Portland City Apartment--3rd Floor Apartment: Located at 762 Congress Street. The apartment is furnished with everything you need to enjoy an extended stay in Portland or just a weekend getaway. This apartment is within walking distance to both Maine Medical and the Portland Seadog stadium, and a number of great restaurant locations such as Local 188, Hot Suppo, Tempo Dulu, Little Tap House, Pai Men Miyake, Bolster, Snow & Co, The Green Elephant, Caiola's, Bonobo, and many others.

There is off street parking that is available for one car. Inside the apartment you will find all new appliances in kitchen, and microwave. The apartment has been furnished with European style furniture, and is extremely cozy. Open Kitchen that looks into the TV room. The bedroom is a large king size bed. Wireless internet is available. This apartment is open for both short term and long term.

The West End is a downtown neighborhood in Portland, Maine. It is located on the western side of Portland's peninsula primarily on Bramhall Hill and is noted for its architecture and history. Apartment is a third floor walk-up. This is a dog friendly apartment, but your pet must be trained. Your dog cannot be left behind during the day when going out for long period of time's. This is a very cozy apartment that is best suited for single's, couple's and couple's with small children. Walking distance to all that downtown Portland offer's.

Quirky and a surprise

Getting luggage up to third floor a little hard, but once your there, we loved it. It felt like it was totally the right place to be staying in Portland with all their huge brick homes! Very clean and roomy. Loved the antiques and who doesn’t love a claw foot tub! Definitely walkable to lots of activities. Owner was very involved in seeing that everything was ok! We loved it and had a great time in Portland.

Charming but hot.

The pros: Adorable home exploding with charm. The amenities offered (full kitchen, full bath with claw foot tub, king size bed, etc.) were all extremely clean and well kept. The bed is literally a giant marshmallow that may be one of the most comfortable sleeps I’ve ever had.

The location was awesome—just a few blocks from amazing restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. A longer walk (about 20 minutes) will take you to the heart of Old Port. We walked most places easily, but would sometimes take an über—less than $10 per ride.

The owner was easy to work with and did a great job of reaching out to make sure we had directions on where to park and how to get in the place.

The (1) con(s): I understand that a majority of homes in Portland do not have air conditioning, especially not Victorian homes converted into apartments. I also realize that heatwaves in the area are few and far between, and perhaps we just selected the hottest weekend to be there. But that place was HOT, and fans did little to help. The saving grace was the fact that the bedroom had a small window AC unit—honestly, if this hadn’t been present, we would not have been able to stay at this home.

In the end, we had such a great time exploring the city and surrounding areas that the apartment was simply a place to sleep and shower, and therefore served its purpose well. If it had been cooler, perhaps we would have hung out at the apartment more, but we had a fantastic trip regardless.

Awesome Apartment in Perfect Location!

I had the most amazing stay at Brad's apartment--I cannot praise it enough!

The apartment: Brad's apartment is absolutely adorable--it is well decorated, it is unique, has lots of windows, has a great layout, is spacious yet cozy, and is just generally a lovely place to stay. The king bed in the bedroom is INSANELY comfortable. The couch is great--although I think it is part of a sectional and I kept hitting my knee on a hard spot every time I plopped down in the corner (minor issue). There also is a single sized air mattress. The kitchen is well stocked and has great sky lights that keep the unit full of light.

The location: There are many great cafes and restaurants within a few blocks of the apartment (although the area does feel very residential--with a little bit of Google and Yelp'ing, however, you quickly find there are a large number of great spots within only a few blocks). It is also a very easy walk (~20 minutes) down to the water/main downtown are of Old Port. We loved staying up by the apartment, but also being able to easily explore further. If walking isn't for you, it's a quick Uber ride (and Uber's are everywhere).

Overall, I would definitely recommend staying at Brad's apartment!

Cute, comfortable apartment in great location!

Needed a place to stay on short notice in Portland and lucked out that this gem was available! Clean, comfortable, and decorated with some very lovely artwork. Owner has fantastic communication, and was a pleasure to work with. My husband and I had nice weather for our stay and were able to walk down to Old Port for dinner . Was also able to easily navigate my way to Back Cove the next morning for a run (and got a little bonus hill workout coming up Deering Ave :) ) Enjoyed probably one of the best breakfasts I've ever had at the restaurant Hot Suppa, which is nearly across the street! Would definitely try to book here again if my travels take me to Portland !

Super Cute Portland Apartment

This apartment was perfect for a weekend couples getaway to Portland. Within walking distance of everything we wanted to do, but still far enough out of the touristy part of town to feel like we were hanging out a bit off the beaten path. The apartment was clean and perfect for the two of us. Would definitely stay again!
