My family chose 3 Mile Lake because it offers a rare sense of peace and quiet thatâs becoming harder to find in Muskoka. Itâs truly in the heart of the regionâperfectly situated between Port Carling, Huntsville, and Bracebridgeâyet it feels wonderfully removed from the bustle that can manifest is the summer months.
The neighborhood is mostly made up of retirees whose adult children now bring their own young families to enjoy the lakeâcreating a warm, multigenerational community that feels both welcoming and timeless.
One of my favorite parts is the drive in: winding pastures and glimpses of the lake make it feel like a hidden gem. Itâs the best of both worldsâserene and scenic, but close to everything you need... oh, and the roads are plowed year-round!
