Nestled in a tropical setting, the expansive floor plan with it's glass walls in the main living area combine the beauty of a tropical waterfront location with the comfort of the open relaxed living space. The home features a very large lanai with 2 dining tables for 10 people and a lovely seating area outside the master bedroom.
The house has a very open floor plan, yet affords privacy for all, comfortably sleeping 8. If one group chooses to watch a Netflix movie on the 60 inch TV in the family room, another group can converse or read on the other side of the home or on the spacious lanai.
There are 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. The master suite features a king bed, TV and a HUGE master bath with walk in shower and soaking tub. The 2 guest bedrooms are located on the opposite side of the home from the master. One features a king bed with a TV and sliding glass doors for a private entrance to the lanai. This bedroom is just adjacent to a walk in shower and bathroom. The third bedroom has 2 twin beds and an attached third bathroom. There is also the opportunity to sleep 2 people on the queen sleeper in the family room.
This was constructed with the ADA in mind and is handicap accessible.
The wide canal will accommodate large boats and is only minutes to the intercoastal waterway which connects you to the Atlantic ocean and the Gulf of Mexico . The exterior landscape features diverse plantings such as turkey figs and citrus. Additional privacy and boat maneuverability is created by being located at intersecting canals.
This is truly a home, not just a vacation rental, elegantly appointed and furnished with every amenity needed for a relaxing vacation: linens, towels, beach towels, laundry soap, bath soap, dish detergent, fishing poles, cooler, gas grill, etc, etc, this is a home away from home--just bring your swimsuit!

So glad we chose this home for our family vacation. It fit our family perfect with large open spaces to hang together and a fantastic outdoor space for grilling, eating and pool time. The use of beach chairs, umbrella's, towels etc just topped off the great experience. The neighborhood is safe and quiet, and sitting out overlooking the canal was relaxing.
Very close to shopping, grocery, restaurants and Sanibel and Ft Myers beaches.
The booking process and communication from beginning to end was easy and flawless. Sue is fantastic!
We would stay again for sure!
Loved the property as soon as we got here. It was clean and comfortable. Very spacious and the location on the canal was perfect!
This home was gorgeous inside and out. We had an amazing time. After exploring during the day, we preferred to return to the home, because it was set up so nicely for entertaining. We grilled and ate out at the dining table on the patio by the pool. Then spent the remainder of the evening by the canal. Would definitely return.
I had looked at the pictures of this home for several months before our week arrived. I was not disappointed in any way. The master suite had a spacious jacuzzi tub plus a walk in shower. There were also two sinks. I didn't have to move so my husband could shave while I styled my hair. The beds were very comfortable; the closets were large with plenty of hangers. The kitchen had a nice assortment of cooking utensils along with many pots and pans. I really appreciated having plastic dishes for eating out on the lanai besides the nice ironstone dishes for use in the house. The area is quiet and the view of the canal is great. My grandchildren loved the assortment of floats and toys for use in the pool. It was also nice to have beach toys along with beach chairs and umbrellas.
We enjoyed seafood at Fins on Del Prado, Pinchers just a short distance from the house, and Ford's Garage on Cape Coral Parkway. It was a short drive to Publix's for groceries.
We were so impressed with this house that we have already booked it again for this November.
This was one of the best rental properties in our 20 year history of Florida vacations. Close to shopping and great restaurants as well as the yacht club and beaches. A couple of things to try, Minerva’s is a great restaurant and worth the money and if you want a private dolphin watching tour of fort Myers beach and Sanibel island ask for Captain Paul at the yacht club down the street. On Pelican Drive. If all you want to do is relax by the pool you can watch the dolphins in the canal and enjoy the sunshine. If you don’t want to stop at the toll booth on the Fort Myers bridge get yourself a Sun Pass. A fire pit would have been nice as our first few nights the temperature was on the cool side but after that in the 80s every day. We highly recommend this property and we will be back next year.
We stayed at this home during the Thanksgiving week and had a wonder time. We are a family of 4, well 5 with our dog. The house is very well appointed with anything you’ll need and the appliances are very modern. It is located close to restaurants, Publix (grocery store), a liquor store and the Cape Coral Bridge which takes you to Fort Myers in less than 10 minutes. Fort Myers Beach is approximately 20 minutes and the outlets 15 minutes away.
Being on the canal is great because you can fish or go kayaking on the 2 kayaks included with the house. The house has 2 bicycles but unfortunately we were not able to use them because they had no air in the tires and I couldn’t find an air pump to fill them up.
There is a park which includes a dog area right across the street. You can jog there and in the back there are trails that lead to another canal with mangroves which is great for fishing. During certain times of the year, they even have a butterfly cage that you check out with the family.
We did have a small problem the first day and a half. The pool heater was not working and unfortunately for us it was Sunday when we noticed it. The repair man came out Monday afternoon to fix it and turned out to be a dirty filter. This was a bit frustrating because it could have been avoided and one of the main reasons we picked this house was the heated pool for our boys to enjoy. By Tuesday afternoon the water was already getting to a tolerable temp for the kids to enjoy even with a small cold front that rolled in.
I would certainly consider this home for my next visit to the Fort Myers area.
