You won’t even have to leave the grounds of this sprawling Hatfield cabin to find restaurant-style accommodations and major entertainment. This 6-bedroom, 7-bathroom vacation rental has it all, from the full-sized bar with barstools, tons of booths, game tables, and a large roller rink. Put some music on through the PA system and skate the night away, play some pool, or head outside to relax by the fire pit. Bring your boat, because the beaches and launches of Lake Arbutus are just a walk away.

Jeff and Bunny were so great! They communicated days before our check in and we're always available when we had questions. The Loon Lodge is incredible! Our group ranged in age from 70 down to 3 and there was a crazy amount of games and activities to keep everyone busy and having fun! The Lodge was really clean and exactly as described. We had roller sketes for everyone to give it a try, and most did! Took me back to childhood lol! The beds were very comfortable and most of the rooms have ensuite bathrooms which was great! We appreciated the kitchen and multiple eating areas so everyone could spread out when needed. Aside from dinner one night we never left the lodge and we had a blast!

Our family truly enjoyed our visit to the Loon Lodge in Hatfield in Oct. 2025. We have a large 3 generation family ages 2 to 69. This place is absolutely incredible! Even though it was a beautiful weekend, we had so much to do inside that we barely went outdoors. Anything and everything you could want for a wonderful family weekend was on site. Our family, roller skated, watched sports on the huge screen, had a dance party with the disco ball, DJ booth and colored lights. The lodge was filled with fun interactive games: shuffleboard, air hockey, pinball, ping-pong, darts, badminton, pool table, foosball, basketball game, board and card games, etc. If you can think of a game, it was probably there! The jukebox was so fun. We ate dinner on the wonderful porch outside and enjoyed a fire and s’mores at the amazing fire pit. An industrial dishwasher in the kitchen and flat top grill made meals a breeze! All the rooms were very comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised that the 4 queen rooms each had their own bathroom. The lodge was very clean and well stocked. You really don’t need to bring anything other than food and beverages. The Mug, a bar/pizza place was right next-door. The Inwood Supper Club was a fun experience. The hosts were very accessible and wonderful with communication. Instructions were clearly posted. Every time we reached out, Jeff responded immediately and thoroughly. We made beautiful memories and highly recommend the Loon Lodge and these hosts.

We were there with our family from ages 14 to 77. The property manager was so helpful and quick to respond to any questions. There was so much to do at this property for everyone of all ages. No need to worry about what to do on rainy days. It was fabulous! We would highly recommend it and can't wait to go again.

If you think the online pictures & descriptions are amazing, WAIT UNTIL YOU WALK IN THE DOOR!!! This place was FAR BEYOND our expectations! Jeff & Bunny greeted us & were AMAZING HOSTS! There is EVERYTHING you can imagine at this place you honestly do not need to leave EVER! I felt like we booked a resort & had it all to ourselves! This place is awesome!

This place was a blast! Spent the weekend with a bunch of my girlfriends that were all celebrating our 60th birthday with our daughters. So much to do and so much entertainment for everyone! Plenty of games and activities to keep us all entertained. The accommodations were very clean and the owners made sure to walk us through the property to make sure we knew how to use everything. They provided amenities such as towels, shampoo, conditioner and soap along with complimentary snacks that made for such a nice touch. The industrial kitchen with the 90 second dishwasher was a huge bonus for a big group! They accommodated our every need and were available anytime we had questions.Our hosts, Jeff and Bunny were the BEST!

So much fun to be had wish we could stay longer.

Jeff and Bunny met us at check in to show us all around. They were so friendly and helpful. We were a party of 12. (6 adults 6 kids ) there was something for everyone and more. We can't wait to come back during the summer.

Jeff & Bunny - love them and the Loon Lodge!

Our second visit here and it never disappoints. So many fun games and things to do with the small kids and the big kids. Loved the addition of the LEFT RIGHT CENTER board. Also - 3 antique stores nearby in Hixton and the casino close by. Jeff & Bunny go out of their way to make your stay the very best experience. Entertaining paradise for your family and friends.

One of the best Christmas’s ever! Something for all to do from the oldest to the youngest there wasn’t a dull moment ! We were able to fix n serve our food. Serve drinks while sitting around the bar or the awesome big table they have. Play cards at the card table, skate, bean bags, Shuffle board, air hockey, you name the game they have it ! Bedrooms are perfect and very clean !

