Une maison ensoleillée et joyeuse près de Natural Bridges State Park. Bienvenue au Mitchell's Cove Beach House, situé sur le côté ouest ensoleillé de Santa Cruz! Situé à seulement un pâté de maisons de la plage la plus proche (voir la carte), le Mitchell's Cove Beach House est une maison ensoleillée de plain-pied adaptée aux familles avec un plan d'étage accueillant, 3 chambres, 2 salles de bain et une cour privée clôturée y compris terrasse et bain à remous. La cour avant est entièrement privée avec des sièges de patio et un excellent endroit pour le brunch du matin ou les barbecues du soir. La cuisine est entièrement équipée et située au centre pour offrir un espace de rassemblement détendu dans le salon ou la salle à manger adjacent et comprend une cuisinière à gaz confortable pour vous détendre le matin. De la salle à manger, vous pouvez descendre dans la salle familiale très grande et lumineuse, où vous pouvez accéder à la cour arrière joliment aménagée et au bain à remous semi-privé. La cheminée du salon crée une belle ambiance de soirée lors des fraîches nuits d'été. La chambre principale avec lit king size a des portes-fenêtres qui s'ouvrent sur le jardin paisible et les sons de la baie de Monterey à proximité.

Une courte promenade vous emmène directement aux escaliers de Mitchell's Cove Beach. Cette maison de vacances se trouve à 1,5 km de la promenade de Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk - le dernier parc d'attractions balnéaire de la côte ouest. Une distance encore plus courte est le Surfing Museum, un spot de surf réputé appelé Steamers Lane, Lighthouse Point et Natural Bridges State Park. Le centre-ville de Pacific Street n'est qu'à quelques minutes de route, où les restaurants et la vie nocturne abondent.

Mitchells Cove Beach House was perfect in every way. I liked the large family room where we enjoyed relaxing on the sofa and two comfortable chairs. There is a sliding door with access to the backyard. Easy in and out for the dogs. The kitchen had lots of counter space and was bright and nicely laid out next to the dining area and long table. I especially liked the home's layout. One of the bedrooms has it's own bath. The second bathroom was very nice with a bathtub/shower and long counter. Quiet neighborhood, walking distance to a beach. I felt comfortable staying here and would choose this home if I were to come back.

We loved this spot. The outdoor area is a lovely retreat, and we really enjoyed the indoor living spaces as well. It was a great location, easy to get to and from various excellent coffee shops, and other activities. We had a great stay!

The Beachnest in Santa Cruz was the perfect rental for our family trip to the coast. The property is located just 2 blocks from the beach in a very peacful and quiet neighborhood. The backyard space was amazing and allowed for games, meals and hanging out. There are bikes, sand toys, and games which really make the stay more enjoyable. Plenty of activities, beaches and coastline to explore just down the road. Highly recommended. Keep in mind there is a 400 tourism charge from the local government that may or may not be disclosed up front, but after spending time in this beautiful part of the California coast, it's understandable.

Great location and comfortable house. Loved all the options of different spaces inside and outside. Short 1 block walk to ocean and cliff walk. Would stay at the house again.

My three generation family thoroughly enjoyed our time at this house. Check-in and communication were flawless, everything was clean and comfortable, and we would stay here again in a heartbeat. We wholeheartedly recommend!

Fantastic Vacation Home

This is one of the best vacation homes we’ve stayed at! The house is very well kept, and beds and furnishings were really comfortable and clean. We appreciated all the spaces to sit and spread out as a family of five plus one dog, and enjoyed to proximity of the home to many local attractions. Highly recommend!

Wonderful Home by the ocean

We loved it. Hot tub is private. It’s one block from the ocean. Very dog friendly neighborhood. House had bikes available for roaming the area :)

Perect Locatio and great home

The home is located perfectly to easily get to everything in Santa Cruz. It also provides a very comfortable place to hang out. Quiet and well landscaped for hanging out in the back yard or entertaining inside. Hope to come back soon.

We love this house!

This is our third time staying at this property and we will come back again! Our son is attending UCSC and the house is a great place to stay when we visit. Finding accommodations that take dogs can be challenging. This house is perfect for dogs, since it has a fenced in front and backyard and is only one block from the beach. The house is comfortable and clean. We can't wait to stay again!

