Wonderful house with great features for relaxed stay. Great kitchen, multiuse rooms. Great site on lake yet low traffic. Kids and adults spent hours in the water without worry of boat traffic. Hosts very responsive to issues. Canoe on the wall has a great history!

Posted pictures matched the interior of the house. Kitchen is spacious and well stocked. The downstairs area was above expectations with many toys for the young children in our group. Screened porch was pleasant for evening and morning relaxing.Hosts were in active communication with me, making sure we were able to enter and checking on us when the power went out and a tree came down over driveway because of a severe thunderstorm. The dock area was easy to access with our rental boat and we loved the beach area for swimming with the children. We were a little surprised by the access to the beach/dock area as there were no pictures of the rather steep stairs in the listing. Six adults and 4 children agreed we would visit again.

The house is set up extremely well for families with young children and toddlers. Comfortable, roomy and has everything you would need. Easy access to the unit. The beach is a nice area , with a quiet area to float. There are 46 steps to walk down to the dock and beach. Incase you have someone in your party that struggles with stairs. We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend this property! We hope to return in the future!

We loved this place! It was truly perfect for a young family. Having a toy room, the playground, and the beach/lake area all in one place was exactly what we were looking for. Our daughter never got bored and we never had to go anywhere besides a short drive to the grocery store. We plan to stay here again.

Wonderful family vacation

We had a wonderful week at the lake. The location of the house was perfect for families with children. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The owners were kind and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Ideal spot for families with kids!

This property is fantastic! Clean, roomy and well stocked! The big table is ideal for family dinners and the lower level is a perfect spot for the kids to hang out! We have stayed in both the Summer and now in Autumn and both experiences were great! We can’t wait to plan our next visit!

Great Lake Getaway For A Boardgame Weekend

Spacious, comfortable, and far enough away from Northern Virginia to feel like a real getaway. Gorgeous lake view and a large sturdy table that is great for board games. We absolutely will look for this property in the next time we want a nerdy board game weekend.

A beautiful weekend away

We really enjoyed our weekend on Lake Anna and Ryann's house was a perfect getaway for our family. We overall found it very clean and relaxing and with lots of amenities. We especially enjoyed a lovely view of the lake from the generous screened in porch. The location was convenient to the Lake Anna State Park, several restaurants, a grocery store, a canoe rental and more. We would happily stay here again!

Lake Anna

We had a wonderful stay at Lake Anna with my Sisters family who were visiting from England. 5 kids from 18months to 10years and all had a fabulous time. Great sized home, fully equipped and no issues. We will def be returning. Great stay.

Great Family House

It's a wonderful and accommodating place to stay. We went during a snow so we stayed inside most of the time. Plenty for the kids to do, large to have enough personal space and the kitchen was AMAZING. The neighbors were kind and helpful, the owner went above and beyond to make us feel special. We can't wait to go back!

This was our first time staying at this property. We found that the house was very clean when we arrived, the towels and linens were in great shape, the general living space was very spacious for our party, the kitchen had every type of pan and appliance we needed, the refrigerator had enough space for everyone's cold items, and the basement play area was very entertaining for our younger kids (5yrs old down to 2yrs old). There is a Food Lion within perhaps a 7 minute drive from the property, so getting fresh produce and deli products was very convenient. This was also our first stay at Lake Anna. Although we were concerned about how warm the lake would be and if there would be enough room for our family to do endless skiing and tubing, our fears were immediately gone. The water was a very inviting 82-85 degrees, and on cooler mornings, being in the water was almost better than being on our boat. And based on where this house is located, we could be going full speed in less than a minute of pulling away from our dock. It's actually neat that the "beach" and dock are in a "no wake" zone and also in a dead end because we never had to be concerned with boat traffic when swimming right off the dock or within 100 yards of the property. And a marina with multiple boat ramps is located right across the water from the property. That's very convenient!Bottom line: Our family has decided we want to return to this property every summer.
