Welcome to Comfort Home Stays in Campden General Store!

This glammed up modern farmhouse sits atop Campden General Store. It is in the heart of this quaint hamlet surrounded by Niagara Benchlands wineries, local scenic such as Ball's Falls, hiking trails and golf courses as well as agricultural farms and market stands.

The apartment has two bedrooms and each with an ensuite. It is equipped with kitchen essentials needed if you feel like preparing your own meals. You can easily come down the store for groceries or go to the coffee bar if you want to unwind while perusing the products we do offer in the store.

The store has a coffee bar and a convenience store. Picture yourself capping the night perusing through the local products while having coffee or tea to talk about a fabulous day you had.

It is along a regional road so it is very convenient; It is just less than 5 minutes drive to Ball's Falls and Twenty Valley golf course and central to an array of wineries and breweries, hiking trails and farms.

It is an hour away from Toronto and 1 hour from the US border (Buffalo) and only 25 minutes from Niagara Falls/Niagara on the Lake. Take the country road so you can explore different villages around the area.

Please see our other listing. This is also perfect if you are looking for accommodation for a family or corporate events. You can book both units along with the meeting room downstairs to suit your event. The store offers coffee bar as well as a conference room for meetings and a retail store so it is very convenient.

Property was great, comfortable and had all amenities. We had trouble with the entry code. Once in, it was quiet and had everything we needed.

The location was great - perfect spot to enjoy a weekend of wine tasting! One little snag was that the email I received with the entry code and wifi had different information than the info on the VRBO app. Otherwise, very cute well-maintained and spacious place!

Accommodations were lovely and very clean. Only downside is incorrect code for door was provided and Wi-Fi password did not work. Outdoor area could use some sprucing up.Overall, I would recommend. Location is phenomenal and accommodations are very nice. Lloyd, from the general store is a sweetheart.

Great Space

Everything was clean and organized. Check in and check out were both smooth processes and the host was quick to respond to questions beforehand. It’s a great location and was 5 minutes away from Ball’s Falls. Easy to get to and accessible parking in front.

Stay in the wine region

The property is in a great location and really peaceful. The property manager kindly waited for us to arrive to show us in. We enjoyed our stay and the beds are super comfortable. We found there was an unpleasant smell when the water was used. The property manager assured us this is because it came up from a deep well.

Summer 2024

Stayed with friends on the last leg of a 2 week summer vacation. This apartment is very clean and comfortable. The best VRBO property we stayed in on this trip. The host is amazing. Although the area is rural it has great access to the wineries, restaurants, and other attractions in the area. The apartment has access up a flight of stairs. Would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Our hosts helped carry our luggage up the (rather steep) stairs, and were very amicable and approachable after. I think we were among the first guests for this property - at least, it seemed so. Some trivial amenities were not present - a few K-cups for the coffee would've been nice, salt & pepper weren't stocked. It's recently been updated, and the furnishings are nice and the apartment comfortable. I can't really comment on value, because I didn't shop around extensively, but I would pay the same to stay again.

The property was spacious and clean! There was a fold-out couch but there didn’t seem to be sheets for it. There was access through the general store and from outside once the store was closed which was nice. However, the outside stairs are very steep and were missing a good rail. The tap water had a strange odor but the host supplied a large bottle of water with a pump.

Cute Apartment

Cute little apartment. Easy to find. The only thing is that the listing says there is a pull out couch but it’s more of a futon. Lucky we had a woman and her daughter fit but would be pretty small for two adults. Beautiful bathrooms! Large kitchen, but there was a random bowl of soup in the fridge from the previous renters lol so maybe just double check that no one left food. AC in each room worked perfectly!! Very nicely decorated!

Campden General Store

Check in was quick and easy at the Campden General Store. The apartment was just up the stairs and convenient for making purchases at the store. Kitchen was clean and had all the needed items. The entire apartment was clean and the beds were comfy! I would definitely stay here again!
