We had a great time!

The apartment was perfect for our family of 5. The Hyatt Vacation Club was a beautiful property with extremely helpful staff. The pool is amazing and our kids liked being able to use the waterslide next door at the Hyatt Regency. The view from the apartment is amazing, I wish I were still looking at it. The beach immediately in front of the property is a little small but it’s a short walk to Kaanapali beach which has great surfing, snorkeling, etc. It’s about a mile walk to Black Rock which has amazing snorkeling, cliff jumping, etc. There are also plenty of dining options that are walkable, including at whaler’s village. We loved our time here and can’t wait to go back.

Good, but not as advertised

All of the pools at the Hyatt Grand Vacation were closed. They made the property at the Hyatt Regency available but that pool was under construction with Heavy equipment operating on the pool deck

Perfect vacation

Beautiful property with spacious, well appointed rooms. Awesome ocean views from the large lanai. Have stayed next door at the Hyatt Regency for years, first time at the Hyatt Residence, won’t be the last!!!

Stellar residence in an amazing location.

While my family and I had stayed at the Hyatt Regency Maui in the past, I had never stayed at the Hyatt Residences next door. It was well appointed and spacious, with an expansive balcony that has a wide open view of the ocean and Lana’i island. Guests at the Hyatt Residences have privileges both at the Residence property and the Hyatt Regency hotel next door. The bathroom off of the primary bedroom is luxurious, with a huge tub that you can sit in and listen to the ocean when you open the sliding glass door to the balcony. The full kitchen was first rate and the in-unit washer dryer is very convenient to keep packing light. 100% will be back to this property.

Absolutely gorgeous property!

Our stay at the Hyatt Residence Club will be an unforgettable experience. The resort is gorgeous, the rooms are spacious, and the views are spectacular. All the staff have been kind and helpful. It has been great to be able to use the facilities next door at the Hyatt Regency, but then be able to enjoy the calm ambiance here at the Residence Club. Yoga classes in the morning by the ocean, under the palm trees was just amazing. The folks at Maui Rentals have been responsive every step of the way. We will definitely be booking with them again if we are ever lucky enough to visit Hawaii for a second time.

This property was excellent for two couples. Provided privacy., lanai was awesome

We had a great vacation. Lots of space, 2 good size bathrooms and laundry was very convenient. We also loved the pools. However the couch was extremely dirty and had ripped cushion . Other than that everything was perfect!!

Amazing vacation resort.

Very pleased with overall experience we had. Friendly, helpful people. I would definitely return. Beautiful & relaxing. My only complaint is check in. Rooms aren’t ready when arriving & you have to wait with no place to go for several hours.

Great location and accommodations!

Hyatt Residence Maui Ka’anapali is the best resort and rooms on Maui. We upgraded from two to three bedrooms and it’s more than 2k sq feet of comfort and views. This will be the only place we stay going forward.

Week with family in Maui

The Hyatt Residence Club is the perfect family destination. The kids loved the pools, the access to the Hyatt Hotel pool next door and the easy access to the beach and all the other activities.

Beautiful Timeshare

We went with 3 families in 3 different timeshares. We all liked ours the best (Hyatt, Marriott next door, the new Westin Nanea). Beautiful grounds, good service and NOT VERY BIG so not crowded. Great food service, bar, decent beach, close to everything. Nice kitchen with better than normal appliances, flatware, plates, etc. Nice rooms, good TVs. Excellent grounds. We ordered Thanksgiving from the hotel and food for 12 was delivered. Great food, great service, no clean up! If you want a timeshare in Maui near Kaanapali, this is the place to go. I gave the online listing accuracy 4 stars as I think they could have done a better job explaining which floor we were on, the view, etc. All of the Hyatt listings look similar/generic.

Beautiful accommodations and perfect location!

Our family of six had a wonderful vacation staying at the Hyatt Residence Club. I didn’t think it would actually look like the pictures posted but it truly did, in fact even better. We loved our unit, the valet parking, the pools, and especially that gorgeous view! I will definitely come back!

Great stay at Hyatt Residence

We enjoyed a lovely one-week stay in a 2-bedroom oceanfront unit at the Hyatt Residences. The staff was courteous and professional upon our arrival and our unit was spotlessly clean with a fantastic view. My only complaint is that the two bedroom units seems a bit tight compared to other two bedroom vacation rentals we have stayed in. The second bedroom only has one queen sized bed and a pullout twin bed. It worked for us but it didn't leave much room for movement around the bedroom. Also note that the second bathroom only has one sink. With four children sharing the second bathroom it was a little inconvenient. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. The grounds are beautiful and a little quieter than the Hyatt Resort, especially since we were there at the height of the December holiday season. I would've liked it if the Residence offered more evening entertainment (perhaps nightly music by the pool). All in all, we had a great trip and are likely to return.

Absolutely beautiful property

We stayed here in a 2 bedroom for a week with our two teenage children. The rooms are very upscale, impeccably clean and top notch service. Valets have your car to you every time within minutes, housekeeping or front desk will always supply you with anything you need more of, and of course the oceanfront view with the constant sound of waves crashing on the beach is heavenly

Fantastic Vacation

Our family loved our week at the Hyatt Residence Club. The rooms were very clean and well appointed. The staff is so friendly. My kids really enjoyed all the daily activities. The pool was lovely and a refreshing change from the caos at the Hyatt Regency pool. We hope to return again next year.

We stayed in a two bedroom/2bath villa on the 8th floor. The views from the MB and living area was ideal. The kitchen is well appointed with everything you need to prepare brkfst, lunch, or dinner. The villa was parallel with the beach. The beach is okay but much wider at the Marriott however the Marriott pool sits further back so there is the trade off if you are deciding between the two. Hyatt smaller beach but great view of ocean from every poolside chair and Marriott very little ocean view from the pool but wide beach. Also, if you want a paddle board or boogie board rent the item the first day of your stay because equipment goes quickly. (rentals are at the far side of Hyatt hotel) Our son enjoyed the both pools. The Hyatt residence had just enough activities for our son including laser tag one night. As far as food options, stock up your kitchen unless you enjoy spending 100.00 poolside for lunch. There are plenty of grocery stores near by that also stock liquor. The only thing I can really ding this resort for is there recycling program. I was really disappointed there was not a separate receptacle nor was there any information on how the resort recycles plastics, glass, and paper products. I would stay here again.
