Very clean, well stocked kitchen, and well furnished! In a great neighborhood. Really appreciated the art with scripture references and bible in the night stand. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends!
House was great , we saw a dear off the patio, a bunch of turkeys and deer when entering and exiting the grounds. beds were comfortable and clean. coffee and condiment were there for our use. thanks for a great stay, plenty room for 3 couples
Great location for accessing everything in the area. Just out of town enough to be secluded, but still convenient. House was a great layout for our family to use.
This home had plenty of room for the 5 adults that went on a quick 2 night getaway. We saw deer in the yard both mornings and sat outside in the evenings with drinks and just enjoyed the surroundings. The home has everything you could need for a comfortable stay.
We came to Wytheville to celebrate a family member's 40th birthday at a nearby winery. The property was nice and quiet. The only small issue was that due to the time of year, there were pincher bugs in the bathrooms. Freaked me out alittle.

From the Owner: "Thanks for the review, Mary. We’ll have the property treated for seasonal insects and will remedy the situation quickly. We hope to host you again soon!"
Commnication before we checked in was a breeze and quick to respond. House was just as pictured and described. Only thing that could have better was the water pressure. Everything else was fantastic! Will stay again when in the area!

Wytheville whisk away
Very quiet and naturistic! Everyday always greeted by the deers and turkeys which we so enjoyed. We were there for the Bristol race and the drive was not bad at all. The home is very clean and charming and we will definitely be back!

Clean, Comfy and welcoming home
Excellent house! Very clean and well appointed. We had everything we needed with comfortable beds, high quality bedding and towels, extremely clean bathrooms and lots of space to relax. Kitchen is well stocked to prepare meals.Property was easy to locate, peaceful and we felt very safe. Will definitely rent again when we are back in Wytheville to visit family!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home in the mountains and would happily return. The house was very clean, spacious, and comfortable, with high-quality materials and finishes and graceful decor. The house was tucked into a beautiful wooded hillside. The views from inside the house were gorgeous and the back patio was a wonderful place to relax. We saw bunnies and deer in the yard every day we were there.
Home was extremely clean and well taken care of located in a beautiful area just outside Wytheville City limits. They layout of this home was wonderful master siite on one side of the home and 2 more rooms at the other end with their own shared bathroom. In-between you will find a large Livingroom, well stocked kitchen with breakfast nook and additional dinning room. Just down the hall from the master you will find a well taken care of laundry room. Additionally you with find a covered porch, just beyond that is located a table w/ chairs, firepit and bbq. Not to mention the covered front porch with 2 rocking chairs and additional chairs for sitting enjoying the view of all the wildlife walking through the yard and in other yards in the area. Truly a hidden gem in the area.
We chose this property for our relocation trip and couldn't have been happier with our decision. Its central location made exploring the area a breeze. The house was impeccably clean, cozy, and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. After long days of property hunting, it was a relief to come back to a relaxing space where we could unwind with our family and enjoy home-cooked meals. The only minor suggestions we have for the owners are to consider providing heavier blankets, especially for cooler nights, and perhaps adding a toaster to the kitchen amenities. Overall, a fantastic experience that we'd highly recommend.
In Wytheville VA for a wedding. The house was much more than we expected! Beautiful, comfortable and so roomy! Master BR & bath on one end of house with two bedrooms on the other end and bathroom in between. Large LR with comfortable sofas & chairs. Kitchen well equipped but without a toaster. Kcup coffee machine with available pods, creamer & all sweeteners supplied. Also tea

Quiet comfort to relax and recharge
Arrived late afternoon of Friday after a long drive from Tidewater, and a quick stop at Tres Portillo for dinner, highly recommend. What a great front yard setting with wild turkey and deer crossing the hills across the street. This was a great retreat for a couple of young seniors and grandchildren to hang together, yet have some space. This was a central hub for biking the Virginia Creeper Trail from Damascus, and rafting the upper James from Buchanan to Acadia. All kitchen amenities are available, great selection of Keurig’s were on hand, well appointed primary bedroom as well as two other bedrooms. The pictures advertised are what you will have on hand, very comfortable, very quiet, VERY country!!Shout out to High Plains Barbecue as well, tried everything, loved everything.
