Welcome to your serene all year round escape! Our spacious waterfront cottage offers two large living areas, three cozy bedrooms, and 1.5 bathrooms. This cottage has everything you need. Immerse yourself in the crisp air, explore the vibrant outdoor space, or enjoy the cottage by drinking a hot coca by the deck. Spend your days hiking nearby trails or grilling on the deck while admiring stunning views of the lake. Feel free to message me with any questions!

The space
-Come and enjoy beautiful hiking trails, fishing, swimming, golfing, cycling, canoeing, kayaking, scenic driving routes and much more.

-Located 30 minutes away from Algonquin Park.

-Waterfront lake with a large deck. Canoes, kayaks, paddle board and water toys are always available in the shed. Lifejackets are provided.

-Fantastic fishing location (please bring your own rods)

-Propane BBQ is located on the patio

-Fire pit beside the waterfront

-Large fenced dog park for OFF-LEASH playtime with doggos!

- 3 bedrooms include 2 queen beds and one twin bed all supplied with high quality beddings, sheets and pillows.

-Kitchen is well equipped with essential cookware, Air fryer, Keurig coffee machine , tea and basic cooking spices.

-Large bathroom and powder room

-Laundry available

-Large parking space for your cars and boats/ATVs

-Please read house manual throughly before checking-in.
-Please keep your pets ON LEASH at all times
-Please wear lifejackets while in the water at all times(5 adult lifejackets are provided)

Very large cottage on lake with Kayaks, haven for responsible dog owners

Was a very good stay. I was personally there for a work trip but brought my wife and shih-tzus along as well. The property is very well set up for dog owners as there is a fenced dog area to let them go pee and even the front deck has a dog gate. Space is very large and quite modern for a cottage. simple kayaks and canoe's on-site. Simple of the infrastructure (i.e. docks and chairs on dock) could use some some repairs. But overall superb stay

Wonderful location! The cottage was quite spacious. The photos don't really do it justice. It had cooled down quite a bit the week we were there - so limited time spent in the water. (But the kayaks/canoe were great fun when we did take them out.) We were a little disappointed we could not use the wood stove inside (due to the fire ban outdoors). And some rooms smelled a lot like a wet dog. I guess that is what happens when it's a pet friendly space. We had a great time anyways. Kelly was a super host.

Great location

Finding the cottage was really easy. We wish more outside time could be spent, it was a cold weekend. Cleanliness was ok. We found Doritos under the one living table, but otherwise was clean. We appreciated the coffee and condiments provided, but he dishwasher was an added bonus. One disappointment with Vrbo when I cancelled 3 nights to 2nights we were charged the same amount. I would be more careful the next time with a booking All in all we would book this cabin again

My three sisters and I checked in on July 7 to find the grass not cut for weeks and the trip from the parking area to the cottage very dangerous because the grass had not been cut for weeks and there were no stairs. Access to the firepit area and lake were too dangerous to consider for the four of us in our sixties. While it was advertised that there was an air fryer and wet bar, the air fryer did not exist and the wet bar had no water. We enjoyed the inside, but we all love being outside and were unable to safely enjoy a place that I spent many years as a teenager enjoying. I can only image how dangerous winter would be. Stairs are definitely needed at this site, as would a railing on the outside stairs. The bathroom is listed as accessible, and yes, a wheelchair would fit there, but the sinks are very high as is the tub/shower, so it is not accessible. First impressions are everything and it looked run down, which is sad because it could be beautiful.

Chalk River is a private and quite town with lots of lake and nature to explore. Lush greenery surrounds the area, with vibrant gardens blooming in the spring and summer. Cozy winters are very relaxing as well
