Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We're absolutely delighted to hear that our property was exactly what you were looking for and that you enjoyed a quiet, relaxing, and beautiful stay. It makes us so happy to know that it accommodated your family of six adults comfortably. We appreciate your recommendation and can't wait to welcome you back again soon!
This is the BEST location - you are literally on the beach! So great with little kids who want to run back to house to potty or snack. The house is a little dated - washing machine/dryer are super tiny and the dishwasher barely works. Other than that, would definitely recommend! We loved it!
The house is beautiful and the location on the beach is outstanding. We were in a grouping of 4 units and the other 3 still in a bare studs condition so it was amazing that this property has been repaired so beautifully so quickly. They were replacing roofs on all 4 of the properties so there was a lot of construction debris and cords and noise but this property is so nice that it made it easier to put up with that. Subsequent visitors will be able enjoy this outstanding property without the mess. The communication with the property manager before our stay was excellent but we struggled with them a bit about a front door lock issue during the stay. They would always respond quickly but kept trying to blame the issue on “user error” instead of an actual mechanical error. They finally admitted that the issue was difficult to address because of it being a specialized hurricane door and given the multitude of post-hurricane issues that they must be encountering, we were OK with that. If they had just admitted the issue in the first place, we would have had no issues with the property manager.
Overall we were satisfied with this beach house. As advertised, it was on a private beach about 100 yards from the water. Being the summer, we had no nearby neighbors, so we essentially had the beach all to ourselves. House accommodated our family of 4 adults and 4 young children; didn't use the 2nd queen bed in one of the bedrooms. House had plenty of towels, including beach towels. Biggest house drawback was the kitchen. It was small and narrow, so difficult for 2 people to work in it at the same time. It had a smaller sized, side-by-side refrigerator, and the freezer side was missing shelves. It quickly ran out of ice. The electric stove top had a tendency to over heat, and there was only a few, old cooking pans. The dining area had a table that seated 8 people. There was a large couch, but not much else to sit on if 10 people wanted to watch TV at the same time. There is a community pool and gas BBQ one house away. House had 4 beach chairs and two large umbrellas; no beach cart or other beach items. Did experience there being a lot of sand fleas on the beach, even during the day; it was worse at night. We brought all the food we needed for the week, as there are limited outside food options.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your detailed feedback about your recent stay at our beach house. We are delighted that you enjoyed the private beach and the spaciousness that comfortably accommodated your family.
We appreciate your honest feedback regarding the kitchen. We understand that the size and amenities could be improved, and we will certainly take your comments into consideration as we make future updates to the house. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by the lack of freezer shelves and limited cookware. We are also looking into ways to address the stove top's tendency to overheat.
The seating in the living area is a valid point, and we will explore adding more options for larger groups to comfortably gather. We are glad you enjoyed the community pool and BBQ.
It's unfortunate that you encountered sand fleas during your stay. They can be a nuisance, especially at night. We will make sure to provide more information about this in our house guide for future guests.
We're also grateful for your tip about bringing food. We are working on updating our local recommendations to include more options for dining out, but it's always helpful for guests to be prepared.
We hope that despite these minor drawbacks, you were able to make wonderful memories with your family at our beach house. We would love to welcome you back again in the future, and we are committed to making your next stay even more enjoyable.
