Cute little house; could use some repairs
Property managers were very aggressive about getting final payment made (called and texted us multiple times that day and never sent a link/invoice to make the payment until we called and complained to VRBO), but were very responsive during our stay. They sent a plumber out to the property to check on the leaking bathtub during our stay. The property was fairly clean, but there were cob webs in the corners and mold in the dishwasher. The property also needs some updating/repairs: one of the bathtubs were leaking water through the ceiling, the toilet paper holder in the downstairs bathroom was held in with one screw (fell off and broke), 2/3 of the toilets didn’t flush well, the kitchen had a missing outlet plate/cover, one of the queen beds had an undersized (full size) box spring under the queen mattress, two additional mattresses were stored in one closet so clothes could not be hung, plus some additional cosmetic repairs needed. Kitchen had most of what we needed but it would have been helpful to have some measuring spoons/cups available and more than 4 bowls. Some instructions on where to empty trash cans and how to use the hot tub would also be helpful to renters (we never used the hot tub). We were also only given 4 bath towels, but reserved the house for 5 occupants. Small hand soaps were nice to have until we purchased hand soap pumps to use for the week. Overall our stay was fine, though we didn’t hang out at the house much. Neighborhood was quiet.
