About Sandra BK
Your hosts, Sandra and Ram, live next door, and are available most of the time. We respect your privacy, and realize not everyone wants to chat. So we will not bother you if you want to enjoy and explore on your own. But if you want tips on local wildlife, outdoor adventures, or anything else - talk to Ram! He is an active adventure guide from Nepal. He is also the owner of one of Florida's most popular ecotour companies called BK Adventure! He loves to tell guests stories of Himalayan adventure, and locally, he takes people into the wild to show them "REAL" Florida on his amazing kayaking and biking tours. So, he loves interacting with guests. He was recently featured on a Nat Geo Wild episode called "Untamed!" He took the National Geographic team to see Florida's wild monkeys on the Crystal River. In summertime, you will see Ram and his team departing nightly on kayaking tours to see Florida Bioluminescence as it lights up the coast near Cocoa Beach. In autumn and winter, the eco adventure team is busy mountain biking in Seminole forest, or kayaking with manatees and dolphins on the Indian River. Ram can tell you the best places to see "wild Florida" - including how to find the mysterious wild monkeys. Sandra is an educator and doctoral student dedicated to social entrepreneurship. She is a Florida local (since childhood), and loves to tell you about her hometown of Saint Cloud. They are both next door when not working (or when not in Nepal coordinating their Eco-Volunteer adventures in the Himalaya) to answer all your questions and help you enjoy "wild Florida!"

Why Sandra BK chose St Cloud
This unique little house is decorated with things we bring back from Nepal (our second home). It is surrounded by ancient Live Oaks, which makes it a bird-lovers paradise. If you love waking up to the sun coming through the window, and birds chirping in the trees... this is a perfect place for you. We pride ourselves in offering you a spot that is out of the tourist hub but close enough you can still enjoy the parks, beaches, and attractions of Central Florida. You get: A Fully equipped kitchen; 2 bedrooms (1 Queen bed; 2 twin beds) and 2 couches (1 pull outs, one large comfy couch) in living room. Dining room. Living room. Outside chairs to sit in backyard garden. Picnic area. Swing in old oak tree for kids. Right next to protected wildlife area. Plenty of space to run around for children. Nice neighborhood for walking, biking, and experiencing real Florida lifestyle. You should book this house if: you love nature, the sounds of birds in the morning, enjoy sitting outside, want to experience an old Florida town, want to enjoy the nature, biking, playgrounds, beach around East Lake Toho, and want to be centrally located to Orlando, Disney and beaches (all 30-45 minutes). If you wanted to stay at a 5 star resort that is 5 minutes from all the parks, and in the busy tourist area, this might not be a first choice. But if you live for peace, quiet and nature... stay with us! We try our best to give you a 5-star Nature Lover's experience. This is our personal guesthouse and our friends and family love to stay in this space when visiting Florida. They loved it so much, we decided to open it up to vacationing guests year 'round. It is our intention to host you in this lovely little house that is surrounded by trees and birds, and to help you have an amazing time on your visit to Orlando and nearby wild Florida attractions. The house is super clean and comfy, as we want you to feel welcome and cared for. The comment we get most is "it was so peaceful."
What makes this Cottage unique
This is an old Florida neighborhood, so houses are well spaced out. This property is on 2.6 acres of land with huge oak and cypress trees. It is a quiet neighborhood, but near the main highway 192. This is in the heart of Florida's nature trail. Nearby are "Wild Florida" (recommended), Airboat Rides, Ziplining, Kayaking, Biking, and Florida Birding Trail, and hiking. There are also many playgrounds and parks nearby. Saint Cloud public swimming pool is $3 per person, and is 4 miles away. There are many restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Starbucks is 4 miles, but Dunkin Donut is less than 1 mile. Seafood restaurants, Chilis, Tijuana Flats, Gator's Dockside (not actually near a dock), other popular chain restaurants are nearby, as well as some quaint local places in the old town district of Saint Cloud. Crabby Bill's is at the Saint Cloud Lakefront, and is popular with the locals. They have an outside deck, and live music on weekends. It is fun to take a picnic down to the lake and sit on the beach too.

Clean and Comfortable
The home was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were very pleasant and hospitable. Beautiful plants in the property with a great yard to walk my beagle baby. It was close enough to a nice park to walk to if I'd had the time.
We were in town for a convention at Silver Spurs Arena. The commute was great.
What a wonderful respite!
Thanks to your entire family for the hospitality. The serenity of your cottage was just what we needed after long hard days. Wish we'd known about you years ago! Love the new blue color. The Smiths
"Home Away From Home"
The size of the "house" is just right and everything was "spic & span". Utensils, linens, everyday ordinary supplies were amble, and even furniture was all one would need. The location is excellent and pertinent stores are nearby. The owner's family were helpful when needed and I would certainly recommend this "home" to everyone.
great place for pets and kids
We spent 2 nights in St Cloud with 3 dogs and 3 children. A great place for the family at night. For the pets plenty of room outside to be walked and tile floors inside help make managing very easy. For the kids large sectional couch and a monster tv were great and plenty of room outside to walk, run, or play. For the adults, the master bedroom was large and the bed was great to sleep on. About a 30 minute drive to Universal, but was well worth it for our family. Would gladly stay here again.
Great little place
Sandra was so easy to work with and provided us a great place to stay while visiting family in St. Cloud. House was in a great location.
Out of the way place to stay.
This place is perfect for anything you might need or want to do in the greater Orlando area. It's 20 - 40 minutes from everything. It's in a nice neighborhood and the owners are onsite to help with anything you might need. The house itself is clean and livable. Which means it isn't posh or fancy where you have to worry about your kids or pets breaking anything. This is where you go to relax and take care of yourself. If you're looking to get pampered or be wowed by the architecture then this place is not for you. It was just what I needed for a brief stay for a bit of work and play in the area. I would stay again next time I need to be in the Orlando area.
This house is located in the historic town of Saint Cloud, just minutes from Orlando and about 25 minutes from the entrance to Walt Disney World. It is conveniently located just a few miles from most major highways around Central Florida. This is a perfect place for those who want to be near to parks and Orlando, but away from crowded highways.
