Appartamento Portland City - Appartamento al 3 ° piano: situato in 762 Congress Street. L'appartamento è arredato con tutto il necessario per trascorrere un soggiorno prolungato a Portland o solo un weekend. Due rampe di scale per raggiungere l'appartamento. Questo appartamento si trova a breve distanza a piedi sia dal Maine Medical che dallo stadio Portland Seadog e da numerosi ottimi ristoranti come Local 188, Hot Suppo, Tempo Dulu, Little Tap House, Pai Men Miyake, Bolster, Snow & Co, The Green Elephant, Caiola's, Bonobo e molti altri.

C'è un parcheggio fuori strada che è disponibile per una macchina. All'interno dell'appartamento, troverete tutti i nuovi elettrodomestici in cucina e forno a microonde. L'appartamento è stato arredato con mobili in stile europeo ed è estremamente accogliente. Cucina aperta che si affaccia sulla sala TV. La camera da letto è un grande letto king-size. Internet wireless è disponibile. Non c'è TV via cavo. Solo WIFI. Questo appartamento è aperto sia a breve che a lungo termine. Abbiamo una finestra AC nella camera da letto e ventilatori per il resto delle stanze. In cucina, ci sono due lucernari che una volta aperti rilasciano calore dalla cucina. Stiamo anche aggiungendo un'unità CA aggiuntiva nel soggiorno nel caso fosse necessario.

Il West End è un quartiere del centro di Portland, nel Maine. Si trova sul lato occidentale della penisola di Portland principalmente su Bramhall Hill ed è noto per la sua architettura e storia. Il quartiere ospita un gran numero di case e parchi storici e, nel 2010, è stato definito "uno dei meglio conservati.

L'appartamento ha spazio per un materasso gonfiabile per esigenze di sonno supplementari o il divano può essere utilizzato per ospitare il sonno, se necessario. L'appartamento è più adatto per single e coppie. O piccole famiglie con un bambino.

Quirky and fun apartment. Great artwork. Shower in a clawfoot bathtub was hot. Kitchen was large and well equipped. Loved the skylights. Location was superb. Easy walk down to Old Port, the museums. Fabulous breakfast at Tandems less than 5 minutes away.

Wonderful visit to Portland

What a great apartment - the top floor of a graceful old building in a very walkable neighborhood in downtown Portland - a 60 second walk from the wonderful Tandem Coffee. The apartment was well-appointed and had a timeless ambiance. Great fun!

Spacious apartment on third floor. Beautiful space with lots of natural light. Our host was accommodating and responsive. We loved the location and walked everywhere in downtown Portland.

Amazing place

The place is amazing. We spent a long weekend there. It’s spacious and Well stocked with everything a family will need. It’s close to everything important in Portland, and we could walk everywhere by parking our car in our designated parking slot. The host Brad was reachable anytime I had any question, He helped make our trip a memorable one. Overall I highly recommend this place to anyone wishing to travel with family to Portland.

Great Location, Cozy Apt!

My husband and our pups loved this apartment. Great location with easy parking, plus loved the decor of the place! I'd be aware of the lack of AC in the summer months, but we had great weather and didn't have any issues. Owner was great and easy to communicate with, provided a ton of tips and great directions. We would definitely rent again when we return to Portland! Thanks for the great stay :)

Awesome!!

Don't get duped by the pictures, the apartment is bigger and cozier than on the pictures. The bed is comfortable and the kitchen is big enough to make food. Everything is walkable except the beach.

Spacious and well-decorated apartment

We were happily surprised to discover that this apartment was more spacious than we expected. The decor was eclectic and attractive. We loved the location because we could easily walk anywhere downtown and to the Western Promenade. The stairs are very narrow and steep if that might be an issue for someone. We would definitely rent this apartment again when we’re in Portland.

Quirky and a surprise

Getting luggage up to third floor a little hard, but once your there, we loved it. It felt like it was totally the right place to be staying in Portland with all their huge brick homes! Very clean and roomy. Loved the antiques and who doesn’t love a claw foot tub! Definitely walkable to lots of activities. Owner was very involved in seeing that everything was ok! We loved it and had a great time in Portland.

Cool place

My husband and I had a lovely time here. Brad was very friendly and helpful and easy to reach. We didn’t really cook much so I can’t speak to that. There are tons of great restaurants around. The neighborhood is fun and cool. Pro tip: if you plan on sticking around town, don’t rent a car. You don’t need it and parking in Portland is rough. A large car would be hard to park in the allotted space.