We were so excited to go and it was much more than we expected ! We had from 10 to 93 ( almost 94) year olds. It was the perfect place for everyone. Roller skating, air hockey pin ball. Bags, shuffle board are just a few of things to do ! The bedrooms are awesome and so inviting ! ONE of the best things was our 93 year old got to go roller skating ( from her wheel chair with skates on) with all the grandchildren skating around her !! So many wonderful memories were made! Everyone would recommend this place !!❤️

Fall Break

We had high expectations, and this home exceeded those! We had 6 adults and 10 kids, aged 2-12 and they were constantly busy and having a great time- skating, playing arcade games, fishing nearby, basketball and putting tee right outside. Jeff and Bunny were amazing hosts, and responded promptly with any of our questions. Everything was very clean. Our two- year old could run around, and being such a nice open space, we never had to worry where he was. We already booked for next year:)

Most Entertaining House !

Three families had an amazing time and there was never a dull moment! It starts with the great communication prior to check in and the detailed instructions from Jeff and Bunny. We spent hours each day on the rink and loved that skates were supplied! Kids and adults loved the pinball, air hockey and board games! The amazing kitchen made cooking fun and we all loved doing the dishes! We also loved the connected bathrooms with each room! But my favorite part was the disco ball and huge screen where we watched Jurassic Park in surround sound. If you do decide to leave, Mugs next door has the nicest employees and great food! we are actively working on dates to return! This place is outstanding so i highly recommend booking your stay! thanks Jeff and Bunny!

Simply AMAZING!

I feel like 5 stars isn't a high enough rating system for what the owners have done here. I've known what this venue "used" to look like and to see it now is absolutely amazing. Everything you could ever need is here. There is enough entertainment options that 12 adults didn't have to leave for 3 days! Full kitchen, full bar, commercial dishwasher, pizza oven, shake makers, the list can just keep going and going. Our group used to travel all over the country for our weekend get togethers, but all agreed THIS is the place we want to go to every year. Top notch in every capacity!

Amazing experience

We had a large group of friends celebrating a birthday! The hosts met us to make sure we knew how to operate the sound, restaurant style dishwasher, etc. they were such friendly people! The kitchen was well stocked and the bar refrigerators were an unexpected surprise! No need for coolers or ice! I’ve never laughed so hard watching grown people attempt to roller skate! We had the best time!!

Had a blast! Family trip.

Loon Lodge is phenomenal! Jeff and Bunny have thought of everything! Comfortable beds/towels, fully equipped industrial kitchen, great outdoor space, themed rooms, skating, shuffle board, disco lights, dj booth, and SO many games and activities to have fun. (we almost forgot to go outside!) The lodge was very spacious and clean. You can walk to the lake / playground. The Hatfield area is just busy enough to be fun but didn't feel crowded. 10/10 recommend!

Amazing accommodations

The pictures do not illustrate this property properly. It’s huge. We had a large group of friends with children ranging from 6-15 years of age. There was so much room. The kids loved the nonstop roller skating, skates were provided. There were bags, giant jenga, foosball, air hockey, pool, pinball machine, board games. If the kids were bored, they’d move on to the next activity. The industrial kitchen was magnificent. The industrial dishwasher was a favorite amongst the parents. Dishes done in a flash. There is a fire pit in back which we didn’t use but looked amazing. There is a nearby ski/tubing hill which made everybody’s day. The only thing we really missed was a dryer for all those wet jackets but everything hung on the outside railings with the warm, sunny weather. The AV system for the rink was spectacular, easy to use and great for the Super Bowl viewing. We were so pleased with our stay we have already booked next year for our annual Super Bowl trip.

Outstanding venue to create long lasting memories with your friends and family!

Jeff and Bunny have gone out of their way to host an inviting, playful atmosphere for your next mini vacation away from home. They already feel like long time friends - so accommodating and wonderful people. Love the back story on this historic piece of property in Hatfield and how they brought it back to life! So much to do- you’re only bored if you want to be… adults and kids enjoy all the games/activities. General store and bar next door- utv and snowmobile trails right out the front door. Plenty of space for everyone - love the large kitchen and so many garbage cans ( not like the tiny ones you get in a hotel) 😊 can’t wait to come back !!

Incredible venue for groups of all sizes

We had a group of 15 family and friends stay for the last five days. We had an absolute blast with the roller rink which includes a full Sound-system with 10 foot projector tv, a commercial kitchen with every amenity you can think of, a full state of the art tavern-esq bar, the sleeping arrangements and bathrooms were in impeccable shape and Jeff and Bunny couldn’t have been more accommodating, gracious hosts. I would highly suggest anyone looking for a getaway to entertain a group of any size to consider the Loon Lake Lodge. It can sleep substantially more than 15 people if you are OK with air mattresses on the roller rink. Jeff and Bunny were so kind we feel as though we have made a true friendship for life with them. We will definitely return.
