue Flag” beach of Playa Hermosa is less than a kilometer away or just relax on the patio at Villa Pedro.
Playa Coco is a short 15-minute drive and provides additional dining, shopping, and nightlife.
Sit back and relax or, if you are looking to experience more of the wonderful adventures that the Guanacaste region has to offer, our property manager Corby and her team can help you with making all of the necessary arrangements.
With high-speed internet and reliable WiFi throughout the villa, it is a dream location to work or study remotely.

Playa Hermosa Beauty

We had a great time in Playa Hermosa at this charming and perfectly situated home. The house was the perfect size for our family, allowing plenty of time together, but also allowing us to do our own thing in our own space. Having the private pool was a game changer and was how we spent our first and last day in Costa Ria - lounging and relaxing. The views were a great way to start and end the day. Would definitely stay here again!

The infinity pool overlooking the valley is excellent. The unit was in a good location in the secure community, and there was clearly pride of ownership. The amenities (such as shared pool and movie theater are a bonus. Two thumbs up.

Great family place with awesome views!

We enjoyed staying at the villa. The listing photos don’t do the view justice. We enjoyed the binoculars to look at the birds and monkeys. We enjoyed the pool and the privacy of the deck. We also enjoyed the community pool, mini golf and water slides. The home was supplied with everything you could want to cook at home. Would definitely return!

Fantastic views

This villa was great and we would definitely stay again. The pool was lovely and had an ocean view and we spent a lot of time on the patio and in the pool. Kitchen had everything we needed and bed was very comfortable. The area felt private and quiet too without being too far away from shops and the beach.

Great place! Quiet and near the beach

The house was great! It is located in a safe little village of Hermosa Heights. We walked to the beach a couple of times and are at the local restaurants. The walk up the hill can be exhausting if you are not used to that type od terrain. The house has somw many comforts of home and the view is what made the choice for us. We enjoyed the pool every day and watched the sunsets from it every evening. Coco beach is 10 mins away and has more options as far as shops, food, nightlife. Easy to get to by car. Loved everything about our trip! Great place to stay!!!

Spectacular stay

Contemporary, modern home with spectacular views and beautiful sunsets. Stayed with my two boys, 9 + 11, and we all loved the private infinity pool and relaxing atmosphere after a day at the beach or touring nearby National Parks. Super comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, great little coffee shop at entrance. We’ll be back!

Excellent home in Playa Hermosa! Owen's place was a nice home away from home during our stay in Costa Rica. The home was super clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had pots and pans and some seasonings for us to cook with and beach towels and chairs for us to bring on beach days. Our host Corby was also excellent and so responsive! She even got us a discount as part of their property management when we did our zip lining tour with Diamante; which we highly recommend! Our kids, 10 and 11 years old, loved the pool and went in it everyday. The property also had a community pool with 2 smallslides and mini golf. The mini golf could use a little cleaning and upgrade, but we made the best of it. Location is great just a short drive or some walking to the beach and restaurants. Highly recommend the little "soda" restaurant nearby by the mini market. The owner was so I kind and the nachos were yummy! Lastly the view from the home during sunsets were beautiful! Would definitely recommend staying here if you are in Playa Hermosa.

Best view ever!! Amazing infinity pool!!

Amazing property . We loved the private pool and the shared pool. It was equipped with many extras like shampoo , spices, cooking essentials and bbq etc. Our family had a great time of privacy and a reasonable walk to beach and grocery store. We wish we had rented a car to explore as taxis are not really available.and it makes the walk back up easier. Lots of birds to watch every morning and evening.. We will stay again!!

Beautiful stay at Villa Pedro in Playa Hermosa

We just finished our stay at Villa Pedro. It was just as described - met and exceeded expectations. A very comfortable place for our family to stay, central for travelling to various activities. The home had all of the amenities needed. Loved the view of the ocean! Loved the in private pool. The pool in the complex was closed for renovation at the time of our stay, but this was not a problem because of the private pool and the beaches. There is a small grocery store at the base of the vacation-home complex (or bigger ones in nearby Playa Coco) and nearby restaurants for going out. The beach nearby was lovely and options to easily travel to other beaches along the coast. The local beach was within walking distance, though preferred to drive due to the hills! Such a great vacation! Sorry to leave!

Pictures don’t do it justice!

We just returned from our stay in playa hermosa and wish we were still there! This villa is absolutely perfect and I really think the pictures don’t show how beautiful it actially is. The high vaulted wood beamed ceilings and open airy bedrooms were so nice to wake up to. The bathrooms are nicely sized with big showers. And the pool was amazing! So much bigger in person and actually has a shallow/ deep end. My kids loved waking up in the morning and going right out in the pool. The view of the ocean from the pool was perfectly relaxing. The community also has a bigger pool with 2 fun water slides. The location couldn’t be better with just a few minutes drive to the beach and great restaurants. Check in/ communications with the owner and property management was simple with quick responses. We’ve been renting places on Vrbo since 2007 and have seen a share of rentals. This villa is definitely a place we’d like to return to.

We found ourselves falling in love with Costa Rica from our very first visit in 2013 because the people are wonderful.

My sister and I purchased the villa in the spring of 2022 and it holds a lot of meaning for our family. The villa was named in honour of our late father, Peter, and his love for Costa Rica. It is just another small way for us to keep his name and our memories of him in our hearts.
We absolutely love it here and know you will too. It takes no time at all to find yourself relaxing and feeling at home as soon as you walk through the door.
The view of the bay and the gorgeous sunsets will never get old.

Villa Pedro is situated in the gated community of Hermosa Heights. A simple mention of Hermosa Heights to a local will confirm that it is a beautiful place. It is a quiet community of both full-time residences and neighbouring rental villas where you can book a massage, play some mini golf, or take in a movie at the theatre.
