Monthly Beach House Rental!
Three blocks from the beach, your family will love this centrally located beach house.
Escape to the beach and feel at home before you even walk in the door. Tucked in on a peaceful and private lane, 3 blocks from Sunny Cove or Corcoran Beach; the sound of distant crashing waves and ocean smell are good for the soul. There is room for the whole family: 2 bedrooms and 1 bath downstairs and master suit and family room upstairs. There is a well stocked kitchen to make a fabulous meal. There is a spacious dining area and living room downstairs. There is a leather section couch with reclining ends and a 55” TV. There is an additional family room upstairs with a 55” TV and dart board, comfy couch to play other games as well. In addition we just put in a queen Murphy bed for additional guests. This house is bright and cozy !

There are beach chairs, boogie boards, foam top surf boards and sand toys in garage to use. We have lots of beach cruisers available for our guests, bring your own helmets. There is a hot tub and outdoor shower too.

There is so much to do in Santa Cruz with The Santa Cruz Boardwalk and Wharf near by, world famous Pleasure Point surfing, shopping and dining on 41st, just hop on a bike or walk, all of it is minutes away. There is a Starbucks and a farmers market on Sundays one block away, as well as a brewery with a different activity each night that you won't want to miss. If you like mountains, the nearby redwoods are incredible and there are several state parks to hike in. We love it here and you will too.

You will have access to the entire main house and there is a private entrance. There is a separate unit over the detached garage, which the owner uses, especially if the surf is good. There is a separate entrance and yard , so you might not even know we are there unless the light is on. The garage is not connected to the main house. If the owner is there, the garage, outdoor shower, deck and hot tub are shared space. We may also be around to do yard work if needed.

Fab time in Santa Cruz

This home has a fun, comfy beach vibe. The kitchen was well appointed with everything we needed during our visit. The home is clean yet casual and perfect for hanging out with family and friends. We walked to the beach daily! The hosts are helpful and friendly.

This was a perfect getaway vacation house. Very well appointed and very comfortable and fun.The location was exceptional. While you're just a block from 2 main roads (17th avenue, Portola avenue) you're also hidden away, down a nice long and private driveway.It is also a perfect central location to head to downtown or the westside, or toward Capitola and beyond using either Portola or Brommer.We loved being so close to the ocean and definitely enjoyed not only getting in the water but watching the surfers and sunsets and sea birds!There were also a bunch of classic beach cruiser bicycles which we enjoyed for local rides along the coast and up to Capitola Village.Lastly there were several excellent eating spots within just a couple of blocks (a true Italian market and deli called Bottega del Lago, Perrico's taqueria, and Lago di Como). A little further up the road our new favorite restaurant (around 38th and Portola) is Suda, with classic California cuisine. Gayle's in Capitola is always a favorite as well. And ONE MORE: there is a fantastic Farmers Market just a couple of blocks away on Sunday mornings.

A magical month in Santa Cruz

Where to start? With one minor problem during the month and both hosts jumped in to help and make sure everything was OK. My wife and I are retired and with more leisure time we like to walk. This is a great location for that several local beaches, a deli, a convience store, a Mexican Bakery and several great restraints are all within a reasonable walk. Downtown Santa Cruz, the Boardwalk, and West Cliff drive (very scenic) are all a short drive away. If you are more adventuresome then Monterrey, Camel and even Big Sur make for a great trip south along the bay. If you want to head north then Half Moon Bay and even San Francisco can be wonderful day trips. Location, location, location. We had a wonderful month here and hope to come back here again and again.Kirby & Margaret Arnold

Sunny Cove Surfer Haven

This very comfortable home is tucked away on a cul-de-sac off a quiet street. The beach was within a ten minute walking radius, as were coffee shops, restaurants and a Sunday farmer's market. There is a funky beach shack vibe, but with lots of comfortable amenities. We were especially happy that the property was pet friendly.