Mitchells Cove Beach House

Property was clean and well organized. Games were nice. Lots of clean towels. Two comments: Bathmats in the bathrooms would be nice. You need a banister for the front steps and an assist bar going into the television room. I am somewhat mobility limited. House was well worth the price and we would love to come back sometime.

Amazing location and house

We loved our stay in this rental. The house has a great lay out with room to spread out. The front and back yards were a hit. We brought our bikes and it was so easy to access the West Cliff path. We were there on a very stormy day and the power had gone out all day. We had contacted the Property Management to see if there were any lanterns. Someone very nicely drove 3 lanterns to our house. That helped so much!

Great for Family Visits

This was our second stay at the Mitchell Cove Beach House. We (myself, husband, adult son, wife and two children ages 10 and 8) visit Santa Cruz to spend Christmas week with other family. The house is a very nice layout for us with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, good size and pretty well equipped kitchen and dining area and a large family room that is on the other side of the house from the bedrooms and LR. Different folks can easily be doing different activities at different times. It is clean, well stocked and furnished, one block from the water and West Cliff Drive. It is less than a 15 min walk to Verve Coffee! Finally, it has a Hot Tub and nice back yard.

Lovely Time at Mitchells Cove Beach House

We throughly enjoyed our time at the Mitchell Cove House in Santa Cruz. We were grandparents, parents and two young children for a total of six. The house is well laid out for children (and adults) with a separate “living room” and “family room” areas. The kitchen and dining areas work well and seated us all comfortably with room for more. The kitchen is pretty well stocked for cooking. The beds were very comfortable and the house was clean. The yard was lovely for gathering and, again, for children. The location was ideal for us; close to Santa Cruz family, a short one block walk to Mitchells Beach and West Cliff Drive. It was also in walking distance to a neat shopping area. We would definitely recommend it and stay here again.

Lovely Home and Location; Poor Management

This home is located in a lovely part of Santa Cruz on a very quiet block steps away from the beach. The bedrooms are nicely proportioned. The kitchen and living spaces are well suited for a small group. The bathroom in the master bedroom was outdated and a bit dirty (the bathmat was filthy) and they did not leave toilet paper in that bathroom, but otherwise the house was what was expected. All that being said, we did experience one major disappointment when we discovered that the hot tub was not functioning. The management team was aware of the hot tub issue as they had a team working on it when we arrived. However, it was never fixed, which we did not learn until we tried using it the next day only to discover that it had no water. The management company never bothered to inform us that the hot tub was not operational and only addressed the matter after we contacted them after departure. An apology for the hot tub not being in service did not come until three communications later (over 48 hours after checkout). And, the financial accommodation for the inconvenience was more of an insult than a recognition of the fact that they were unable to deliver on one of their key amenities. The house is nice and deserves better from its management team. So, while I do recommend the house itself, do not expect the management team to adequately address issues they are aware of.

The Mitchell’s Cove beach house is fabulous.A simply beautiful home.Each bedroom is tastefully decorated, the beds are comfortable and the towels are plush.Spectacular gardens and outdoor spaces to gather together or find a place to be alone. The hammock was a big hit, and the outdoor grill was a great way to cook some fresh fish and hamburgers. The house is a block from the ocean and West Cliff Drive, which has a delightful walking / bike path which leads to the lighthouse, beaches and surfing spots, and benches facing west to wait for the absolutely unbeatable sunsets. The house was a hit with three generations of our family and one Golden Retriever! We give the Mitchell’s Cove house, its owners and Beachnest, the property managers, our highest, unequivocal recommendations!

Casual luxury in paradise

We really enjoyed the property and neighborhood. Mitchell's Cove is a short walk and is beautiful. The rooms are spacious and the front and back yard are great. The kitchen was very well appointed, making it easy to cook at home. Also, the hot tub is a fantastic touch. We’d definitely come back when in SC.

Lovely beach rental

Our family had a great stay. We loved being close to the West Cliffs and beaches. The house was clean and we appreciated being able to bring our dog. The backyard was a mini oasis. The property management team was super helpful.
