Just a weekend get away
We were really surprised that the listing was so far off the actual cabin conditions.
We had the cabin reserved for 3 nights. The listing stated all linens were provided. To our surprise we only had 2 bath towels for the 3 nights and hot tub use. We contacted the owner and they had towels brought in the second day again to our surprise they were just left on the front poarch in a laundry bag. The problem with that was it rained most of the day and some of the towels were wet so we had to dry them.
The second issue was that the cabin was listed as a queen size bed but only had a full. Me being a tall individual it was too short and the combination of a short bed and poor quality pillows sleep was not the best and far from a sleep haven listed in the site.
The kitchen wasn’t well stocked and we had to purchase kitchen knives and some spatulas to be able to cook meals.
The final issue was the unit had a roof leak above the couch that suprised us as we sat and watched tv the second night. We just gave up at that point contacting the owner. And apology and we’ll look into that only goes so far.
Overall the cabin wasn’t what we expected from the listing and would not choose this rental in the future.
