Great place!

The entire property was clean inside and out. We felt very comfortable and there was more than enough room for us. We'll definitely stay here again and will recommend it to friends.

Great cabin!

We recently stayed 2 nights in the Big Bear Bungalow cabin and we’re very happy with the cabin. It was clean and cozy, and easily accommodated 4 adults and 4 kids. We loved that it had a fenced in yard for our dogs. We will definitely be back!

Family Getaway

The property and location were perfect for our family. The house is a great size for our group of 8 adults. The property manager was always quick with a response to our questions. The only negative comment I have is some of the outdoor amenities pictured were not available, like the outdoor TV. Would recommend staying here.

Beautiful house and Dog Friendly

My friend and I really enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Our dogs loved the fenced yard. It was a bonus that the lot behind the house is empty. We couldn’t believe how quiet the neighborhood was day and night. We would definitely stay here again!

Relaxing Property

Just what was needed for a relaxing time. The home was spacious enough and had everything we needed. Having the grill makes a difference in comfort level. Its in a nice area but still close enough to the market. Definitely recommend this home.

Wonderful Neighborhood, beautiful home!

The house is spacious and comfortable. We had 8 people, 4 adults and 4 kids and we never felt crowded. There were so many games to keep the kids occupied, the hot tub was great! The rooms were good sizes and on the days we stayed in to lounge, the couch was extremely comfy! The neighborhood was so quiet, we loved it. Would definitely stay here again! A Great 7 Days

What a wonderful week we had. Our sons stayed a few days (we pontooned) & some good friends dropped by for a few hours one day. The rest of the time, we had no schedule, shopped in the Village, explored the area, read. It was fabulous. We loved the kitchen & that outdoor area. Our dog chased balls for hours. Thanks.

Comfy stay

The home was very nice. I was expecting to have a game table (because it was on the listing), however it didn't have one. We still had fun playing horse shoes. The automatic drapes were missing in the master bedroom which was a little unnerving since there were other houses across the way. However it wasn't a problem at all. Fortunately the angle of the sun didn't really affect our mornings, and we just got dressed in the bathroom. The beds were comfy, so was the couch. My daughter found some cute stuffies in the closet, so that was a nice surprise. The location was great, and the walk around the neighborhood was superb. Fabulous mega cabins around there. Also it was very close to town. I would recommend, but would advise to bring stuff to keep kids busy. We liked it.

Big Bear Fun

The home was clean and plenty of room. We had 4 adults and 3 teenagers during our stay. We were disappointed that the interchangeable game table wasn't available for our kids. We had brought a couple games which helped. The bbq in the back was perfect. The gas line was readily available and easy so no worries about not having enough propane. The kitchen could have used more dinner plates but thankfully there were plastic cafeteria style plates to fill the gap. We ran by the store to grab salt and pepper for the us and the next guests after us. The listing was in a great location. Not even 3 minutes to both grocery stores and the Village is very close also. We were pleasantly surprised with how easy and close the trash site was at the end of our stay. We would stay here again indeed. Communication with the hosts was quick and helpful. Thank you for sharing the home with our group.

house was clean but got notified while e route to checkin that the activity/pool table not available . in addition outside tv did not work. the spa was unsafe to use cover was waterlogged and super heavy stairs to get in and out of it were runny dink not safe at all Just poorly stocked for activities to do very disappointed

Lovely home. Some maintenance needed.

We were so happy to spend our weekend getaway here. Clean, nicely appointed kitchen, comfortable beds and bedding, comfortable living space, small, but fun/functional backyard. With three kids in tow and practicing social distancing, we had planned for nearly all activities to be contained within the property. The hot tub was lovely and clean, we brought a hammock and some games and we were pretty set. One of the selling points when booking the property was the game table. We were pretty disappointed to find that it is derelict beyond use. The fan in the kitchen is not working, which was a minor inconvenience. The patio furniture, while fine in appearance, left much to be desired in comfort. I’m being a bit picky, but I think it’s the details that can really put an experience over the top. I would recommend this property, but the game table really must be replaced.

Great place for a family getaway!

We had an enjoyable stay at this property. The house was clean and well stocked. The living area is large with plenty of room for a toddler and two small pups to run around. The house has been updated throughout. The master bedroom opens up onto the deck and has a nice large updated shower. The back deck is lovely although it was cold during our stay so our outside use was limited. We did use the gas grill a couple of times. It’s plumbed directly to a gas line so no worries about the tank running out! This home is located in a nice area where we were able to take enjoyable daily walks. We had a couple of minor issues when we checked in but Big Bear Destination (property management) quickly responded and solved the problem! The backyard is fenced but, if you have a small dog, there is a small opening at the chain link gate (not the main gate). We thought we had secured it but, alas, our dog got out. We were in the yard when it happened but this gate is around the corner out of sight. Fortunately we saw her get out and we’re able to retrieve her. All in all, I’d recommend this home and would stay here again.

Lovely home

A lovely, peaceful neighborhood within close distance to hikes, shops and lake. Backyard was fully enclosed and suitable to keep a toddler and our dog contained. Plenty of space and kitchen was sizeable and we were able to cook family meals.

Birthday weekend

Just like the pictures and description. We got lucky and had snow on Friday day night, just enough to cover the ground and give us the Winter Wonderland feel. Had a great times and will come back.

Great Christmas Getaway

Location is perfect, easy to get to close to everything. House was very clean and spacious. The porch was very nice to hang out during the day and for morning coffee. They have everything you can need. We did have a small issue with side fence, was broken. Not to big of an issue for us but could be issue for people with small pets. We had a great time, enjoyed Christmas and we’re lucky enough to have snow Christmas Eve and day.

Love, love, love!!!

We booked this house last minute because we were staying at another nightmare rental and we could not have been happier. The place was super clean and in a lovely neighborhood. Nice neighborhood to walk around in as well. Also close to the Vons and Village. The beds were comfortable and the sheets and towels were clean. The kitchen had everything we needed but would recommend bring spices if you want to cook since there was nothing in the house. The backyard was well kept and gorgeous, great for dogs. Hot tub was a great little addition as well! There was a disinfectant spray bottle with a note that they disinfected before we got there. Seriously could not have asked for a better place to stay, we felt very comfortable and safe especially while traveling during a pandemic :) Thank you for such a lovely stay!

Big Bear is definitely a place for lovely neighborhoods:).Cleanliness is the first priority and moreover we always keep in mind the very much needed items.Having a home that larger backyard and having the bonus of a hot tub adds charter to the home. Many of our lakefront and mountain accommodations are set aside for visitors who want to enjoy the spectacular scenery and recreation alongside their dogs. Come back soon, Destination Big Bear