Heart attack

Rat droppings in closet. 3rd floor- Not good for people over 70. It was a workout getting luggage up 2 flights of stairs. This should be a part of description.

Dear Edwin, Fortunately, it was not rodent-related but water that had leaked on some old sheets in the closet. We had a company come out, and there were no signs on any of the floors. No one has made this claim for the entire summer! Regarding the stairs, you and your wife used the back door rather than the main entrance, which has a very wide staircase, as described in the listing. When we spoke, I offered you a full refund because I realized there were other dynamics causing the stress, and I hope you are grateful for this gesture.

The apartment layout, furnishings and decor are terrific. We especially loved the gas fireplace which provided warmth and ambiance; as well as the skylights in the kitchen. Every possible amenity we wanted, was on premises. Even creamer and a lactose free alternative for morning coffee (also provided.) The only downside to the apartment is that the bedroom faces the street and there is street noise. We ran the stand alone fan which provided "white noise" and helped to a certain extent.

Charming and convenient Portland apartment!

This property was extremely charming and convenient! We enjoyed using the kitchen and the bathroom/shower was in fantastic condition! We were visiting Portland during an unusual heat wave and found that the single window unit was not enough to effectively cool the apartment down so we were quite hot for the duration of our stay unfortunately. Additionally, we found the mattress on the bed to be quite uncomfortable. With the addition of a better temperature control system and a new mattress or mattress topper I would give this place 5 stars! Thank you for your hospitality!

Perfect Portland Getaway!

My wife and I stayed in this apartment for our honeymoon and were so happy with our stay! The apartment is very spacious, clean, and has all the amenities you’d need. The location is EXCELLENT - within walking distance of all the great shops and restaurants on Congress St. and also very walkable to Old Port. We were nervous that the fire station being on the same block would be disruptive, but we only heard sirens a few times. The apartment is quiet for being on a main road. It’s on the third floor so it’s a lot of stairs to get up to it - just something to keep in mind if you have any mobility issues. Brad was very communicative and a great host! We LOVED staying here and will plan on staying again the next time we’re in Portland!

Keyless lock issue and a live freaking bat

Pros: Property was attractive and *largely* in good condition, architecturally interesting, comfortable bed, good location. Cons: 1) bedroom rug needs a good steam clean (felt gummy), 2) bedroom window lets in a lot of ambient noise (impossible to sleep through early-morning construction next door), 3) host provided incorrect instructions on how to lock keyless entry doors (our belongings were unsecured for hours while we were out to dinner), and 4) not all of the windows have good screens so A BAT GOT INTO THE APARTMENT AND WE HAD TO GO TO THE ER FOR RABIES VACCINATIONS. Host said it must have been a sparrow, then admitted they’d had bats before if windows were left open. But there were no warnings not to open X window because its screen didn’t work or we might let in a bat! That’s what window screens are for!! We checked out early and the host issued us a refund without complaint for the nights we didn’t stay at his place, but we lost a significant portion of our vacation, had to miss out on planned activities, and felt like crap half the time we were there thanks to this fiasco. And we still have to dedicate time and money to it now that we’re home since rabies is a 4-part series that apparently many medical facilities besides ERs won’t do due to its complexity. Fun. I need a vacation from having tried to go on vacation. 😣 Maybe this seems silly to some, but bats getting into people’s homes isn’t a problem you hear about where I live.

Dear Guest: We have not had any challenges with entry, and in fact, you were not locking the lock correctly. My tenant showed you! In regards to the open windows that allowed a creature to come into the apartment. I have no control over this, and this happened 3 years ago, and a window was also left open at that point. Once you left we had no creatures come into the apartment, no issues with keyless locks.

Location, Location, Location

We enjoyed a 6-night stay. Can't beat the location for visiting Old Port, Art District, Portland Head Light, and breweries in East End. Easy access to highways for exploring beyond Portland area. Guaranteed parking great but tight. Spacious apartment with lots of charm and character for 2 or 3 guests. Modern kitchen with ample cooking and dining provisions. Free use of shared laundry room with newer washer and dryer. Would emphasize this apartment is the 3rd floor/attic of a townhome built in 1890 so first impressions of exterior and interior are not great. Husband and I are in our 50's but no problem using stairs as mentioned in a previous review. Questionable professional cleaning because of dust on decor, ceiling fan, blinds and pink mold on shower liner, but everything otherwise appeared clean. Minimal instructions from owner, and he contacted us with checkout instructions after we left.
